Best gelato I've ever had! I wish I could have that gelato everyday. I tried two flavors and both were amazing. The line was long, but it went by fast and was worth the wait.

This place has some great gelato and desserts. I went there earlier in the afternoon and ate some of the desserts in the hotel room. It was so good, I had to go back and buy some more. I recommend the Caprilu al Limone, the Ricci Caprise in both chocolate and white chocolate with lemon, and the pinolate. On my second visit there, I also ate a Fantasia de Capri gelato. It was something beyond the usual gelato flavors so I had to try it. It was delicious in the waffle cone they make upon order. The cone was still warm with the creamy gelato inside. If you ever get to Capri, I highly recommend this place. It was still open after 9 pm when I went walking after dinner. Fortunately, I was able to resist a third visit.

What your eyes cause your stomach to do when spotting an array of colorful choices... Yep. I heard yours speak Tummyrian or Tummynese. So, when that happens you follow the disorganized crowd to the busy spots - like this place. Oh the confusion; especially when it's mad busy. I'm still trying to figure out why we: - walked down some steps - passed the cashier - stood in a crowd-line-ish bundle of people - browsed the glass case full of yummies to see what our hunger called for - asked questions when we thought it was our turn - got out of the crowd-line-ish bundle of people - went back to the cashier which we had passed to pay for what we asked about - brought our food ticket back to the area with a mass crowded bundle of people - purposely MADE it our turn even though there were some people still waiting :/ - got our munchies and we were happy Well, it was good food. I tried a pasta frittata for the first time! Had I not tasted another one on Via dei Tribunali in Centro Storico, I would've said the one here was awesome. But it wasn't awesome; it was just good. I did like that they have many food choices and they serve gelato. It'll do...

I heard about this place so had to try it whole coding Capri. The line was long but moved fast. We had our gelato and then sat inside for coffee and cookies.

Skip the gelato line and go straight in for the out of this world nothing like it Caprilu Limon Almond Cookies, which happen to be Gluten-Free because they are made with almond flour. I've come back to Capri just for them and have almost got the recipe down at home. Make sure to grab a couple boxes to take home. You'll regret it if you don't. I was completely blown away by the crisp, sugar dusted exterior, with a chewy, lemony-marzipan center.  Made with almonds, egg whites, honey and lemons for that quintessential Italian citrus goodness.

Hands down best gelato place in Italy so far. I was in Capri for two days and came here for gelato both days. They make their waffle cones fresh in front of you - and it is so good! I got a cone with two flavors each time. First time with panna cotta and nocciolata, and second time with caffe and stracciatella. All of the flavors were so good. Can't wait to come back here and try the rest of the flavors. We came by at around 11pm and the line to this place was sooo long. It is much shorter during the day, maybe only 5-10 min wait in the early afternoon.

At first glance this looks like any other gelato joint and bakery. Upon further review we found scrumptious looking baked treats and some of the best gelato we had during our stay in Italy. But the secret to this shop's magic are the freshly pressed and rolled waffle cones. Uhh yeah you read that part correctly. Amazingly crunchy, slightly warm, homemade waffle cones. Paired with their hazelnut gelato - AH! So good we went twice in two days. And if I were still in Capri I would be there right now!

The gelato and sweets here are incredible. Alone, they are worth the trip to to the beautiful island of Capri.

We even saw him take a bite of the communal Parmesan cheese with the spoon from the dish (and the mother returned it to the bowl) which prompted us to not use the Parmesan. The pizzas were hot and fresh, we ordered the Davola and salsiccia e friarielii. Both were delicious but in the end, we love a tomato based pizza the best and should not have wavered. A glass of house wine was surprisingly reasonable at just 5 euro and was a standardly nice, juicy, easy to drink red. The bread was incredibly delicious. The smokiness from the wood oven made it possibly the most delicious bread I can remember eating. No butter. No olive oil. Just delicious. We would have loved to have tried a few of the pasta dishes that looked delicious, so our recommendation for a couple is to get a pizza and a pasta and share them. The salads also looked fresh and large. As many places in Italy, there a fee to sit at the restaurant and be served. 8 euro for both of us. The next day when waiting for our ferry ride, we popped into a pizzeria and grabbed another pizza diavola to go...what a let down. The pizza at buca di bacco was within a euro or two in price and 100% better. If you haven't had a good pizza in Italy and find yourself in Capri, at least grab one or two of their pizzas to go and eat them near the ocean overlook. Don't forget the chili flakes You will be quite content.

Nestled on the side of a cliff in Capri, is this lovely place. It took our group of 8 on quite the trek down the side of said cliff in the hot Capri sun. Well it was worth the hike because the view was spectacular and the food was phenomenal. We basically ordered the entire menu but the standouts for me were the scallops, the fresh raw oysters and the seafood risotto. Of course the seafood tastes like they got it right out of the ocean. The service was also beyond amazing. Whatever we asked for, it was there with minutes and the table was quickly cleared of empty dishes and my wine was replenished a satisfying amount of times. I'm sad we couldn't experience the beach club but the view helped with the FOMO...btw the hike back up the cliff was intense. I'm grateful I'm in somewhat decent shape. An alternative to the uphill hike is a water taxi from the restaurant which requires advanced booking.
