I have to agree with the other review. Since this place opened I don't know why but it's the worst Burger King I've ever experienced. Every time I go there I have to ask for a receipt. I have had so many excuses for not getting a receipt that I could write a book on it. On the receipt, it says KEEP THIS RECEIPT FOR A FREE WHOPPER. How are you supposed to know that you're entitled to a free whopper, chicken royale or Veggie Bean Burger if you never got the receipt in the first place. No one seems to know what a regular drink is either. If you buy a regular drink and regular fries after completing the brief survey you can get one of the above offers. Not only am I told every time that I have to buy something before I get the free food, I have to remind them that I can read and they can see the money in my hand. On the trays, if you are given one, there's a 2 for £4 mix and match Whopper or Chicken Royale if you install the New Mobile App. Again there's been times when I've not been offered a tray. On one occasion I was told they were washing them. When asked if they could bring the drink over to my table the guy refused. Another customer helped me. Please and thank you are not part of most servers vocabulary. I fill in a feedback form every time I go in. I have said the same things over and over again. The service is too slow, sluggish, etc. The tables aren't always cleaned. The toilets are inappropriate. How can they have two toilets: one for men and the other for the majority of their customers; disabled, women and nappy changing. They are usually filthy, wet unhygienic and people waiting to go to WC bang on the doors. When it first opened anyone outside the door could see in as there was a gap around the door. The lock isn't safe. It can be opened if someone bangs on the door. Turnover of staff is very high and nobody seems to agree on most things. I was overcharged for tea and chips last week and when I produced a receipt dated a few days previously where the bill was 50p cheaper I was told that's because I wasn't paying for the free Chicken royale. Then someone else said that the deputy manager who served me had got it wrong and she'd left anyway. Trying to use contactless card is a nightmare because they usually can't get it to work. I got the receipt one day and it actually said that it wasn't activated. Customer service is way below acceptable standard. I bought waffle and ice cream and was given cream. I didn't notice till afterward. They have run out of things before and I've had to remind them about 'stock control' to which the manager told me I was trouble. One plus is friendly security and manager. The other is the free WIFI. If they could just get the Customer Services right it would be a better place to go with it's comfortable seats, interesting menu, convenient venue. read more
