Love Rodeo Drive designer stores. One of my favorite stops is Burberry. They always have new items and limited edition items. This store is beautiful, spacious and well stocked. Great selection always. I saw this green purse that I absolutely loved but it was a bit over my budget for a purse that probably I won't use as many times and will collect dust in the closet. Epic fail. I went through Burberry's website to schedule an appointment in advance to have my beautiful trench coat refreshed. Followed Burberry's instructions and received confirmation emails. Arrived on time, and they didn't even know about the appointment at the store. I received a long-winded DMV-like story about the breakdown in communication between corporate and the local store. Blah, blah. Excuses. Burberry's emails and texts completely contravene this store's ignorance. Who to believe? The fella who helped me needed time to some research about this refresh request. Not sure who he called, but he stepped away for a few minutes, and then returned. He offered to "refresh" the coat for $200. That would require them to ship it to New Jersey. Why can't I do that? I don't know. I was also told they could not fix one of the toggles. It could take 3 weeks or 8 weeks to complete the job. They couldn't say for sure how long. Seriously, a circus here. Now, this falls short of what I expect of a storied brand like Burberry. I own a number of expensive Burberry items and have been a lifelong customer. But this is the end of the Burberry road for me. The brand is a far cry from what it was, there is little customer support and people who work at this location either don't know the product or the company fails to communicate with its employees. The brand itself is fantastic, but not the store manager! I was greeted there; cool! After talking with the store manager, I told her I wanted the item in size Xs and M and would browse third-floor men's collections. But guess what? Even though I mentioned that to her, I had been waiting for more than 20 minutes without assistance on the third floor. The manager came after more than 20 minutes, saying, "I caught up with two other ladies." Wow! The two ladies were white, and she, the manager, decided to help them first, based on their race. After realizing those ladies did not intend to buy anything, she came to me. Lol. I was her second option because I'm not caucasian. Those two ladies were just window shopping while I was ready to buy. On the first floor, I told her I wanted specific sizes for my planned gift. But nope, no assistance for a person who ready to buy. Oh after contacting customer service, they said they were short staff, even you were short staff, as manager that's your communication skills need to shine. You as store manager could tell us as customer, "oh I'll be back soon, just browse first upstairs "and maybe offer drink to buy our time? BEWARE DONT SHOP HERE THIS REVIEW IS LONG OVERDUE Don't recommend this place or the brand , first and foremost one sandal ripped completely after having one repair originally had a repair 9/10/23 for repair for a rip in sandals got them back December, 2023 On February 14,2024 the sandal had completely broken. I stopped by Beverly Hills location for a repair the associate Anthony looked at my sandal and told me repairs take long I'd be better off using GORILLA GLUE ! I told him that made no sense and I'm sure he was only saying this because I am black and a woman. The manager comes out and tried to blame this on "wear and tear" when that is just ridiculous it is clearly defective. Only the right sandal had completely come apart and I had just gotten then back. Horrible customer service and racist place also. I had my own repair ticket with my information and Anthony was trying to contact my ex for the repair of my shoes when he was told not to and I was the only one on the repair ticket. Unorganized, unprofessional, racist establishment of you ask me. Will never shop with Burberry brand or this store. Also they charge me for repair when the slide has completely broken within months. Bought a 3k coat for my step dad and it was too small. Went to get an exchange and didn't even take the tags off. It's brand new and was with us for a few days: They said we used it and they can't exchange it for a larger size. WTF?! Absolutely bull shit. Spending that kind of money on a coat for a gift and it can't fit him. We have the receipt and tags on the coat and they won't exchange it. These two people accused us of wearing it lol. Was here last Thursday night. This store is YUUUUUGE! It has multiple floors. And has a ton of inventory. For the most part, they had most of what I wanted / needed in stock. The employees here appear to be lazy or Burberry has an inventory control problem. Burberry's website stated that this location has the item and the size that I needed, but the associate just showed us a rack of items and said they don't have what I was looking for in stock. I asked for the manager, but she just asked if the associate had checked the store's stock - which she didn't. When the manager asked the associate to check - she came back without the item. I later called the Burberry customer service line and they said the item was in fact in stock at this location! For an item that costs several hundred dollars a company and a store should have better ways of locating merchandise. read more

Really bad experience here shopping on a beautiful day. Love Burberry as a brand, but highly recommend avoiding this location due to poor management we encountered. Came about 2 weeks ago on Sunday to purchase some clothes for my children. Their was a few teenagers acting around, being loud, and going around the store coughing on people, pretending to be funny during this Covid pandemic isn't funny at all. This guy came up to myself and my girl as well coughing around us and we responded very pissed off to this guy and his friends afterwards. A heated escalation then erupted. The manager was no where to be seen. Not doing anything to de-escalate. Finally, instead of throwing out the teenagers from the store or calling the cops, decides to lecture us on keeping our voices down and not yelling. Keep in mind the coughing that occurred during Covid and these teenagers were 5 people barking and threatening and starting the confrontation. Highly recommend to Burberry corporate to hire more experienced, well trained managers here. You never know when a situation can arise in a retail environment. Experience is needed. The lady manager working on November 22 was very inexperienced.. Mid handeled the situation very poorly. In the meantime, I recommend customers order online on Burberry's website or visit another location in Los Angeles. read more

