Hire enough staff. Ordered online, big mistake, to pick up at counter inside the store. Store was locked! 650pm Wednesday night. Finally picked up my order at drive-thru. Fries cold, I just picked them up! Great food but the workers seem to be-understaffed and struggle to get one-car out in thirty minutes. Fast food??? Happened twice in a row ik yall are losing money so many people left read more

To begin, only 3 people working in the entire restaurant for the lunch rush? The wait for food was ridiculous!!! No napkins available anywhere. Paper towel dispenser in both bathrooms were empty and no hand dryers available. I ordered a Whopper and I heard the "preparer" yell it was the last one....and believe me, it tasted like it was left over from the day before. It was cold and the edges were hard! I ordered large french fries also. They were stuck together in one large greasy mass. And, not one french fry in the hole package was longer than 1 inch. Worst visit to a Burger King ever!!! Bad enough that I'll never go back to one. read more

Would give 0 starts if able. Drink was incorrect. Sandwich was on the wrong bun and had no sauce.

maybe don't pay ur ppl 11 dollars and they'd have enough staff to properly run the place ridiculously slow

Shaun was such a beautiful guy. We came in the wee hours of the night absolutely FAMISHED. And he sure as heck provided. Amazing energy, amazing service, impeccable work ethic. He single handedly made all our food fresh without us even asking. We gave him five big booms upon receiving our delicious food, and he darn tootin gave them right back. I think this location should GIVE HIM A RAISE!!! He deserves every ounce of recognition and every last penny this store has to offer. And to end it all off, he complimented both me and my friend and gave us some of the best fist bumps we had ever received. Never had a better experience at a BK, I expect this type of service from every other store for the rest of my life. read more

What a mistake coming here. It's not just the sloppy burgers or cold fries or flat Coke. Or that they forgot the napkins and the ketchup and the receipt. ...but when I returned and showed them a picture of the sloppy burger they gave me they became very unfriendly and confrontational about it and then took every second of about 20 minutes to find my receipt. Not only does this place suck but the management has a real chip on its shoulder. I don't often give low reviews but these iceholes deserve it. You suck. read more

Burger King - Gross - Burgers Near Me - East Lansing, Michigan

Completely grabbed my fry's without any gloves on and super long wait. Just nasty. Service was nothing special at all in my opinion.

The crispy chicken sandwich meal was inedible. The chicken was a dense chewy "patty" of "chicken" that was comparable texture to eating beef jerky. The fries were okay. read more

Burger King - Laughable chicken sandwich - Burgers Near Me - East Lansing, Michigan

Terrible. They were super understaffed, and when I went through the drive-thru (the menu and the screen were on) and they claimed that they couldn't serve us because of some technical issue and we can't get food because there was "nothing they could do about it." I won't be surprised if this location closes. Never again. read more

The last time I went to this location, I was waiting for my food in the drive-thru and looked inside to see a female employee with her hand down the front of her pants and scratching herself before grabbing my food and bagging it. Burger King corporate gave me some coupons because of the experience, but I wasn't going back. From what I've heard, things haven't gotten much better. If you really want Burger King, drive a little way to another location. I'm not sure how this one hasn't been shut down by the health department. read more

This is just the worst single Burger King I have ever been to. The lobby is closed so drive thru is the only option. We have been waiting in line 30 minutes and still don't have food. I could have butchered the cow, cooked the food, and made the meal myself by this time. I get that fast food help is in short supply but close the restaurant or shorten hours instead of giving terrible customer service. Finally just got our food and they didn't even give us everything we ordered. Please don't go here and save yourself time, gas money, and disappointment. read more

Don't, just don't. Save yourself a 20 minute wait just to place an order at the drive thru. Thats as your in front of the intercom waiting to speak your order. The drive through speaker has been broken for months now and it's like talking w 2 cups and a string. Huge hole in the drive way as well. Order correctness is hit or miss. Ive came in at different times of the day and it's always a delay and this was a thing prior to Covid. This in NO WAY is a slight to the ppl here working for minimum wage, this is an owners issue but not upkeeping their business and taking care of their property. Today was my last visit, Ive discovered another BK just over a Mike from this one. read more

