I came here when it was busy. Lunch rush, I suppose. So, maybe this review is poorly timed, but, adaptation is important. It took about ten minutes to order. Another ten to get our food. Like I said, it was busy. The lobby area and tables weren't clean. I've been other places where it was busy, but, tables were clean and the fast food was still fast. Food was hot and fresh, though. Stopped in to use the restroom and grab coffee before going hiking. Walk in, no customers, nobody at the counter. Use restroom, come out, no customers, no staff. Guy comes out pushing a trashcan, walks by me. Another guy appears at the drive through window, starts taking an order on his headset. I walk out. Who is the priority? Drive through or walk-in? Rudeness is found here from cashier to shift manager. Why is it that I am treated dismissively after I have to repeat the order three times...I know they don't care about customers because I can hear their attitude over the speaker (and yes that includes the angry mumbling under their breaths! ). DON'T be expected to be treated with any kind of decency here - whether you are rude or you are respectful... the disdain and lack of customer service is obvious here. I didn't feel like eating the food I was treated with the most contempt in a long time. This is fast food but not customer centered at all. I had not been in a BK for years but was starving on the road and dying to try the Impossible Burger. Thank you BK for trying this out and making it prominent on your menu. If you are vegan, make sure to ask for no mayo. And I would recommend asking for mustard in its place. There is no cheese on it normally. I must admit, this thing was decent! Wish there was a whole grain bun, but who am I kidding. What is going on in the world when a burger like this starts to sell in Hamburg PA, home of the Hamburger Festival. What a horrible fast food store. The drive thru staff are rude and incompetent even the general store manager, was told to "move it along b/c we were holding up the drive thru ' because they couldn't get our order correct on the screen, tried multiple times to correct it but the drive thru attendee couldn't get it right, asked for the manager and the line manager came to the window to tell us she doesn't know who that would be. The manager finally came over and we then asked for the district managers name and number .. called and spoke to someone.. but never in my life have I ever had such a rude person! We will NEVER be going to Burger King especially in Hamburg pa ever!!! read more

It's an OK location for Burger King. It's very convenient, but the restaurant itself is sort of beat-up. For instance, the buttons to dispense the ice and soda flavors are largely pushed in and hard to read from one flavor to another. Orders are accurate and the food is typical Burger King, but it could use little tweaks here and there. read more

Wow! So rude! I couldn't tell from the menu picture what was in a breakfast burrito, so I asked, and there was this long 30 second pause which was followed by a response that had a tone of, "how dare you ask me a question!" I profess to the window, pay, and say "No receipt necessary, thank you." Clerk says ok and hands me back my card. Re-opens window, shoves our bag, says, "Have a nice day." I ask, "Could I please get ketchup an a barbecue sauce?" Clerk jerkily grabs handful of an exorbitant amount of catch up and flicks it into my bag, and does the same with what I thought was barbecue sauce. I say "Thank you!" She says, "Yeah. Sure." Open my bag to eat: receipt is folded and tossed in, alongside a ranch. Who the heck ruined that woman's day? What a rude child! read more

I know I deserve it but I was almost home after a long ride and just wanted a little something to hold me over till I got home. Bad decision, but at least it was cheap. Decided to try their $1 taco and 4 mozzarella sticks. I unwrapped the taco broke it in half no filling that was recognizable anyway the shell was hard dark and shrunk. This I'm sure isn't qualified to be classed as food. I put the broke thing back in the package and threw it in trash, better there then in my mouth. That's that! And yet another incompetent drive thru. I ordered an A1 chicken sandwich and surprise! They managed to forget the lettuce and tomato. I went back through the drive thru and they quick sloppily threw on a few pieces of lettuce and one tomato slice. If I'm going to pay $8 for a meal, whether it's from Burger King or a gas station, I at least expect to get what's advertised. What's advertised? A delicious looking chicken sandwich stacked with toppings and long slices of bacon. Reality? An oversized chicken patty, a couple slivers of bacon that were the length of a thumb, cheap American cheese, and a squirt of sauce. What a rip off. read more

