We devoured the rest. The pizza was yum. For what you can find in HK, this was a good one. Cheese and tomato sauce tasted like Stateside pizza on a cracker-like crust. The ribs were falling off the bone. One quarter of the ribs was more bones than meat, kinda sad. The burger is as tall as ones head. We shared it , but I was the one who ate most of it. It's really a burger to be eaten in layers or with an unhinged jaw.

If you do not know how to go to this place, notice that it is located right next to Butterfly On Hollywood Boutique Hotel. It is just around the corner. This is an Italian restaurant and its burgers taste like heaven! I have to say that it is among the same level as the Burgeroom in Causeway Bay but slightly fancier than just a burger joint. Since its alcohol license is still under application period. You can now bring your own drinks. (7-11 is just close by if you don't mind people looking at you weird). The interior design is rather cozy with red bricks on the wall and wooden stools next to the bar. It is definitely a nice place to chill with your friends and colleagues. On the menu there are over a dozen of different burgers and the price range is between HKD$100 to HKD$200. At first I was rather taken back by the price but after trying it I would say I was rather pleased with it. I tried the Number 1 Burger mainly because I did not want to spend that much and I was not sure about its quality since it was new. It was made of Wagyu beef, cheese and relish. Later it was served on a rather huge chopping board and I was surprised how big this burger was! The paddy was juicy and very thick with nice tenderness. The buns were too very delicious. Overall I am definitely coming back in a month to try out other dishes!

Looks like it's known for its Angus beef from "humanely fed" cows. I ordered the "steak" Burger which really a fresh Burger patty with the carbonara shake. Great Burger. The price is right. I also went to the one at Harbour Terminal which offered a window seat with the panoramic night harbour view. And for the same price, that's a deal.

I ordered the all-American cheeseburger and upgraded my fries to chili fries. The fries were awesome--it's hard to find fries this good. The burger wasn't as good as the fries, but decent. I liked that the onions were diced on the burger. I would go back, but I wouldn't come clambering back. It's also a bit expensive--the burger, fries, and drink were $235. If I'm getting a burger, I'd like it to be more affordable.

The dim lighting and bench seating creates this ambience of eating outdoors in the 50s as a fever dream, and much of this place feels like a 50's burger joint, from the quirky candy jars, the striped tray sheets and strawsatop the shake station, to the polished (steel?) napkin holders and trays, and the crinkle cut fries (ugh. Not a big fan of those) I ordered a American cheeseburger lunch set, with came with a drink- I ordered an Arnold Palmer which they mixed in house, and a side of crinkle cut fries (again, not a huge fan). The Arnold Palmer was decent- nice big glass, with a generous helping of lemon juice, and a tea strong enough to not be overpowered by the lemon. The fries are well seasoned, and crunchy, but as with crinkle cut fries, the texture can vary quite a bit between French fry. The cheeseburger was great! They used a bold, but fragrant thousand island dressing as it's main sauce, with plenty of onions, and pickles. The patty itself was tender and moist, and the burger managed to actually be somewhat smoky! Considering how I only paid HK$99 for this meal in Central, not a bad deal. Might come back and try their shakes the next time around.

Chef's Choice is part high end butcher, part deli, part wine store, part all things meat. I actually go in to get a mediterranean sandwich (all veggie on a fresh baguette) and a cup of soup to take home. They are always really fresh, flavorful and hot. The carrot soup last night was really delicious! They do not have any place for you to sit and eat, but it is a order and take away spot. Whether you are looking for some good cuts for a BBQ or a weekly delivery of chicken/salmon filet/beef, Chef's Choice seem like a prime spot to pick up your proteins. They have a fresh case of meats and there is also some they have prepared and prepackaged up for take away in their frig. Go grab a sandwich one day and try them out for yourself.

If you can spring for it the NZ lamb chops are great. I usually end up ordering from their sandwiches though. The Cubano is surprisingly good and the mustard they put in it makes it almost authentic. Their Philly, however is not authentic but a pretty decent steak sandwich with cheese. I've had their hot dogs as well, which are pretty good too. The Bacon-Jack is pretty self explanatory bacon with pepper jack and tasty.

However, they've since moved to a bigger space so I'm ok with sharing my not so secret place. I've tried almost everything on the menu and basically everything there is good. The burgers though-they have burgers with chicken, which doesn't count but are still delicious. Why come to a burger place though and not order beef? The beef here is fresh and delicious and it's cooked medium rare-medium. I only eat burgers at that level if I trust the beef to be high quality. I always get the burger here at that level. Price wise, compared to what you can get at other burger places it's just...you can't compare. While other places have a quality burger you pay-what you get here for the price is ridiculous. If you think that's subjective then they have a set for 68 bucks carry out during lunch: burger, fries, drink. As for burgers, I had the "trailer trash burger" and that was really good. I appreciate the very light brioche bun that they used, though coating it in flour for a burger seems like a pretty bold move. The slaw was nice and crunchy, which added to the mushy texture of their chilli, and the beef patty, while small according to some yelper's standards seem reasonably sized considering the price and where you are geographically (Beef is really expensive here). The fries were crunchy and well seasoned. I did also grab a few fries from my friend's order of chilli fries, and while the chilli tastes nice, you can really taste the lack of Cajun spices. I also feel slightly betrayed that they used velvita instead of cheddar despite calling it cheddar chilli fries. Otherwise, this place is great, and I'd definitely come again, though I might just have a regular Soda the next time around.
