But last we were in the owner appeared to have instructed the wait staff to come and tell me that outside water bottles were not allowed in the restaurant. I mean it was warm, I have a condition I am battling that requires constant hydration and so I always have a 16 or 20oz water bottle in my hand. I eat out probably 500 times a year for the last say 25 years so say more than 10000 eat outs and have never been hassled about drinking water I had in process to stay healthy, so this is kind of an extreme outlier to me. We haven't been back since and likely won't ever go back even though we live in the neighborhood, since it just so destroyed the vibe to be hassled over a 50 cent bottle of water. We generally tip 30 to 40% even on $100 plus bills so it is just in my view a dumb business decision to hassle over something like that and lose what I would guess is $2500 in revenue from this customer a year. For sure the owner can run the business however he wants, but doubt the hassling behavior is increasing revenue for him.

There's so much customization involved in making your burger, and all of the toppings and sauces sound amazing. I normally get some combo of goat cheese (so tangy and creamy and perfect in burgers), coleslaw, hot cherry peppers, grilled pineapple, sauteed mushrooms, jalapeños and/or tomato. My go-to sauces are Little B's BBQ sauce (which has a little chipotle for a nice kick), Jamaican jerk sauce, and roasted garlic mayo. I always get the brioche bun even though it has a tendency to fall apart, resulting in a deteriorating burger that looks really sad after two to three bites. The wings are tasty and the skin is nice and crispy. The maple habanero wings could've used more sauce, but the Jamaican jerk wings were spicy and flavorful. I'm a faithful fan through and through. Now bring some of that customization to more burger joints in NYC!

Give Luis a raise cus he was running the whole floor and I counted atleast 4 other workers, one of them a tall blonde man who kept going in and out of the bathroom or back room the whole time. So while Luis is taking everyone's orders, checking in on the tables, and putting the orders into the system at the bar, I'm not sure what that other man was doing...I observed him just taking up space. So yeah big up to Luis on his work ethic! It was such a good time there as he came out with our cake to sing happy birthday to our guest! Drinks were good tho too. I do wish the tables and surfaces of this establishment were cleaner, however. We had sticky matter and spots on the table.
