Ask the Community - Bungee One

Do you reuse the bungee or buy your own (seems unsanitary to reuse something that has been wrapped between someone's legs getting sweat on)?

You mean the harnesses? Clients have the option to either purchase one, use ours, or purchase and use harness strap covers if desired. We do sanitize the equipment between every use as well. Client health and safety is our top priority!

The late night shift (11pm and after) for the most part generally are chair warmers. The newer guy they hired comes in, sits down, gets on his phone and never moves. Paper towel dispensers empty, spray sanitizer bottles empty, bathroom a wreck, doesn't matter, he doesn't move. Maybe that's his job, I don't know but seems like a waste of payroll to me. Rules posted around the gym are not enforced. Gym bags on the weight room floor, people walking around barefoot, weights, etc laying around because people don't pick them up and put them back. I know you cannot control everyone but it would be nice to see an effort. After all those things are trip hazards and I would prefer to bulk up at the gym and not swell up by tripping over some idiots gym bag. The maintenance is fair at best. Hot tub has been out of service for over a month. Shower heads constantly running water, urinal broken or running water. Machines that have been out of order for sometime. One in particular was stuck and I tried to release it and 30 lbs of weight dropped on my hand and fingers! Blood everywhere. Of course it was my own stupidity for trying to unstick it but when I went and told an associate they said... yeah we have requested that be fixed for a while. Went on to say, but it still works, it just sticks a little. Again, my own fault but seems to me it should have been fixed. Wasn't even offered a band-aid. RULES... now thats a joke! Every once and a while they print a paper sign saying no gym bags on the workout floor. As of tonight 5-4-26 at 9:55 pm, I counted six on the workout floor. Forget the trip hazard the customers are stealing. What's the point of posting rules if they are never enforced? Save a tree someone needs the wood. It takes money to do repairs I know but cut back the wasted water, the theft, constant employee turnover etc and you may have a little extra to fix stuff. Has management ever considered that you are loosing more business than they are saving money? It just seems sad that there are so many missed opportunities to make it better and attract more customers. Only reason I have kept my membership is because its like ten blocks from my house. Save your money and join another club. These guys are not the only gym open 24 hours.

Let's just say going here on a weekly basis has maintained my physical and mental health! Here are my favorite parts: 1. Signature Group Training Classes: Many members don't know that our membership includes these awesome classes. If you've been to Orange Theory Fitness, the GTX classes are a very similar concept minus the rower. I love the combination of cardio and strength training, making you that strong hybrid athlete! Big shoutout to my favorite coaches - Christa on the weekdays; and Aaron on the weekends. 2. Dynamic Personal Training: Well, I thought I didn't need this since I've been exercising for years, but after taking a complimentary session, I decided to commit. I have to brag about coach Victoria. She has taught me so much! My form for upper body training was off all this time - apparently, I don't keep those shoulders down to avoid injury/strain. I'm now lifting heavier: weight down, more skeletal muscle mass, and less percent body fat. I could go on, but it's worth the extra money and time. 3. Lifetime app: If you can't make it to the gym, they have on demand classes to take your workout with you. I actually use this quite often when I can't make it there physically, and simply look at the training plan to help guide my workouts. 4. Kids Academy: You can drop off your kiddos before your workout to keep them entertained. This is a huge plus for busy parents, and the kids can sign up for classes. 5. Other cool amenities: There's a sauna, cafe, swimming pool, and spa. You literally can do your nails, but I haven't used their services yet. Oh, they even have pickle ball classes and obviously a pickle ball court for free play. 6. Equipment: I'm used to having only 2-3 squat racks and fighting/waiting on those. There's plenty to go around here! I also love to use those bumper plates; they keep them in good condition. 7. Treadmills: The treadmills are so nice to run on. They even have a sled pushing mode. I typically run on Bootcamp training mode to easily adjust the incline and speed. The only downside is they don't have a built-in fan. The entire place is kept pretty clean with a water filling station, fresh towels, mats, etc. I almost forgot to mention they have a recovery/stretch area. I can go on all day, but long story short, you should do a free tour to see what you're missing out on.

The quality of instructors is high and I'm a personal fan of the Alpha strength classes. The gym is always clean and the locker rooms as well. I love the amenities of having a sauna and showers. I also like having a protein shake at the cafe if I'm running somewhere else other than home after the gym. We joined a year ago and are looking forward to taking advantage of their outdoor pool this summer. If you have little kids, I hear the kids facilities are amazing too.

Even ChatGPT says nothing about the referring member. Based on this, I referred 3 of my friends, and they all signed up on the same day. Now I'm being told by staff that the referral program only applies during my first month as a member. This was never mentioned anywhere--not on the website, not on the referral sheet, and not verbally when I asked about it beforehand. Before referring my friends, I even called the gym to confirm the details, and no one mentioned this limitation. During my friends' sign-ups, the sales rep took my information (email and phone number) and assured me he would submit everything to management and that I'd hear back within a week. I never received any communication. When I followed up, I was told that only one of my referrals was counted. What happened to the other two? There has been no clear explanation. At this point, it feels like the gym is trying to avoid honoring the 1-year free membership reward. The written terms only refer to the qualifying referrals and say nothing about restrictions on the referring member's membership timeline. This situation is frustrating and misleading, and feels like they are cheating their way out of the perk.
