I have never left a review in my life. Especially not a negative one. I will Never go the sonic in Iowa again. I had hands down the rudest carhop in sonic history tonight. Not only did she speak in a literal hostile/angry tone when she actually did bring my order out and handed her my card to pay, she snatched it out of my hand and rolled her eyes as she walked away. I was so confused because I hadn't even complained yet or said a word to her.Being that I was the ONLY customer in the parking lot and I wanted 18 mins for a shake! After 12 minutes, the screen said my car hop was on the way with my shake..she was still standing around talking inside..not on her way. She scanned her braclet to pick up my order, so she stood there, finishing her important conversation with fellow workers for 6 mins with my shake in her hand before she decided to bring it out...Let me say this again..I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER THERE..It was 630 in the evening. They weren't closing soon, nor short staffed. Atleast 5 others were in there, on there phones or partaking in the important conversation I'm assuming..when She does bring it, the attitude and the eye roll WAS ENOUGH FOR ME. Sonic if you can't get decent employees who want to work and knows how to treat your customers, then you need to go ahead and close up. I worked at sonic when I was a teen for 3 years, I work in customer service now..YOU CANT TREAT THE PEOPLE THAT ARE COMING TO BUY YOUR PRODUCT, THAT MAKES YOU MONEY TO FEED YOUR FAMILY AND PAY YOUR BILLS, LIKE THEY ARE A BOTHER TO YOUR STAFF FOR MAKING THEM DO THERE JOB. Came here for lunch, ordered my food and when the girl came out instead giving me 1 bag she gave me 3 smaller bags. I asked for a bigger bag and she looked at me like I had 3 heads. She then came back 10 Minutes later with a bag. The restrooms were disgusting. The food was decent, but How do you screw up fast food. I did get a few onion rings in my box of chicken and tots. Absolutely nothing good to say about this sonic location we travel quite a bit and this was by far the absolute worse service we have received at not only a sonic but any fast food place we have visited across the country. Keep on driving. Stopped on our way to LA with our kids. Waited a good 10 minutes for them to tell us one of the things we ordered was not available. So we just ordered something simple instead. They come out with the food, still charged us for the meal that they didn't have. The replacement was not given and they forgot other parts of the order. She fixed the total amount, we told her to just not worry about the replacement food. When she returned with our card we let her know the additional items we ordered weren't in the bag either. SERIOUSLY?! She returns to the kitchen again... comes back out to let us know it will be a while because they have to cook! ...On top of everything else the kids food was cold. I had to press the service button three times to finally have my order taken. Ordered two Sonic blast and one pretzel and waited for over 25 minutes. After my husband finally went to the window to complain our food was delivered a couple of minutes later. They were not busy whatsoever. On the upside, the pretzel was delicious. read more

Stopped here on our way back to Texas. Ordered 2 burgers and a kids meal and we are currently at a wait time of over 30 minutes. We have counted at least 6 people in there and we are looking in the door at food that has been sitting on a tray for 15 min already without being delivered...don't waste your time if you're in a hurry or expect your food in a reasonable amount of time. read more

I would give this 0 if I could. I visited this location twice. The first time I ordered after waiting approximately 10 min the food was dry and cold. The second time today at 1:47 pm (no lunch rush) this time I waited over 10 min and never had my order taken. The screen advised the red button was pushed please wait, I received no other response. When complaining to a manager she was very flippant and said it must be an out of order stall. No sign indicated that and according to the button it was working, but apparently the employees weren't. read more
