I guess I really expected there to be a large selection of meats. When we went there were a few things, but nothing that really wowed us...also, what they did have was kind of on the spendy side. Not sure if we hit them at a bad time and they had low supply or if this is the norm. They also had coolers of frozen foods that you could meal prep. Things like okra and other veggies. Also, they did have some meat rubs and sauces that were kinda original. We'd come back and check it out again if we are in the area and possibly buy something so we could try it out next time....but, I'd want to be in the area .... I probably wouldn't go far out of my way to swing by here.

That being said, this location is still really good. It may appear a little scary on the outside, they could definitely use a remodel including a dab of paint, and once you get inside it has the look and feel of a place that could use an overhaul. But, I would put this out there, this is the grocery store equivalent of a dive bar. Produce section isn't enormous, but they have everything you would need and the prices are upwards of 1/2 that of the other local places. Typical grocery store items through the middle, canned foods, boxed foods, etc, you know what you'll find in a grocery store. Where these guys really shine is their meat department. Great quality and really good prices. Always able to find some good options for cooking for the week. Highly recommend this place if you are anywhere in the area .... especially for their meat. Side note, if you are looking for bakery, this location is a little limited on their offerings (compared to the other two that I've been at).

Very informative and fun to chat with. She made us welcome and offered some neat ideas of how she uses the wine jellies as a meal base in cooking! Their wines were nice, not overly sweet (a couple sweet options) we opted for a wonderful Riesling. I don't usually go white but theirs was bright, refreshing and not much tannin. I purchased it to go with a seafood dish! Can't wait to open it! Tip: no food or snack tray options available. They don't have signature glasses to buy.
