Food was fine. As expected. Service was NILL. We were all alone so ordered at the kiosk but kids meals were not available. (Reason we went!). Credit card reader was not operating and someone from the back came up to tell us that we had to swipe it at a different machine, which was not clearly labeled and would not work either with two of our credit cards. It would not read them after she processed our payment for two cheeseburgers. We asked her if they had kids meal and she said of course - so then why can't we order them there? In what world do customers not get at least a small water without being charged? I would've gladly paid a quarter for the cup but $1 is too much. You know the cup and tap water costs all of $.02. First of all if I could give a -1 star I would. Yackie the manager was not so friendly when it comes to customer service. After showing our coupon she said our order would come out the same if we used it because we had a drink. We asked to removed the drink. She then went and put in her manager code to be able to use the coupon and gift card. The cashier comes and gives us the gift card back since it had money still. We proceeded to the next window. I looked at the receipt and Yackie charged us the same. She seemed upset when we first got there. We asked the cashier, we got over charged. She spoke broken English which is fine but with the mask and plexi glass I had a hard time understanding so she rang in my order wrong and then when I asked to have a refund o. They refunded me but neglected ti tell me it 2-3 days for a refund so when I paid for the new order of 24 it didn't go through . We entered the restaurant with only one customer in front us. We waited almost 7 minutes until the gentleman waiting for his order told us we need to use self order station. During this 7 minutes, we were simply invisible to the workers who passed us several times. All we need was a gesture pointing to the screen. I realize this makes more of a fool of me than anything but of the last probably 10 times I've been there, at least 8 of those times they've forgotten to either give me sauce for my chicken or something I ordered entirely. I realize I should probably have started checking my bag around the 3rd time but I for some reason hate doing it and frankly shouldn't have to. I've had good customer service the past few times I've been here. I think they've improved a lot over the past year in that sense. My most recent visit was today. The lady at the drive-thru window was very polite and sweet. We got two orders of the chicken fries, plus regular fries and drinks. The fries were fresh, I got the correct sauces, everything was in the bag. I drove away happy. The chicken fries are really good. I've only gotten delivery from this location once and they did a great job. They delivered to my work and everything was in order. Our whoppers were a little cold when they reached us, but it was winter so it wasn't the driver's fault. I can't comment on the inside of this BK. The counter person (who said she was the manager) was too busy texting to help fill my order. Today was my pushing point for this place... If you need to grab a quick meal, do yourself a favor and don't got here, there's SO many other food places RIGHT there(McDonald's, Wendy's, 5Guys, &pizza, a diner, Ruby Tuesdays, you get my drift...) Anyways, this has always been the general consensus since I've been going there for years, it's SO slow (only will roll in if no one else is in the DT), the employees are complete drones with absolutely NO personallity (they don't even answer "how are you today?"!) No smiles, nothing. But this was my kicker for writing this today: the girl that took my payment earlier, also gave me my bag. (She had also put my cookies in my bag sans gloves, so I was already watching)Well, they gave me fries instead of onion rings, so I told her, & handed them back to her. She proceeded then, WITH NO GLOVES AFTER HANDLING MONEY, to go grab a box for said rings, cross contaminate by using the scooper handle, scooped my rings into the box (she even used her thumb while placing them in another bag, I was watching her like a hawk by then, I was so grossed out.) and then proceeded to bring them back to the window to me. Instead of causing a scene and worth risking something even more gross happening to my meal, I just tossed the whole thing, drink included, and went to Wendy's literally about 100 yards away. Also, this is for CORPORATE: not sure if this is against your rules and what not, but this location refuses to stock real BK BBQ sauce packets. They use small plastic cups with lids and pump like 1 squirt into it then close it with a lid. Not only is this not what I'm paying for, it's cheap and leaves room for more cross contamination to occur as well as tons more trash. Also, I have never seen a real BK napkin from this place, ever. He uses these real cheap, thin, tri-fold napkins that are bought at Costco. I know he's doing that or something similar, as sometimes the napkins are white, sometimes brown. Seen a selection of straws as well. I'll be honest and never really trusted this BK location, I just pushed it to the back of my head because I USED to like BK. But if they are allowing their employees to touch money, the DIRTIEST thing in the world, then go right back to touching food and prepping with bare hands, I can almost guarantee these are the same kinds of people that don't wash their hands after they wipe... If you ABSOLUTELY need BK, drive another 2 miles east up 118 to the big one at the corner of 355 & 118. Much better and has a huge place place for the kids. Very clean too, this one here is pretty shady inside (& not much faster than the DT! Lol) read more