Update - 03/31/2018 Alex the store manager helped me and gave me first class service. Just walked out with a dressy shirt. The person that helped me was unprofessional and sloppy. It's took him over 15 min to bring me the size I wanted and when he brought the shirt it was dirty. When I mentioned to him that it took him another ten minutes. I gave him my card and he charged me took him also ten minutes. Almost 45 minutes to buy a shirt! That's crazy. I asked the guy to iron the shirt and he gave me a story that the equipment is not working now. So I walked out with 350 dollar shirt not ironed. Basic service in this kind of stores. read more

Burberry will always be my go to brand, and this store helps solidify that place for me. This store is not only in a prime location, but also is one of the nicest looking store fronts on Rodeo. Whenever I ask a sales associate for help they go above and beyond. Fun fact: Burberry lets you stock check items on their website to find them in store. I've done this three times already and every time the item was actually in store (unlike a more expensive company I've tried this with). I was able to track down a sale item this way and they actually mailed it to me. Also my favorite part about the Rodeo Drive store (not 100% sure if this is company wide) is that the store doesn't have registers on the sales floor. When you decide to purchase something, you give them your card and they ask you to have a seat. They take it back and come out with a special leather pad for you to sign the receipt and your purchase all wrapped up. Definitely makes the experience top notch. read more

I was shopping in the area and decided to come into this store to browse and ask a question about a coat I have at home. I need to get my coat dry cleaned but the label says something about only taking it to specialized dry cleaners who do not use certain chemicals. I've taken it in to a few high-end dry cleaners in Beverly Hills and every single time I've been turned away because they cannot adhere to the dry-clean instructions on the label. I was hoping someone in this store could recommend a dry cleaners because if Burberry on Rodeo couldn't make a recommendation, who could? The people who work at this store are snobby and NOT HELPFUL. The first person I spoke to said, "I don't know what to tell you." Not, "let me try to find someone who CAN help you" or "I'm sorry, I don't know of a dry cleaner you can go to." He basically blew me off. His tone is what really irritated me... The way he spoke was very condescending, as if I wasn't worth his time because I wasn't a millionaire or celebrity. I asked if someone else could assist me and the next person that I interacted with wasn't much better: "Just take it to any dry cleaner and tell them to follow the instructions on the label." Was he not listening when I said I had already done that? At this point I was starting to get irritated so I just thanked them both and walked away. Poor customer service aside, I am also docking stars for the lack of selection at this location. I always make it a point to pop into any Burberry store that I might be walking past and this one has the smallest selection of every store I have ever visited. My local Nordstrom has a bigger Burberry selection than this store. Positive notes: This Burberry has prime real estate; it is located in the heart of Rodeo near all of the best shopping. There is plenty of paid parking and good restaurants nearby. I recommend parking your car and spending the day in the area. Had really a bad customer service here. I came to buy a coat for myself almost 2 weeks ago and found one I liked. The representative says they would need to order my size and it would take 1 day and they will shorten the sleeve length and sew my initial on the coat for free. 1 day became like 10 days. When I went to the store to pick up the coat, the sleeve was not shorten shorten. They told me that it would take 3 days, oh could be about a week or so. Once I left the store, but thought that the alteration could be quicker since it had been already 2 weeks waiting. I decided to call the store to ask for rush service. One worker picked up the phone and asked me what was my problem. As soon as my story finished, he asked me who helped you buy the coat without any concern nor apologize or nothing. Then said to me , "the person who sold the coat will come back tomorrow and will call you back!" I asked again "but is there anyone who can request the process faster ?" Before I finish my word, the man repeated the same word more firmly and irritable way like you talk to someone to go away! Then, I came back to the store to talk with someone beside the person I talked to. When I went in the store, there was a man who I just talked on the phone. As soon as he recognized my voice, he started repeating me the same words without giving me any chance to talk and there was no moment for me to try to ask other person there. As soon as I walked in someone came up to assist me showed me a bunch of purses and even went in the back to show me there back stock I absolutely loved two of the ones she pulled out of the back however they didn't have enough zippers for me and I'm a zipper kind of girl. This was my first time visiting the new location on Rodeo, as they were previously just a few blocks away on Wilshire. Their new spot makes it a convenient and wonderful location to visit when you are in the area for tourists and locals alike since it is located near many of the other brand name stores on Rodeo. Similar to their previous location, the inside of the store was nicely maintained, and it was easy to browse around whether shopping for a gift for yourself or someone else. Service was attentive and friendly, and there was always someone I could reach out to if I had any questions or needed help with anything. At the same time, none of the service people I encountered were particularly annoying or overbearing, which makes the shopping experience here all the more enjoyable (and I'm certainly hoping that this is always the case). When choosing out items for a gift, I was able to get good feedback from them as well based on the personal preferences of the sales associates, which made narrowing down to an option easier. Definitely had a pleasant experience at this store, and would probably come back here if I were looking for anything in particular. Other stores like Saks actually only carry the Burberry brand online and not in their stores, so the fact that this location is within proximity to big department stores makes it all the more convenient. read more

