Great service. Fresh food. Bubbly soda. Thick fries. Couldn't ask for more from a drive through.

Just terrible. Fry's aren't fresh nuggets are cold and there's a short chubby manager that's rude to costumers

The service is alway fast and friendly and they will happily guide through your selection and answer all your questions. The portions are huge! The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. So far I've had the Bistro Burger a couple times, the Curly Joe, onion rings, okra, cole slaw, the chips and pulled pork and the brisket nachos. Andrea has has the hangover burger and the midstate burger with cottage cheese and shared in the chips and nachos. She also stole huge bites of my burgers and several of my onion rings! Everything has been awesome! So awesome, int fact, we stopped on the way uo north to Alpine from Gilbert, and decided to stop in again the following day in the way home! The Copper Bistro great excuse to get out of the valley for the Phoenicians!

Our choices were Copper Bistro and Nurd Burger Cafe and for no particular reason we decided on Coper Bistro. We were surprised and richly rewarded by their cheese burger, fries and onion rings. I may have made mention in other reviews that a burger patty must protrude beyond the bun in order to attract my attention. This patty protruded well beyond the brioche bun and, better yet, it was hand crafted, not pulled out of a box of 300 other patties that were shaped exactly the same. And the beef was flavorful. We both enjoyed the fries and onion rings. Our meal was so filling we didn't eat dinner that night. Oh, the staff are super friendly, attentive and downright welcoming. If you find yourself in Globe, you could do a lot worse that supping at Copper Bistro.

We were in full shade. The owner handled this as well as our order and bringing out the food. He was friendly and engaging. The place is cute inside and was clean. The only disappointment was that the half pound of brisket I got was chopped rather than sliced. I am sure that is on me for not realizing it would come that way. Regardless, the meat was lean and tender and has a nice smokey taste. I prefer not to use sauce and this meat didn't need any. The burnt ends (both beef and pork belly) were good but I would stick to the brisket. My husband got a baked potato and it was loaded up nicely. The fries were very good and served piping hot. The order size was generous. If you find yourself in or near Globe, this place is worth a stop.

The place has a no-nonsense, small-town charm. You walk in and it smells like someone's been tending a smoker since sunrise. I went for the brisket and ribs combo, and it was everything I hoped for. The brisket had that perfect smoke ring and melted in my mouth, and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone with just enough bite to keep it interesting. Their house BBQ sauce is tangy with a little kick--not too sweet, not too spicy, just right. What really stood out was the portion size. It's not just generous--it's borderline ridiculous. Watching HUGE BBQ PLATTER CHALLENGE | BeardMeatsFood, I thought it might be exaggerated for the camera, but nope. They serve up serious plates. You can see why Adam (BeardMeatsFood) was sweating through that challenge. The staff were friendly and seemed genuinely proud of what they're serving. I chatted with one of the guys behind the counter who mentioned they've had folks come in just because of the YouTube video. It's cool to see a local spot get that kind of attention. If you're into food challenges, the vibe is very much like what you see in DRUNK GUY BETS BAR STAFF I'LL BREAK THE RECORD ... and THIS CHALLENGE HAS BEEN FAILED 70 TIMES! | 13TH ...--fun, a little chaotic, and full of personality. But even if you're just there for a regular meal, Gila Hogs delivers. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Globe, AZ, and you love BBQ, this place is worth the stop. It's not polished or fancy--it's just damn good food made by people who care. So Sad this place is now closed since I was there !!!!

Oh my, not only were they fast pitch baseball size, topped with marinara, Parmesan cheese and fresh basil they were so great. We sat outside at the bar with the misters going around us and it was perfect. So relaxing and comfortable. Three meatballs was more than enough to totally satisfy the two of us. I had two Prickly Pear Martinis, I was not the driver, which were wonderful. All in all I would highly recommend this place for a date night, an evening with friends or a perfect afternoon pit stop.

