Even ChatGPT says nothing about the referring member. Based on this, I referred 3 of my friends, and they all signed up on the same day. Now I'm being told by staff that the referral program only applies during my first month as a member. This was never mentioned anywhere--not on the website, not on the referral sheet, and not verbally when I asked about it beforehand. Before referring my friends, I even called the gym to confirm the details, and no one mentioned this limitation. During my friends' sign-ups, the sales rep took my information (email and phone number) and assured me he would submit everything to management and that I'd hear back within a week. I never received any communication. When I followed up, I was told that only one of my referrals was counted. What happened to the other two? There has been no clear explanation. At this point, it feels like the gym is trying to avoid honoring the 1-year free membership reward. The written terms only refer to the qualifying referrals and say nothing about restrictions on the referring member's membership timeline. This situation is frustrating and misleading, and feels like they are cheating their way out of the perk.

My baseline heart rate tends to be on the higher end, so my heart monitor kept on telling me I was in the red zone when I was perfectly comfortable. Of course, I started out very conservative with walking on an incline on the treadmill. Several classes later, I was back running on the tread like the good old days. Let's talk about the best part of these classes! *Choose your own intensity: There are going to be days when you're just not at your fastest. The nice thing is you can choose your own intensity and pace. In other words, you can opt to take it semi-easy or sweat it out. *Heart zones: If you're looking to make gains, this is where it's at. The goal is to be in the orange zone for 12 minutes, accumulate at least what they call 12 "splat points." They keep track of this via a heart monitor you wear during class. Since I've been trying to get 12 splat points every workout, I've noticed that my after burn (24 hours after my workout) is actually working. I've been at the same weight for the longest time, and now I've actually seen some changes. *Pump it up: I have to admit that working out at home is boring sometimes. Every class at OTF is different, meaning you won't know what the workout will be until class starts. The coaches and music really keep me going. *Strength: Everyone tends to talk about the tread and rower. Half the class is cardio, and the rest is strength training. You can pick which side you want to start first. If you're not a fan of dumbbells, they will become your best friend. I'm reaching my one year anniversary, and about to go to my next class in 10 minutes. Just wanted to share how my fitness achievement has been accomplished since being here. To put it modestly, I have bigger biceps now lol.

I love this studio and OTF!! I've been coming here since Feb and still enjoy it every class!read more

Fridays 10-12pm is currently the toddler ( kids under 5) time and it's nice they keep all the waterworks off so kids can play and parents can see/hear easily. Toddler time is best for the littles, 1-3 year range, my near 5 year old has outgrown the small slide and "baby" area. There are two large slides that open during regular hours but the height requirement is 48" which kids tend to hit between 6-8 yrs old. For us, since my kid is about 5 there wasn't much more than swimming here to do but the lazy River and splash pad. We stayed about 2 hours. There is a good amount of shade on site, an aid station and bathrooms. Until my kiddo is tall enough for the slides there isn't a draw to return. The toddler hours are $10 per family, great price especially for large families, for me I'm paying $5 per person where a family of 4 or more is paying half that per person. Would be nice to equalized the payments to (example) $2 per kid rate to make pricing fair. I like the fenced in area with single entry and exit point. Overall nice place to spend a couple hours once in a while, you can bring a cooler and make a day of it, will return after a growth spurt- or two.