Superb, polite service. I phoned a few weeks ago asking if I could get a price match on a sale Burberry coat Saks was out of in my size. I spoke to the store buyer Rachel who couldn't have been nicer on the phone. Within seconds she was able to search her computer based on my description of what I wanted and locate the correct coat. Although she was unable to do the price match, she phoned back as promised to update me on a size I was looking for. In a neighborhood notorious for snooty and unhelpful salespeople, it was really refreshing to find Rachel. Thanks for following up with very good service! Wow this store is HUGE! I couldn't check into my hotel so I decided to explore the famed Rodeo Drive. Little did I know I was walking into the flagship Burberry of the west coast, the other flagship being in NYC according to Ethan who was more than helpful while I was there. It's definitely a site to see if you're coming from not LA or NYC since this store probably makes your hometown one look like a closet. I had to get the sleeves on my Trench coat shortened, so I decided to come to the Rodeo Burberry store rather than the one in the Beverly Center. The store is gorgeous and the people who work there are friendly. The Men's department is on the third floor and they have an elevator (for those who have trouble with stairs). Since I just bought my coat last month from the Burberry website, my alterations were free (you just bring in your receipt or they can look you up in their system). I had the in-house tailor see me on Monday and my jacket was ready on Friday, and they even pressed it for me. He did a great job and now my Trench looks great! Definitely come and check them out. And don't be intimidated by the swanky location because the staff here is really nice. read more

I called the store because I was told that they had a wallet I wanted and Burberry.com was sold out. They said they had the wallet so I ordered it and they mailed it to me. The wallet was not in very good condition, the Burberry metal emblem on the front was very scratched. I will not order anything from them again because I can not trust that they will send undamaged merchandise. And, just a note, as a previous reviewer mentioned, Burberry as a company has a huge problem keeping track of inventory. Many times I have been told that a certain Burberry location has a specific item just to contact the location and be told they no longer have it in stock. I go to Burberry Topanga or Nyc all the time (Highly recommendable) and get greeted right away and helped, water, etc. Especially If I know what I want right away! Rodeo was NOT the case. Employees told me they couldn't find the item I wanted which was just a simple check wallet That their website said they had in stock there (Did they care to look?) ...I get it a glitch, maybe? So First time they told me That it could be.. Employee checks a drawer. Then stops looking. I continue to shop and look for other options. The employee guy who thinks he was "helping me" by standing there not looking for the item I wanted, just LEAVES. I Ask another employee. They respond with a short answer. Then I ask a third time does this usually happen to items on the website? She then goes to look for the wallet! And What have we here? The wallet they kept saying they did not have!! So there ya have it. Employees here don't care even the customer they don't know Are frequently at Other Burberry Locations doing their shopping! They aren't friendly, don't know proper customer service, gives the brand a bad name, really. I won't go back. You'd think the service in Beverly Hills would be the best. I'll stick to my Burberry here near Calabasas.. When it came to finally purchasing the wallet they Threw receipts in wallet and in a dust bag Straight to bag No box! Very unprofessional. Updating my review to talk about the amazing customer service I received here. It's simply the best. Upon entering I was greeted by a bunch of friendly faces who kindly asked me if I needed any help. Once I got down to it my sales associate, Kimberly was amazing. She looked up the specific bag I was talking about and walked me over to see it. She then proceeded to bring more bags similar in style to the one I had picked out. The checkout process was also really quick and super simple. You basically walk around the store until your associate comes to you with the receipt. I will definitely come back here again when Father's Day rolls around. read more

I love their polos. Yes is a bit pricey at $400 per but the material is so nice and comfortable. Even if I can buy like 5 to 6 regular polo at other place, I will still buy Burberry polo because it is just so comfortable. I always have so much fun here! I love their pure cashmere and cotton trench coats. They are timeless and are perfect for all seasons! I'm also enjoying the faux fur coats from the last two seasons, they are so much fun! The store is spacious so is very comfortable. I love that women's clothing is on the second floor, and the floor to ceiling windows give you a very nice view of the whole Rodeo Drive, especially on a sunny day (which is all the time). The staff are pleasant and always eager to help, which is great. Although there had been some major turnover of staff the last couple of years, the quality of customer service maintained. read more

I went there to pick up a present for my friend, i knew exactly what i wanted when I walked into the store. I asked the lady to put the gift into a nice box and take out the price since it is a gift The staff were nice, well, I bought something, I dont know how would they treat people if they didnt buy anything? 1. The ribbon was cut short. She could not make a decent bow out if it, it looked clumsy and cheap bc she was saving on the bow... 2.
