Came here for the first time with my son. We ordered the Açaí bowl, Açaí Berry Breeze smoothie, Oreo smoothie, and Gummy Bear snow cup. Both the Açaí bowl and smoothie are delicious. The Oreo smoothie was super sweet and doesn't taste like what we're normally used to when you buy an Oreo shake. Snow cups (cones) is called Shaved Ice in Hawaii where I'm from so it's finally nice to find a place that actually shaves the ice real fine like I'm used to. They have so many other shaved ice and smoothie flavors to choose from. The Gummy Bear is really delicious. Their cup sizes are massive so make sure to order what you can consume because my regular was definitely larger than normal regular size. Staff are friendly. The orders took a really long time to be made, and they even had several workers on the floor. Parking lot is small and located in the Hobby Lobby/Twin Liquors area. read more

Unlimited amount of combinations. Flavors, sauces, toppings! It's mind boggling. I got red raspberry, passion fruit and a sour flavor with tropical cream. It was delicious, perfect for a hot humid day in Texas. read more

They took a while to make 2 snowcones and they were laughing and i took a bit into my snow cone and the whole inside was shaved ice no syrup

I saw an employee get somebody's shake or smoothie on her finger, lick it off, and proceed to fix the rest of that persons order without washing her hands once. I will not be returning to this location that is so gross. My mango tango was pretty yummy though. May 04, 2025 around 6:30PM read more

My husband and I decided to get some shaved ice for our late night snack. We got there a little past 10 PM, but there were a lot of customers, not to mention a long line for the drive-thru. However, there were a lot of employees behind the counter and it didn't take long to receive our orders. As a shaved ice place, there is a ton of vegan options at Bahama Buck's. After double checking dairy free options with the employee, I got the Mangonada in a Baby size and my husband got a smoothie/shake drink type called the Wavebender (which had dairy). Mangonada also seemed to be one of the most popular items on the menu, as I saw three other people ordering the same thing during the time in the store. But unfortunately, it felt like they went a little bit overboard with their chamoy and chili salt because it was way too salty for me. However, if you like that extra kick, I highly recommend you to get it --for me, I think I am going to opt for a regular shaved ice with only sugar free mango syrup next time. My husband really enjoyed his drink, and we also received a free coupon for signing up for their membership, so I will certainly be back to try other vegan items. read more

The workers just stared at us and acted like we were invisible!! One of the workers started making umbrellas instead of taking our order, and then acted surprised when somebody hadn't taken it. We were the only people in the ENTIRE store!!! One of our Bahama Rama Mamas was made with chocolate ice cream when vanilla was specified. Extremely disappointed by my experience at Bahama Bucks. You have forever lost the service of a VALUABLE customer. read more

Bahama Bucks always has friendly, happy employees and of course their shaved ice is delicious! Always nice and soft, smooth, no huge chunks like regular sno-cones, and the flavor always goes all the way through, no plain ice bottoms here! I have earned more than a few free ones through their frequent buyer club. LOL My favorite combo is pineapple passion fruit black cherry, but they have a HUGE range of flavor options to choose from and I've yet to dislike any I've tried. The only thing that makes them better is getting them "Bahama Mama" style, which adds ice cream in the middle and cream on top. Yum! The prices are reasonable as well, especially for the sizes! Regular is enough for most folks, large if you're just needing that extra comfort sugar. Avalanche is kind of comically huge and really I think meant for two people (see my pics for an example when I ordered one just for kicks on half-price day)! There is a size above that, but I'd kind of be afraid to see it LOL Oh, and extra punches if you're a nut like me and go even if it's 30-40 degrees outside! :-D read more

They mess up my order every time! I came twice this weekend with my girl we ordered the same thing both times, they never do lite juice on the one we ask and just completely ignore the request for sour spray. It's just crappy service every time without fail, I will never be coming back to this location they have to be the worst! read more

Ahhh I LOVE this place. Never have they ever messed up my order , and it's the perfect summer snack for the brutal Texas heat. They often have deals on hooked for bogo or bogo 50% off, which is such a great deal! Prices aren't bad ranging from around 4-7 depending on what you get. Bahama mama ( when they put ice cream in it) is my favorite and my go to everytime!! Such a great sno cone/ smoothie place and I highly recommend ! read more

Doe. L can suck a fart. literally the best snow cones ever. always come back when i'm in town and it's always a good memory.