By far the worst BK I have ever been to. Management is utterly incompetent and uncaring regarding customers. Of the three times I have visited this location, I have either received the wrong order or not received all of my order. The staff here is seemingly untrained in customer service and it shows. The employees working the drive-thru are both nasty and unable to comprehend orders. An absolute disaster of a "restaurant" that shouldn't be around too much longer at this rate. read more

look , I work fast food , so I get it. somedays arent as great as others , I come to this Burger King often & usually I get great service here! but today (6-23-24) I had my fiance drive & order , I'll say it was one of the more unpleasant trips & it was only the window person who made it that way & his name is Cody, we felt rushed , yelled at & heard him cussing through the intercom after our order. read more

This location has consistently been a bad experience for me and my friends, so much so that I made a Yelp account just to leave this review. They do not allow more than one order per car. I'm assuming it's to prevent people from placing a ton of orders with coupons but what it leads to is my friends and I driving around multiple times so that everyone can get a meal and use their one coupon per order. Their computer has crashed multiple times when I've been there and led to long wait times. They often are unable to print a receipt for your order. And there's one lady that works there that offers terrible customer service. She's been rude on multiple occasions such as when I initially asked to place a second order she said "Not in my drive through." Not something like - I'm sorry but we're unable to do that. She also closed the window on me and walked away immediately before I was able to ask for a receipt before I even knew their machine doesn't work. If it wasn't for their convenient location, I would never eat here again. I would recommend never coming with friends unless they don't want to use Burger King coupons. Additionally, don't come at night as they will likely find a way to inconvenience you. read more

Honestly ive been to some bad restraunts but this one by far is the biggest joke i have ever been to. The first time i went to this place i got horrible and rude service from an old lady and kinda just shook it off. Today a different lady quite literally yelled at me as i pulled up to the drive thru. Funniest part is food was ready before i even got to the window (2 whoopers) like ive heard of fast food but did you read the future or something? As i get to the window the rude ass lady shoved my order into my hand. I wish i was kidding but do not come here this place is a joke of a restraunt and honestly deserves to close. read more

People... that's get THE very important fact straight--this is an effing chain fast food restaurant. What are you expecting? Is it "how you want your steak cooked? " that's just funny!! Yes I waited a long time to get my food, yes the food was dry but so what?! !!!It's convenient anyway!! read more

Sadly this is not a good review. I didn't even get to order the food because I couldn't get past the poor service at the drive-through. I pulled up to the drive-through and I noticed that there were THREE different prices for chicken tenders. $1.69, $1.49, and $1.29. But that's not all. After I asked the attendant (with the attitude problem) on the window what the real price was, he told me they were 1.49. I questioned that because there were two other prices listed. He proceeds to tell me "Well I will check on the sign. They are $1.49. Do you want to order them?" So I politely declined. I called back to speak to a manager, and this same clown answers the phone claiming that he WAS the manager. I explained the situation to him. And then he said he would change the sign. By that timeI had lost my appetite. If that gentleman is the manager, then that restaurant has more problems than a drive-through window sign that has three separate prices on it. For shame. read more

Not one to write reviews on places, but I felt the need after this trip to BK. Rolled up to the drive through and the woman says "I'll be right with you", so we wait 5 minutes and she doesn't come back so we decide to go inside instead. There was about 5 customers in line and only three workers. One at the drive through, one cooking, and one at the cashier. So they were definitely understaffed not denying that, however, the two women taking orders were being very lazy. Instead of helping out the only man in the kitchen after they took the orders they just stood there and did nothing. We wanted to complain about how long it too to get our food but felt awful because the man in the back really was trying his best. read more

This location is just absolute ass. I went with my friends and they have a 1 order per car and then we went around again they said there computer shut down. It is so slow it sucks don't ever come here this place is bougha it takes 8 years to make the food go somewhere else it is a waste of time

I just waited in line at this food place for twenty minutes, to not get food at all. Fast food. Slow as hell. Are you kidding. Can't get fast food when someone that works here is personally conversing with a couple of vehicles ahead of you. Out of all the choices I had; I chose poorly this day! Who owns this restaurant. And tell me this person wasn't the manager! read more

Food served cold, drive thru worker openly rude and terrible attitude. Didn't receive all of my order. Worst burger king in Michigan.

