My son and I came by this location about a week ago and the staff were super kind and helpful but that's the easier thing to forget because the food was not only picture perfect and looked just like the advertisements but it was hands down the best BK we have ever had. Bro the fries were peak, the burger was fire and it all even looked great. First time inside the store. I ordered an ice cream, fried cheese sticks, and a whopper. Paid online for dine in. They didn't have the ice cream and asked if they could sub cookies. I didn't want cookies, so asked for a refund on that item. Sat down and ate the burger and fried cheese sticks. First bite of the cheese sticks it was hard. It seems it was never heated or wasn't on a warning plate if it was. I threw them in the bin so I wouldn't get sick, and walked out. Finished my burger in the car on the way to Dairy Queen. The credit for my ice cream never came back on my bank account later. So I contacted online support via the app and gave them a piece of my mind about my visit here. They gave me a $5 credit. This restaurant has improved in the past six months. I have been to this location for the last couple years and it was the worst experience ever. But I have seen and tasted a difference in the last six months. The crew and staff have been improving and the whopper with cheese no pickle and onion, cheeseburger only ketchup and 2 fries and 1 large coke and all was hot and fresh, fries were hot, the whopper was delicious. The staff was friendly and cared about the customers having to wait a bit longer, they seem to be a little short staffed still but they hustle and try to get us out as fast as they could, there was only 4 staff members on and was busier than my prior visits. This was my first visit to this BK in roughly six months. The experience at this BK left me knowing I'll never visit this location again. I asked for mayonnaise and a dipping sauce with my meal. The guy at the window was apparently putting something into my order bag with two combos. When he handed me the bag, he said "your sauces are in the bag". Shortly after leaving, I discovered no mayonnaise or dipping sauce were present. While this may seem like a minor discrepancy, it's not. He said the sauces were included. Because the doors are locked, I suppose my only recourse would be to get back in the drive thru line. Not worth the effort. And, besides, the food was marginally edible, even for fast food. I would like to give it 5 stars based on the fact that the property is kept clean, the inside is refurbished and clean and the staff is friendly. But I rated it only 4 stars based on the issues of my last visit. There was very overwhelming pungent stench of grease (or fryer oil) that needed to be replaced and they were out if some condiments (?)... That said, the staff was able to take our order quickly and were very courteous. What I got a short time later was a medium rare burger, on "untoasted soggy white bread" with one pickle and foul smelling onions! Taking the time to research Burger Kings in the area they are under the ownership of an LLC out of Vancouver, Washington, and incorporated in Delaware! Going further, the entire Burger King Chain is owned by an unnamed "Foreign Corporation"! In the not to distant past this BK was owned and operated by a couple of guys who worked and managed it every single day! Now, it is staffed and managed by a bunch of lazy, unmotivated children! I support my local community by patronizing our fine Burger King. Burger King is where I go when I get a yen, a jones, or a hankering for the special "char flavor" that is the signature of their establishment. I am less enthusiastic about their BDVS's (burger delivery vehicle systems), but the burger remains the cornerstone, the foundation, the bellwether and the lodestar of what I term "depeche gourmet." In addition to the food, the youths working here are friendly, amiable, and courteous. They often smile and seem genuinely caring in their demeanor and enthusiastic in the discharge of their duties. I'd even venture that they acquit themselves admirably in terms of the precision craftsmanship demonstrated in this franchise. If that were not enough, the location itself is an excellent place to work, study, or maintain a community office. It is surprising quiet, and large picture windows allow an abundance of light, unlike the nearby Starbucks, which seems like a cold, dark, cacophonous dungeon by comparison. Unlike a coffeshop, saloon or literary salon, It isn't currently the fashion to remain here for any purpose, or to tarry for more than a few moments. Consequently, few people do. I see the occasion family with children, quietly biding their time before departing for an adventure, or to retire to their home and hearth. This very fact is what makes the location such an inviting spot. It's not just because I'm a paranoid, misanthropic, nonconformist contrarian. There are no loud, stressful alarms or beeping sounds and people running back and forth like an army base that's about to be overrun by an enemy attack. It's safe here, and has a semi-clean, single stall restroom. And if you do want to work with coffee, they can set you up quite nicely, and at a fraction of the cost of the average coffee chain.