I love this place! Unfortunately every time we get it later at night, whoever is working that shift always forgets the cream part of the strawberry cheesecake one, a little disappointing for the price and wait read more

By far the best snow cones around! Fluffy ice, equal distribution of syrup, but some of the flavors are not what you'd expect them to be like. Flavors my fiancé and I would recommend: Grape (if you like grape flavored things) Cherry (if you like cherry flavored things) Peach Tamarindo (a little sweeter than expected) Pickle Juice (this flavor makes the ice a little different texture somehow?) Orange Cherry coke Flavors we don't recommend: Watermelon (tastes like bubble gum) Pineapple (has a weird after taste) Pina colada (not creamy, very sweet) Any of the sugar free ones read more

Fantastic food but you might as well order steak at the club for the time it takes for one snow cone. Literally the worst service I have ever seen. Couldn't pay me to come back. 40 min in the car line. Hard pass. Absolutely ten employees wandering around and the worlds slowest service I have ever encountered. read more

This was a yelp disaster! I never knew that you could have actually wait 20 minutes for snowcones while you're inside, and others are receiving their own. So disappointed. It better just to go through the drive through. Some advice if you don't want to wait 20-25 minutes for a snow cone. read more

didn't even fill my cup up all the way like if i'm paying for this i would like it to be true to size . yall do this everytime

I always thought american shaved ice was kind of gross (think like 50cents, elementary school, parent-made stuff with the syrup) until my friend brought me to Banana Bucks. It such a good dessert on hot nights and the fact that they have a drive-through makes it even more convenient. I almost exclusively get the bahama rama mama which has a scoop of ice cream in it, and you can choose any combination of flavors for your ice and ice cream although the ice cream only comes in a few classic flavors. Nothing I've tried has been bad. They also have coupons once in a while and a loyalty rewards punch card so there's no excuse to not go. I want to try other things on the menu but it can be somewhat daunting as their menu is quite expansive. The sizes are huge! I generally get the smallest size and that's enough for me. You can also buy a party size for you and your friends to chow at home which seems like a fun way to cool down in the hot summer. I will be somewhat sad to leave this establishment after my time in college station is over. Luckily it's a chain and I can only hope that there will be one in my next destination. read more

Hello, I would like to start off by saying Bahama Buck's is my favorite snowcone place ever! I go at least 4 times a week and bring people all the time. I've had great service there in the past but lately i've been treated very poorly. Last night I was denied a whole punch in my punch card because i got a free snowcone however my punch card had already had 10 and i didn't receive the correct amount of punches. The lady was very rude about the situation and handled it poorly by going back inside and talking about me.... I spend WAYY to much money at bahama buck's and bring a lot of money to bahama buck's to be treated this way. As much as I love their snowcones I will drive the extra 25 minutes to JJ's snowcones and spend my money and friends money there. This is not the first time I've been treated like this and I've been giving them chance after chance but I'm DONE! 5th STRIKE read more

We just left this place and the service was so rude! She told us we were not allowed to have a dog in here and once I told her that she was a service dog she rolled her eyes and walked away. Then she aggressively grabbed my card from me. She had dark brown hair and was wearing a navy hat. I didn't catch her name but the customer service was unacceptable. read more

