My husband went to burger box earlier tonight in Bedford off 157 for supper. Ordered a cheese Burger with no onions and no lettuce, extra crispy tater tots and a milkshake he paid $10 and $0.45 for this order. When he got home he realize the burger just had lettuce and onions on it nothing else and the tater tots weren't well done the only thing that was good was shake. I was sleeping at this time so when I got up needless to say I made him some supper from home. A couple hours or so later I called the store and explain to them what happened. The manager told me that I needed to bring the burger in and the tater tots and either tonight or tomorrow to either get a refund or replacement. I told him that wasn't convenient for me I've already been up there once I shouldn't have to drive back up there again and I'm not digging through the trash like a dog to get a burger that's been sitting in there for 2 hours under potato peelings and me juice. It's not that I wanted my money back I wanted a credit so he could get his Burger and tots the way they way he them, he would buy the shake. The manager informed me that he couldn't do that and that I could call the owner of the company I said he could call me. He says politely (scared I think) well he doesn't like that, you have to call him so he gave me his phone number and I called him and left a message. He called me back and I explained the situation to him told him I have my receipt and he told me I had to bring the receipt and the burger back up to the restaurant I told him I wasn't going to do that I wasn't digging through the trash like a dog it wasn't going to happen. This man doesn't even live in the HEB area and he rude. He said to me I'm not giving you your money back and hung up on me before I could even explain to him that I didn't want my money back, all I wanted was a replacement on the burger and the tater tots the way that they were ordered, he would purchase a shake because he drank it. I will never ever go to this burger box again he told me it wasn't a franchise but I'm going to look into that too. All of my HEB family, PLEASE CHECK YOUR ORDERS IF YOU DO GO THERE. If I ever did it again it would just be for the ice cream because it's blue Bell. Burger box used to be Fred's burger box and he used to write the order on the white bag and they were always correct, hot and fresh. They don't do that anymore maybe they should go back to that system never had any problems them. read more

Been going here most of my lifetime. Average burgers. Nothing spectacular, but not the worst either. Burgers are slightly dry for my linking, however it seems I'm the only one who feels like this after reading all the reviews so that's probably just me. However, their shakes are THE BOMB! read more

Everytime I come here I am disappointed. I am expecting good hangover-curing diner food and what I get is nowhere near that. Everything seems to be made from frozen packaged products from the fries to the meats. I am not expecting gourmet but a little homecooked flavor would be nice. The service is not great (at the drive thru they tell your your total and give you your food, nothing else). I am not fond of their crinkle fries either. I think the best bet here is their blue bell ice cream products, can't beat those. read more

just OK. Tried here because I got a grand opening coupon. The food quality was about on par with cafeteria dining. The fries had no salt. The burger patty was pretty thin. Although it wasn't bad, if given the choice, I would eat at whataburger instead. The do have good chocolate shakes though. read more

A decent place. I wouldnt go out of my way for it. I like the 99 cent corn dogs. The burgers are average.

I cannot tell you how good it is to have Real, crispy bacon on a bacon cheeseburger! Loved the fries also. Never had a bad burger here in the half dozen times ive been here. read more

Order taker/servers nice enough, but need to give each customer attention and not keep leaving the counter for other things like the drive thru, etc....Was told earlier they had salsa or the nachos, but didnt have any when we came and ordered..Patty melt was good...nachos with melted cheese and beef was just so-so.and kids grilled cheese was pretty good...Place was really clean.. read more

Buyer Beware! In a word, I was disappointed. I picked some dinner up last night at the newly remodeled Burger Box. I used to go here all of the time. They have always had bad service, but the food was good. Last nights meal was not very good. The food was super salty, and they double charged me! When my fiancé called to let them know, they said that it had been happening a lot lately. The person she spoke to said to bring a bank statement proving we were double charged, and they would refund the cash. In addition to not refunding our money, they told us we would have to wait a few days to check their accounts. Does this really happen in 2013? I honestly can't remember the last time this was an issue. You lost another customer today Burger Box. And I was one of the few who claimed the hassle was worth the food. Next time you want a decent burger, do yourself a favor and go down the street a bit. read more

