Mainly burgers on the small menu - no surprise given their name. We started with a beer and an order of their deep fried cauliflower with a Buffalo wing hot sauce. They were tasty but a total rip off. A very small serving for $9! I got the mushroom Swiss double burger which was a juicy mess and quite good. I not a big fan of smash burgers since they are often overcooked and I like my burgers medium rare but this one was better. $16 felt a bit much. My wife got the classic burger and liked it for a smash burger. Service was good but the cauliflower price for what we got really colored our experience.

She asked if I had been there before and asked me what I wanted to drink and gave me a menu. I come to EC a few times a year and this was my first time at CNH but it wont be my last. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger (with crinkle cut fries) and an order of the cheese curds. Curds came out fresh, hot and crispy. Paired with their ranch, these were the perfect start to the meal. After that came out the freshly grilled burger and fries. This was a no frills burger, but it was exactly what I like. Nice char on the burger, melty cheese and crispy salty bacon. Each bite brought me to a family bbq that I was missing. Fries were hot and fresh, perfect in my eyes. CNH came in clutch for a quick lunch and I will be back!

I think it was dill. either way, I feel like the batter is an afterthought at other places with fried fish. the crinkle fries were ok. But our food was terribly slow nearly an hour waiting for chicken wings and kids Mac and cheese. It came out warm-ish like it had been sitting for a long time. One minor complaint for me was the amount of breading with a thin sliced pickle in the middle. For my meal I ordered the maple bourbon burger, I will say the burger was very salty. I couldn't finish it all, so I ended up taking it home. Here's my main complaint. I'm finding out a lot of places are not very handicap accessible including the lack of handicap parking, before we left I needed to use the bathroom. I could barely get into the bathroom with my walker. My daughter had to hold the door as I squeezed myself in. I'm not a big person either. Just a tight squeeze all together. Once I got to the handicap stall, there was no lights towards the back. It was very dark. I also noticed there were no rails to hold onto as I tried to sit down on the very low toilet. I'm recovering from hip surgery and it wasn't easy sitting/getting off the toilet. I also happened to look up to see if there were lights and maybe there were burned out and that's when I noticed a extremely dirty exhaust fan. It looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. Not a huge deal, but The District always seemed to me as a big upscale restaurant, I felt a little under dressed. I love the vibe and the music and the customer service was great during my visit.

It's the type of place you'd like to go and hang out it while watching a game. Menu for drinks is also fun. However, the wait for our food was nearly an hour and it wasn't crazy busy. I came into this experience very excited about the menu, but the execution was disappointing. We ordered "The Spread" with two different types of wings for our kids, along with curds and fried pickles. Our spread came out, after an hour wait, with only one of the wing sauces we ordered and it was not the one they really wanted. The pickles are extremely thin and very heavily breaded so it's hard to taste the pickles amongst the heavy breading. Curds were fine. I ordered the Balsamic Chicken Quinoa Bowl and to my surprise it came out cold. It wasn't cold as if it was made with cold ingredients, it was the type of cold that makes you think it sat for a while before being delivered to the table. If it is supposed to be cold, it should be notated on the menu. After waiting so long for our food we didn't even bother with asking for something else or letting the server know that things weren't right. We just wanted to get on our way to get to our destination. The server never acknowledged the long wait time or offered to do anything to compensate for it, which leads me to believe this may be commonplace at this establishment. I should have taken the warning from other reviews about the poor service, but since they weren't recent we thought we'd give them a chance to redeem themselves and earn a great review. Won't return.

We went there for veggie burgers on our long drive back to the Twin Cities. They do things our favorite way: you can get most styles with your choice of four patties, and one of them veggie, for a custom experience. The veggie one is a Gardenburger, not as cool as a home made one, which tempted me to drop a star. However, given what they are, a bar and grill, expectations should be tempered. For what they do, it is top notch. Service was wonderful. It was clean and low-key inside. Food was very good all around. We had the jerk style and Cajun style burgers. The jerk was very mild and had some intriguing spice in it that I really liked (cloves or nutmeg?). (Contrary to popular belief, the jerk is not named after me.) The Cajun was mild, but more spicy. The pub fries that we added to one were decent and the side salad upgrade with the other really hit the spot. The star of the show was the Buffalo chips appetizer: perfectly prepared crisps with light drizzle of sauce and bleu cheese. Less is more and they nailed it! Since we were driving and felt weary already, we didn't try their good selection of tap beers. I don't know if they have the best burgers in town, but we would come back for sure!