I ordered a breakfast sandwich meal and it was barely warm. Pretty pathetic if you can't do fast food right. Might go back for coffee or soft drinks, but not to eat there. I will continue to eat at other Burger Kings, but not this one. read more

I don't expect much when I walk into any burger king and this one is no exception. Drive through service is poor, restaurant is managed bad. And food, as usual, is horrible. However this is a prime location so the owner I am sure is raking in money, so why fix it. Choose McD's across the street. read more

I don't even want to give one star at all - this place sucks! I ordered a breakfast burrito and it came out with big black hair in it! I took it back in and ordered a croissant sandwich. Not once did they offer to give me my money back. For a hair! Gross! The sandwich I received was ice cold and you could tell the croissant was old as it was falling apart. So I turned around and went back in again to get my money back at this point. The manager gave me a hard time about getting a full refund for my meal, despite the fact I had to turn around twice for terrible food! Ridiculous! It's a shame because they have a great location but run it terribly. From what I've heard, this place is notorious for giving bad service so I should have known better! Don't go there! Terrible just terrible, we ordered a whopper a spicy chicken sandwich and chicken fries and they didn't have the chicken sandwich whopper was good but waited a half hour for cold food. I haven't eaten here in many many years. Not since I got take-out and when I got where I was going I found my chicken sandwich in a roll that had CLEARLY been chewed up by mice. Horrible customer service on 2-3rd shift. In Hamburg PA your night manager is a tool. He's beyond rude to customers and can't even answer questions. William (you can plainly see it on his name tag! Refused to give me his name then gave me a fake name of Fred) could not or would not answer my questions. When I asked to speak to him his response (which I could hear being yelled from some where in the back) was... Tell her we're closed. Once requested again to speak to the manager he poked his head out the kitchen and yelled... We're closed... They were NOT closed. Still open for 2 more hours. Owners of these companies... Please get these people or something.! I've been a professional chef for over 10 years and if ever would have treated someone this way I would have been gone very quick! Well, stopped there for lunch on 9/8 around 11:45 am and the service was very bad, could not get the order right (wrong and missing food), and food cold. Received order and had to wait at the drive thru window about 2 minutes to get my drink. They had the window open and I was calling them and honking the horn, finally someone came and said oh yea it is right here, sorry. Drove away and started down the road and the order of chicken fries was not in the bag. Had to turn around and go back inside and the attitude of the person behind the counter was not even apologetic. The order of chicken fries was on the counter and when I got them and started to drive away again I found that they were cold and tasted like a sponge. The onion rings were cold as well. Also, there was (3) cheese burgers that were ordered and asked for no pickles (these were for my kids) and there was pickles and no cheese. I took my receipt and tried to do the BK survey and there was no code on the receipt so I could do the survey. I guess they lost a customer. read more

It's on par for a fast food establishment. The place is always clean and I usually do not have to wait to order my food. Even if I do, it is usually only for one person to order ahead of me. The food is always warm and the soda is always cold. Works for me - bonus is that it is within a block of my work, so I can walk there on a nice day. read more

Worst Burger King experience of my life. I went through the drive-thru at 8PM on a Tuesday. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers, small fries , and small onion rings. I was asked to pull ahead and they would bring my food out to me. After waiting about 10 minutes, I backed up to the window and asked, where was my food? The kid went to the car ahead of me, which was also waiting, and retreived MY food which had accidentally been given to the other customers. Yes I know I should have demanded my money back right then and there, but I was tired, in a hurry, and hungry. I was still looking at a two hour drive home and what should have been a quick stop had already been about 15 minutes. So I checked the bag and one of the cheeseburgers was missing. Probably already being eaten by one of the folks in the other car. So the kid went back inside to get it. I waited a few minutes, and he never came back. I just left in disgust. On top of it all the food I did get was cold. Let's not forget that he was rude about the whole thing. AVOID this place like the PLAGUE!! read more
