We went to the drive thru at about 230 in the afternoon on July 22, 2019. We were able to drive right up to menu and order, but the girl rushed us thru, so we only got to order for 1 of us. We were the only ones there, so we went straight to the window, we asked to add more items to our order , and were told in a tone that implied we were disturbing her "we can't add anything at the window". Uh, ok, and why not? Wouldn't that add to the revenue, and the daily sales? (Again, NO OTHER cars in drive thru, no one waiting, so I'm still questioning this) So I asked her why she rushed us thru ordering? She said "how do I know you weren't done?" With such attitude, I'm sure we were interrupting her busy day of not assisting customers and playing on her cell phone. She never once asked if that was all, or would this complete our order. I am assuming she wanted us to drive thru again to bump up their numbers. The food was good, and I have no complaints about that, but they lost out on additional revenue because she wouldn't add items at the window. She was irritated that we were there. Whenever I drive past BK, there is no one in parking lot, and maybe one car (if any) in the drive thru. They ask you to pay at window, then go wait out front so they appear to help customers faster, and the stats show fast service. It's the only way this store has remained open. We went and spent our $20 somewhere else. The receipt we were given is so faded you can barely read it. Otherwise I'd call her out by name. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT GOOD FOOD. read more

I had one of the worst experiences ever at this Burger King. On 11/12/25 around 11:30 AM, an older woman working the drive thru was extremely disrespectful. She shorted me 50 cents and when I politely asked about it, she became aggressive and verbally abusive. She called me extremely offensive names, including a racial slur and the "B-word." No employee should ever speak to a customer like that. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and management seriously needs to address it. I will not be returning until something is done. read more

I live 3 minutes by car from this location. My roommate & I went through the drive-thru ~ We ordered two whoppers & 2 medium onion rings. Leaving with our order, my roommate remarked that the onion rings smelled burnt. While they were not burnt, we got home to warm onion rings that had an off taste (Possibly from the oil) & both whoppers were cold. Pissed & tired from working a day, last thing I'm going to do is go back. I am going to do the survey and reaching out to corporate. I wish I could give this a 0 star. I have been here 3 weeks straight in the morning for breakfast and the place is understaffed which i understood and was always trying to be patient. Any time I asked a question the older Hispanic lady in the morning crew would get snappy, and act annoyed. I felt the need to leave an update to a review I left a few years ago. The meat in my double whopper was consistantly cold along with the fries when I arrived home only a few blocks away. Obviously someone in management is paying attention because this is no longer the case. The workers in the window are professional and friendly. Yes it's just fast food, so we shouldn't judge so harshly. But the flip side of that coin is that we've had your food before and we know exactly what to expect. The second best thing about fast food is supposed to be its consistency. (Best thing you ask? Low price, of course.) So when you're trapped in the fragrant town of Coalinga, where options are minimal, it would be nice to count on that familiar BK flava when grabbing a quick but hot road trip breakfast. I've had the BK breakfast sausage croissanwich a bajillion times, but until this location I'd never had one served to me burnt. Burnt, yet cold to boot. Ugh! And there was no line, just a total lack of care. BF actually fared worse when his breakfast burritos were frozen in the middle. They corrected the error when he complained (by tossing the burritos in a microwave, yum yum), but no apology or even remorse. Must happen daily. Stopped by this BK on the way back to SoCal. It's a little difficult to find compared to the other fast food joints located at this exit. Just be patient and go all the way down the strip. Very spacious and pretty clean. Service was friendly - they even walk your meal toward you after they call your number. The Big Fish sandwich was the bomb! The fish patty was fresh out the fryer and piping hot. The veggies were crispy, and bun was soft. Would definitely stop by again! read more

This is to correct the other reviews, this burger king Is located IN TOWN of Coalinga not the one of the interstate, the one of the interstate is on Dorris ave. And were it smells like cow witch is part of Coalinga too.and it's 13 miles from town... Sooo this Burger king is in town and not a bus stop it's well maintained and clean. Save Mart and Kmart are in walking distance and Walgreen's is across the street.... read more

For a fast food joint in a small town, it's actually pretty good. Sure there are misses here and there, but the employees are actually really friendly and seem to genuinely want to help you. Also, extra kudos to them for being able to handle the daily rush from the SF-LA busses. All in all, pretty satisfied, and will definitely be back :) read more

My girlfriend and I stopped here on our way to Southern California. It's about the halfway point, and the perfect pit stop area. I know you don't come to Burger King expecting anything close to "High Standards". I ordered the two sausage burrito combo, with a small coke. When I sat down with my food, I went to pick up one of the burritos and the wrapper was cold. Not cool, but almost freezing. Instead of taking the hint, I un-wrapped the wrapper and bit into the burrito. It was disgusting; nothing like biting into burrito with freezing cold filling. I spit it out, and kind of just stared at my gf, thinking to myself "Are you serious?" I take the two frozen burritos up to the counter and explained the situation to the employee. No apology of any kind. I was only told that they would heat it up for me. She brought the burritos back to my table, after being nuked. They were edible this time, but now I always have that association with Burger King breakfast. Obviously they don't know how to properly heat up food, nor making the customer feel any form of importance. Stopped here for food on way to San Fran. Worst experience EVER! Paper sign on drive thru that they were closed. Then came around to door and same sign but people inside. Proceeded in the door there were about 4people in line. 30min later we were ordering. Horrible slow service. Food ok I mean its Burger King ..they had signs everywhere that they gave free ice cream to kids but guess what..they were out if ice cream. The whole thing took about 45 min for French toast sticks. We stopped here on the way from LA home to grab a bite and hit the restrooms. If I would have went to the restroom first due to the horrible condition I would not have ordered food here. This place is obviously way understaffed and barley functioning. It was about 8pm on a Sunday and it wasn't even crowded, but the place is in shambles. The service is horrible. We had to wait like five minutes to even order. Put in our order and run to the bathroom which is disgusting. It's a large bathroom with like five or six stalls, most of them were clogged there was garbage everywhere. Thank god they had soap, but both hand dryers were non functioning. Go back out our food is not ready. Go to fill my drink and the machine is broken so have to wait from on of the three peeps to come by to fill my cup. We waited for what seemed like an eternity to get our food. When the burgers were finally done they want to give us the fries that were sitting there when we arrived, I asked for a new batch as I thought for sure I heard the one gal tell the other gal to make some more those were soggy. So they never got rid of the old ones. Just probably gave them to someone after us or in the drive though. The rest of the store was a mess. Behind the counter there was papers/food all over the dirty floor. I probably should have just left or got a refund at this point, because then I'm worried about getting food poisoning. They did have gloves on that made me fell a little better, the one gal went from the register to help the one food preparer and she put fresh gloves one so thankfully there was that. I did not get sick, but I will definitely never go there again. You can tell when a franchise owner takes pride in their store and this is not one of them. read more
