Wouldn't even talk to me I mentioned we already had a table. I understand there was the lunch rush, and we would have happily waited but that waitress was insanely rude to everyone and she didn't have to yell at the customers and myself for someone her age. We got seated after a long wait and she ended up being our waitress but that interaction left a sour taste to the overall experience with otherwise good food.

CASH ONLY. Great…read moreservice and food. Parking lot is small and food takes awhile to come out though. The lobster roll is surprisingly good. It's packed with cold lobster with green onions and mayo inside a perfectly buttery toasted split top bun. I normally don't like cold lobster, but this was quite good. It was about $30. The hot dogs were really good on a split top bun as well. The fried fish (haddock) sandwich was good and the fish was larger than the bun. Not overloaded with tartar sauce either. Strawberry milkshake was great with fresh ice cream. You order on the left side window and then they shout your number over the intercom and you pick up on the right side window.

The first day we went here, I got an egg and cheese on sourdough and was shocked to see that it was half of a slice of bread with 1 egg (I'm quite petite by the way)! The lobster wasn't in any kind of butter sauce as had been advertised, it was just a little plain lobster meat and not much of it. The fries were horribly soggy. I tried to revive them in my toaster over once we got home but nothing helped. My parter's fried scallops were the worst he's had. He is pretty tolerant but even he said: "well we tried it and now we can write this place off our list". So don't waste your money or time on Joe's.

Crispers were a little stringy and buffalo wings were also a little tough Quesadilla (chicken and bacon) Pretty huge portion, 8 slices, good to share with someone, pretty heavy to eat though Overall, pretty good portion for price point but the food itself is just...beige and fried. He saw the cashier was busy but had to point out to me he doesn't get slices, he just cooks. Bull crap. I've gone there for the last five years since I've been home and had my slices given out by the cooks more than the cashier. This was also right after he helped the woman in front of me who I was with. Apparently team work, respect for fellow coworkers, and customer service are not in this sh!t bird's wheelhouse. If you hate helping people then go to the back and wash dishes. Or just kill yourself and do the town a favor. He eventually decided to work and do his job but went out of his way to be rude and mouthy while doing it. Pathetic excuse for pizza. More than half the time it sucks which is why I hadn't been there in a while. Save your money and hassle and go to Bennington Pizza House down the road. If this place burned down I would declare it a new holiday in Bennington. Judging by the retarded malcontents they hire, they'll probably do it themselves by accident. Horrible service and horrible pizza more than half the time. Second worst calzone I've ever had. Better cheeseburgers for the money at the Stewart's. Every entree I've had there was overpriced and crap. Can't believe this place is in business. Surviving by the patronage of hicks that don't know any better.

While we were there we heard the bartender scold a male customer stating, "First you say I talk to much and now you say I don't talk enough, make up your f**ing mind." She sounded completely upset and put us on high alert. Everything calmed down after that, but it was a strange first visit and makes me not want to sit at the bar. I read after the fact on Yelp a review talking about a female bartender being very rude, wonder if it is the same person. Another thing that was off-putting was it smelled like someone was burning a scented candle or the plug in air fresheners. Yuck! Will give it another go for sure, fingers crossed.