We came here because our little boy has been begging for us to come here. In a nutshell, it is overpriced and ran by young kids who have no idea what they are doing. $22 for ice and sugar? Seriously? The kids working here couldn't even answer basic questions and upon requesting a modification of a menu item that would basically just require for them to blend two products together from their $9 bowl, they refused. We told them to charge us the entire $9 and they wouldn't do it. Another kid working here was extremely rude when we tried to be nice to him (we coincidentally know his mom). Altogether a terrible experience and we have no intention on ever coming back. Don't waste your money. read more

This is the best shaved ice in town! I love the flavors and the add-ons available. The Bahama Rama Mama™ option is worth it if you're feeling ice cream with your shaved ice. I like how you have no limit to how many flavors you want unlike other places I've been to. I think that's one of the features that makes me keep coming back to try more combinations. I really like the super sour flavors. This place is pretty fast with getting you your snow cone if you come at the right time. Since they've open, I've been here 5+ times and gotten service in reasonable timing. I give minus one star because it feels a little unorganized at times, but I think after they get over this grand opening phase, they'll figure it out. read more

Love me some Bahama Bucks. As with other locations, the prep speed here can be glacial, but the snowy goodness is worth it on a hot day. And with their punch cards, you can earn free ones quickly (well, at least, our family can). Syrup is sweet, but not as bad as many other ice places. The thin ice is a calorie-free option for those so inclined, though it does make the ice texture less soft and more icy (not sure why). Family favorit. read more

Had this a few times already and no particular experience stood out to me to make the rating higher. I grew up with Asian shaved ice and Snow Beach (food truck) in Austin, and for those, you taste the flavor you order. The flavors at Bahama Bucks almost all taste the same - overloaded with sugar, with the exception of a few (green apple won't disappoint with its sourness, be ready to make some ugly faces). For the only shaved ice place in town this will suffice if you're wanting something to cool you down in hot summers. But you're really slurping lots and lots of sugary flavoring. read more

Top middle had all white snow. Then I get halfway down and it's only white snow. Definitely not worth $4.10. Not the first time either. Will not be coming back. Not sure if you know the difference between regular snow cones and BB's Sno, but let me tell you... THERE IS! It's amazing! The staff is always excited and they got this stuff down to an art! I like their Thin Ice flavors since they're sugar-free. I've been to a few of their locations. They have some strange "flavor of the day" flavors. This month it was Polar Berry, and the young girl told me it tasted like Go-Gurt. That doesn't sound appealing. A better "flavor of the day" choice could really make this place 5 stars. Also, if it's going to be "flavor of the month", just make it that, and don't offer the same "flavor of the day" for the entire month. I think the only flavors worthwhile are Wedding Cake and Birthday Cake in the Thin Ice category. I mean, it's basically flavored ice, it's the only thing you sell, so why such a small Thin Ice menu? Also, a few times it's been mostly ice, no syrup, so that's disappointing. Anyway, it is what it is... read more

After sitting in the drive thru line for over 10 minutes and not moving once, we decided to go inside. The lines are ridiculously long, with no sense of organization. We waited over 30 minutes for our sno cones which majorly lacked enough syrup. I was also disappointed to read on their website that the "thin ices" which are sweetened with stevia also have artificial sweeteners in them. The place opened a few weeks ago and the patio is filthy already with the tables falling apart. Such promise, but misses it on so many different levels. read more

Honestly, Bahama bucks is my guilty pleasure. My bf and I frequently take quick little dates here and we can both get what we want for about $6 total. Some may say that's expensive for 2 snow cones but these types of snow cones are worth it. The "snow" is like legitimate soft packing snow (I grew up in the north so I would know). Not small hard pieces of ice. I guess what I'm saying is the texture is completely worthwhile. The staff is very gracious especially since my bf is "that guy" who asks about all the flavors with strange names. They also give out samples if you want to try. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who loves sweet (and cold) treats! read more

If you want a break from ice cream, definitely try shaved ice. I visited this place today and was impressed by the friendly service and of course their ice! Very chaotic...many times one of our order is just sitting there done while no one picks it up to call out the order. Ordering process from order to making it to handing them out is disorganized.