The pizza was hot and tasty and the beer was cold and bubbly. I had a Flagstaff beer Brew42 Irish Red, and Liz enjoyed an lighter 805 draft from California. Not too shabby for a Friday night off the beaten path on the road to Phoenix. They had a variety of pizza flavors, buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken, margherita, cheese ...we went for their Three Piglets which came with salama, sausage, and bacon. Not heavy despite all the sliced pork...full of flavor. The kids enjoyed the pizza and Noemi was amazed with the amount of cheese in her Mac n cheese. Kim O was a very nice and attentive server. She made sure we wanted for nothing. We didn't sit in the bar area, but there were sports being played on the big screens. It was later at night but it seemed like a popular gathering place and older families were hanging out and walking out with smiles as we walked in. We were glad to have stopped on this pass through enroute to Phoenix.

Gluten free eater…read more I've been here before for the hot fudge. My mom loves them and I try to avoid dairy. So my normal go to are fries. This time my husband and I wanted lunch. It went down hill from here. My husband ordered the double stack hidden valley ranch burger meal. It was so soggy that the bottom bun had disintegrated. The top bun was so hard he couldn't bend it. Appears to have been sitting out for a while. The fries were stale. The iced tea isn't my favorite brand of tea. That isn't their fault. I'm picky for good iced tea. His burger had no lettuce but without me asking (I ordered the same as his with modifications) mine came with lettuce. My order was correct. I got the same burger as my husband minus onion runs, bbq and a bun. They got all that right. Honestly that probably is part of the one star rating. I rarely get fast food to get me my order quickly and correctly. My burger had a ton of lettuce on it. The lettuce looked frozen and thawed. The ribs were discolored. It felt soggy. But it was bright green. I removed it all. The burger tasted like a frozen patty that was microwaved. I don't mind a good frozen patty, I've been to other local places that do them well. The bacon was fine and the cheese sauce was okay. To be honest it was one of the worst meals I've had in globe. We will only be returning for their ice cream items for my husband and my mom.

Ive been on Yelp since 2006 (close…read moreto 20 years and well before Google maps or reviews ever existed) and without it, I would have missed out on a lot of cool and neat places like this! Thanks Yelp for helping me find 20 years of good eats, drink and fun! La Luz Del Dia means "the light of the day" in Spanish and boy is this place bright and cheery and the perfect start to a glorious and beautiful Sunday morning. You know this place is gonna be good because as I drove down the deserted road nary a car through downtown Globe and arrive at this place, you see a bunch of cars parked huddled near this place. I knew it wws gonna be good. I walk into this unassuming place and almost every table is taken at close to 9am on Sunday. There were a few seats at the counter facing the open kitchen so I made a beeline to sit down. Wait staff and customers in here are so nice and friendly! The cute girls working here are fast and efficient, and super sweet and all with a smile. I was pretty hungry as I hadn't eaten since Friday breakfast and was ready to gobble up a good breakfast. I had a chorizo burro (same as a burrito, still trying to figure out the difference) and a cup of coffee. Coffee was ok, and did the job. But, the burro was great! Southwest breakfast burritos are some of the best, and when you're in the Southwest, definitely don't pass this up to have. This burro was also huge and despite the fact I was famished, I could only eat a half of my burro. You can get red or green salsa, but since I am a spice pansy, I opted for the red, which was still more spicy than I can handle. By 9:20am, I was finished eating and ready to go. You go up to the cashier and pay there. There's a desert and drinks case by the register and lots of goodies there to choose from too. There was baklava, orange cake and brownies on offer. I also spied a chamoy pickle for sale too, here in the Southwest when the summers get so hot, having a pickle is sometimes in order to replace the salt we lose sweating so much! Overall, I loved this place! Loved the atmosphere as its kind of an old school diner, and everyone in here was a delight and the food was delicious! I'll be back again when coming thru Globe again! And you should definitely check this place out when passing thru Globe!