Not a good place, they did not give me a receipt. Food was lukewarm. They didn't ask me if I wanted cream with my coffee or sugar. I ordered a combo meal with breakfast sandwich. I wanted to order an extra orange juice. I got my order and they said you can't order at the window. Terrible service. read more

Worst Burger King I've been to. Counter person didn't speak, place was practically empty, I was the only customer. She walked up to the register I wasn't standing at and just stood there until I gave her my order. She put the food on the tray and pushed it toward me without a word. I said what about the cups? She nodded back to the register and said they were there...got my cups and said, "you don't talk much!" No response. Walked across the very sticky floor and had a hard time finding a clean table. There was only one other table occupied, 1 pm on a Sunday afternoon. Doubt I will go back there again! read more

I literally don't ever do reviews but this place is horrible. Looks so run down I legit thought it was closed. Staff is rude, and saw the cashier (who was handling money) making fries without gloves or washing hands... actually asked for my money back at the window and didn't even take the food. Building is falling apart, weeds over growing in the parking lot. I understand they are probably understaffed but then maybe they should just close. Go to the frandor one AVOID this at all costs.. read more

If I could give a zero I would. Customer service by "Sam" is the absolute worst. If I were owner, I'd reconsider having her as a manager (I think she's a manager, I could be wrong). I'll be giving her manager and/or the owner a call to let them know about my experience tonight with Sam. Without going into detail, let's just say that she was incredibly rude and condescending with her snarky a$$ comments. If you're into BK, I'd visit a different store. read more

This is easily the worst Burger King I've been to. Horribly understaffed. The blonde at the window is rude and productivity is not a word they strive by there. 15 minutes for a burrito and small hash browns, with an INSIDE ORDER. This has been one of the worst experience I've had in a Burger King. I have worked at a different location for over 4 years. And never served any of my customers with this little care. When I first got there there were only 3 people working which I could totally understand they were over staffed. I was really nice I wanted to use 4 coupons the manager looking lady with the black hair and has a name tag of "Matt" said I could only use three so I asked if I could do two different transactions she said no so I said okay that's fine didn't say anything rude or anything. I wanted to customize my sandwiches because everyone in my family likes different things on their burger. She was rushing and looked super unpleasant. Then I wanted to add a patty to one of the sandwiches she charged me for it. She didn't give me a recite or anything I was watching them while they were making my food and I saw that most of the sandwiches they are making it before hand and keep them on heat chute which is super inappropriate because they are serving old food. Since I worked for the same company I know what's right and wrong. When she handed me my food she immediately walked away so I was like could I get some zesty Buffalo and honey mustard please she looked annoyed and came back to gave them to me and then when I asked for my cups she was like we make the drinks and I was like could I have my drinks and she looked annoyed again like I'm sorry I asked for the drinks I paid for. Before I left I double check because non of my food was marked as double. I said the extra patty is in the burger or ? And she said it is in the burger. I got home and to my surprise my nuggets were not there. Chicken sandwich was really sloppy and nasty and old looking and the burger that was supposed to be double was not double. It made me upset so I went back there. As soon as I walked in she looked at me and I told her that I was sorry but I need a refund. She looked so careless no apology nothing because she knew exactly what was messed up. I still explained to her what made me so unpleasant about my experience and all she said was okay one second. If you're working in a customer service job, and especially if someone is being nice even when you mess up their food the least you could do would be apologizing. She just handed me my money and walked away. I will never ever be going to this Burger King again and I will prevent my friends and family to go there either. Need a serious training. read more

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews on here, but we always have a pleasant experience at this BK. We get special order veggie burgers too, so it's usually a bit more complicated than regular orders, but they never complain and are always friendly.
