It is a great local gym. Staff is friendly and they keep the place very clean. Great selection of…read moreequipment and large supply of dumbbells. I am reading complaints about rates and fees and honestly, mine were very reasonable. Overall I love it here. If I was forced to come up with cons, id say its becoming overcrowded with young males who like to stand around 4 to 5 people at a station talking and posing in the mirrors but to be honest, they are all nice kids and create a good energy. Everyone seems to get along great. I do wish we had more space or could manage the space a little better but again, I love this place. Give them a shot at your business..

My husband ended up joining this gym as well, but got the cheaper option of just the gym equipment…read morevs. the group classes I took. We moved out of state in July. My husband canceled his membership beforehand (I think in June), but we have been charged every month since we left. He has emailed and called several times, and now we are basically have to make a trip to see them when we come in to town--not how we wanted to spend time off--to get them to cancel it. They are living up to the cliché. (When I canceled my membership several months before that, it DID drop off my credit card statement, but no one ever responded to my emails or calls. Not a "thank you for letting us know" or "sad to see you go." Nothing. I even tried to return the key fob they gave me. Oh, well.)

When I first joined, it was a little bit of a learning curve. It took me several classes to really…read moreget a hang of my base pace, push speed, and all out. My baseline heart rate tends to be on the higher end, so my heart monitor kept on telling me I was in the red zone when I was perfectly comfortable. Of course, I started out very conservative with walking on an incline on the treadmill. Several classes later, I was back running on the tread like the good old days. Let's talk about the best part of these classes! *Choose your own intensity: There are going to be days when you're just not at your fastest. The nice thing is you can choose your own intensity and pace. In other words, you can opt to take it semi-easy or sweat it out. *Heart zones: If you're looking to make gains, this is where it's at. The goal is to be in the orange zone for 12 minutes, accumulate at least what they call 12 "splat points." They keep track of this via a heart monitor you wear during class. Since I've been trying to get 12 splat points every workout, I've noticed that my after burn (24 hours after my workout) is actually working. I've been at the same weight for the longest time, and now I've actually seen some changes. *Pump it up: I have to admit that working out at home is boring sometimes. Every class at OTF is different, meaning you won't know what the workout will be until class starts. The coaches and music really keep me going. *Strength: Everyone tends to talk about the tread and rower. Half the class is cardio, and the rest is strength training. You can pick which side you want to start first. If you're not a fan of dumbbells, they will become your best friend. I'm reaching my one year anniversary, and about to go to my next class in 10 minutes. Just wanted to share how my fitness achievement has been accomplished since being here. To put it modestly, I have bigger biceps now lol.

I love this studio and OTF!! I've been coming here since Feb and still enjoy it every class!read more
