I will try to provide an unbiased review with both the good and bad aspects of this boba tea joint. GOOD: They make the best Thai tea I have had in the United States. It tastes like actual tea, instead of sugary water. Also, their other boba teas are usually good to great. They have a new Vietnamese Iced Coffee drink that was rather delicious. The ambience in this place is unique in College Station. BAD: They are the most inconsistent business I have ever experienced. It is shocking how they are still open given their obvious QC issues. Sometimes, the Thai tea is great, sometimes they will give you spoiled Thai tea that tastes really sour and the cream curdles because of the spoiled tea. I am amazed that they had the audacity to charge full prices while serving us spoiled tea that could have given us food poisoning. Also, they have different people making the tea at different times, thus rolling a dice on the quality of the boba teas. Came here for the first time. They literally just had their soft-opening yesterday. They currently have a deal going whether you buy one and get one 50% off or buy two and get one free promo that ends after 01/31/25. They also allow you to spin the wheel if you spend $10 or more which can get you prizes. We ended up with a keychain due to my son's whack spinning skills lol. Anyways, we ordered the Passionfruit MT, Chubby Cheeks MT, Cuddles MT, and the Mango smoothie. The Passionfruit and Chubby Cheeks were ok. The mango smoothie was very delicious and tasted like a real fresh mango. The Cuddles which is their most popular drink was pretty delicious. Their prices for the drinks aren't too bad. The claw machine area is all fancy and fun looking, buuuuuut these machines are a ripoff. I played every single machine and was able to snag a doll completely in its claw and as soon as it reaches the top, it instantly drops back to where I originally snagged it. They need to tighten the grip because NO ONE can win. There were several other families here saying the same thing. Each machine is worth $1 that you change out for 1 token using exchange machine there. They also have a little shop there too. We will be back to try the other flavors, but not the games smh. completely agree with the other reviews- this place won't last long with these rigged machines! you want to leave your kids entirely frustrated and disappointed while also spending $10, then come here!!! i wish i had read the reviews first because what happened to the other customers is entirely accurate- multiple times the claw machine grabbed the little stuffed animal and then once it reached the top, it dropped it!! I was really hopeful for this place. Listen to the reviews. Cute place to EAT, SHOP, SIT AT, and PICTURES, but not for the drinks or claw machines. Drinks are 6-8$ and are not very good, claw machines are definitely rigged. $1 per play when you don't win at all in a college town is disappointing, we are all mostly broke already. After some research on Japan claw machines though... this is very common and actually a huge issue in Japan right now. The avocado cloudie had no flavor, the sunrise fruit tea had ok blueberry flavor but not as good as several other boba tea places in town, and the "shaved ice" were just large snow cones with syrup and sad looking bananas or strawberries. The atmosphere is amazing, the aesthetic is literally SO pretty. The bathroom was so clean and tidy, they offer free feminine hygiene products, it was so sweet. My only issue was the claw machine area, we bought the 20 token deal for $20 and lost ALL but 3 tokens to the scammy claw machines. The claws grab the item and as its in the air, literally opens when it goes up and drops the item. I'm aware that claw machines are hard, but these quite literally let go of essentially every single item it grabbed, on purpose.