The food was passable but the burger patty was a little too thin and bland could use some seasoning. The fries were a little over done. The prices are kinda steep for what you get i payed 8.60 for a combo here but i could get a more filling combo at whataburger for the same or cheaper. On the plus side the atmosphere is terrific if there is an improve ment in the food i will be back read more

This place is okay. They do serve blue bell ice cream which is amazing. Food taste ok. Drive through takes a little long. Sometimes my 30 minute lunch break barely enough to pick up food here (I work half a mile away). read more

You guys are THE BEST! We were left in the lurch by a food truck that had been scheduled for two weeks to come to our campus. They didn't show up or call, leaving 70 students without lunch. Without hesitation, you interrupted your very busy lunch service to make about 90 burgers and fries for our students. You could have said no. You could have just done a mediocre job. Instead, you made each of our burgers with the same time and attention that you give ALL of your food. There was no skimping on ingredients or quality. For an order that large, that was nothing short of REMARKABLE. You saved the day for our kids. Your kindness today will not soon be forgotten by anyone here at Treetops School. Thank you! read more

Guess we just lost one of our favorite places to go get a burger. Seems that the owner is trying to cut back on electricity. Last two times we were there it was 84 degrees in the place and fans blowing all over the dining area. Got 2 scoops of blue bell and it was "soft serve". Guess they turned the freezer temp up to save more electricity! Makes me wonder the temp they are keeping the meat and produce!! Guess I won't be wasting any more money here. read more

This place has gone way downhill. Ordered the mushroom burger as I have in the past. Good in the past but not today. Burger was small, meat was thin, very dry, and tasteless. Mushrooms were old as was the tomato. No cheese at all. I suppose you must have to request cheese. Fries were mediocre at best. Could not even eat my burger. Will not be going back. read more

The burger patties are delicious! The only thing I would want to change is the bun, but it works. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was relatively busy but definitely worth a little wait. I love fried okra, and it was great! The staff that day was also very friendly and came to our table to ask if everything was ok. Bathrooms were clean, that's always a plus. First trip since the remodel job, burger box has gone the way of the chains. They will cook a box full of patties in the morning and serve them all day. So you get a hamburger that they "just made" . However, even mcdonalds will hit the microwave for 15 seconds to give you the impression that you have a hot burger, not so at the box. I was getting my oil changed and it was lunch time. I was feeling a bit hungry so I asked the guys if Burger Box was good. I don't know why I trusted the opinion of the guys at a oil change place that probably eats fast food 7 days a week. I am a bit of a food snob and usually stay away from fast food. Well I tried it out and it was nothing to write home to mom about. They make it to order and it's fresh but man was it greasy and the meat tasted something like Jack N the Box. I would rather have Whataburger. It's too bad I expected more from a place that has been around for so long. read more

I like both of the burger box restaurants in Euless. To me, their burgers are some of the best in the area and both restaurants make a similarly delicious burger. When I want a burger I want it simple with cheese, basic veggies and mustard because it's all about the flavor of the meat. Burger Box will not disappoint and is one of my favorites and in my opinion, a good bit above any regional or greater chain. For for fast food style burger places I give it 5 stars. read more

I can't believe this place passes a health inspection. It is so dirty. The threshold of the doorway is BLACK with something that looks like tar and it trails in to the dining area. The floor, the baseboards and walls are dirty. My son and grandchildren were the only customers and they still got our order wrong. How can you mess up 2 shakes and two malts? But they did. I can't rave enough about how delicious the food is at Burger Box, but I can say without a doubt that those amazing burgers lose a little bit of their yum when the service at this establishment is so terrible. I mean the rudest teenage girls who could care less about service. Every time I go to get a burger at BB I always regret it for just a second when I have to encounter these ladies.
