The ordering process was fast but it took a pretty long time to get my food, which almost made me late. The food was hot and good, up to Mickey D's normal standards. I ordered and paid with the app and told her I did not need a receipt (which I don't see why they want to give you a paper receipt if you paid with the app because you're already going to get a receipt in the app and to your email.) She insisted I stopped at the first window still trying to give me the receipt and when I told her I didn't need it. She acted like I had done something wrong and and then shook her head, rolled her eyes walked up front where the girl was putting drinks together and started making fun of us. We ordered Diet Coke, but we're given regular Coke and had to go back in to get the issue resolved. The only reason I gave it two stars is because girl that was filling our order was trying her best to be nice regardless of how the older lady acted (it was not the lady that normally is taking orders at the window.) this was Thursday evening, April 30.

Food was okay aside from being smashed from aforementioned woman using my sandwich as a cushion for her hand as she leaned over to grab some turkey, leaving a handprint in my sandwich I could still see when I got home.. Very unpleasant experience in a place I've been going to for most of my life with zero complaints.

The gf liked her burger. It could have used more of the featured ranch and bbq sauce. The fries... Neither of us cared for them. Obviously hand made, but almost too thin and too greasy. We'd both opt for a different side next time. To each our own though. Almost every small town along this stretch of I-80 has a pub & grill. The menus vary a little, but are very similar in a lot of aspects. The quality of service and the cooks make the biggest differences. The Chuckwagon hit five stars in some aspects of both. Work on those fries and the flavor of the chili (horribly bland) and this review would have been five stars. I'm going to emphasize this again. She asked what dressing? What are your choices? She indicated a house dressing. Ok, what is that? She said" I don't know, I'm new, just started working here." Now I'm waiting for her to get info. Not happening. So I asked a fellow working the grill. He explained the dressing. She still standing there. "Take that as a training moment." Also ordered 2 tacos. They had a teaspoon on beef, just like the taco salad. They are located inside the Flying J which I love!! The ladies working there are absolutely awesome. Ambiance is typical travel center. Clean restroom and plenty of parking. Thank goodness for the fresh Taco bowl.
