Elmwood Dental Group make visiting the dentist an extremely pleasurable experience. More recently, my four year-old son fell face first onto a bench while visiting the Strong Museum of Play. With a quick call to Elmwood Dental, they had us in office in less than an hour. Their staff are so amazing with the little ones! Dr. Chris made his x-ray super painless, and as much fun as a four year-old can have getting an x-ray on a tender tooth. Dr. Comfort even gave out her cell number in case he had an issue over the weekend, while the office was closed. Additionally, I want to add that Kayla, the hygienist who worked on my two young boys, made it so fun for them, it seemed like a playdate. Same goes with the filling that Dr. Comfort performed on my older son. He was genuinely enjoying himself and having fun the whole time. I love this practice and would recommend it to anyone in need of dental care. Which is everyone, really. My family has only been going here for about a month, but already the staff feel like family. I called and they got me in fast to examine me. Dr C was so professional and kind in our first meeting, he and his team our compassion it and never made me feel embarrassed about me teeth. He truly is exactly where he belongs. Rosanna the receptionist has become such a pleasure to talk with, always pleasant and full of energy. She works with you for the best available appointments. I was told they would give me a call back because I didn't have an appointment and it was a busy day. The call was returned in a timley manner and it was not the same person who I spoke to earlier. V examined my teeth, explained the issues and gave me the best options (Very Professional). He then handed me over to two lovely young ladies, both with the gentlest touch and tones. They photographed, checked my gums and each individual teeth was measured and logged. I have a condition called Bell's Palsy and even with all that action in my mouth I was extremely comfortable. The following day I had to get some medication. However due to the business and the Thanksgiving holiday I believe it was forgotten.I went back the following day to collect it and was told by the pharmacist they have nothing for me. I called the office and spoke to another lady who not only apologized repeatedly. She assisted me even staying on the line till the prescription was sent. I asked them then how much the appointment was and they told me it was a free consultation only to get there and be charged for a comprehensive visit would not even a basic visit was done. The doctor was in and out of the room within minutes and left charting to his assistant. I told the front desk that it was a consultation and of course the woman didn't know what I was talking about even though she talked to me that morning. I paid in since I had the doctor's email I emailed the doctor let him know what was going on he said he'd give me the money back. He never did a month goes by I email again he ignores the email. Finally I get in touch with the bank after I show them proof. The bank pays me back. Once the bank gets in touch with the dentist that is when they get back to me. I shouldn't have to call the bank to get my money or be ignored or waste my time to come in for a money grab. You're not even able to make your own appointments they tell you when you can and can't come. Not accommodating, nobody knows what they're talking about, they will ignore you if they owe you money. It was an experience I could do without. When looking for a dentist you want to make sure you have faith and trust and if they can accommodate a consultation or bill you for the correct services from the start, You have to question Do you trust them with the rest!

Now I need to pay an orthodontist to fix and complete treatment, doubling my cost and time investment. I recommend going to an actual orthodontist rather than a dentist playing the part of an orthodontist. Based on my experience, you would have a better chance of good results and it will likely be cheaper too! 7/20/23 UPDATE: Linden Oaks Dental has formally offered me a portion of my money back in order to remove this review. 9/14/23 UPDATE: Went to court to seek a partial refund in the amount it will cost me to complete treatment. Dr. Dvonch and his attorney were there, but not Dr. Valerio - the person that conducted treatment. 9/20/23 UPDATE: They are now refusing to provide all of the medical records after three separate requests.
