First time I've been kicked off a machine in 30 years of…read moreworking out in gyms across the world...literally while in the middle of my set by an employee unracking my weights and telling me to get off cause they are moving the exact machine I was currently using,.. I only had two sets left, mind you, and my sweater was on machine, I was getting ready to sit in it and use it, and the employee starts unracking my weights. I said "excuse me, I am using this and he said well we are moving it"! Never ever would this happen at 24 hour fitness or any other commercial big or small private gym. They know how to put their patrons first at those other places. IF he actually was taught to put members first, he would've let me finish the extra three minutes it would have taken me to complete my sets... never going back here. Or they could've put a sign to not use machine, like all other gyms in the world do. I have been a personal trainer all my life and never have I witnessed anything like what happened to me here today. If you're serious about your workouts and your time in the gym, don't bother with this incompetent staff that doesn't know how to put paying members first. What I experienced today is like eating at a restaurant and while you're in the middle of taking a bite of your half eaten burger, the waiter comes to your table and grabs your plate with your fries from underneath you. Who does that? LOL. But that is not the worst of it.. after the manager talks to me, the rude employee that kicked me off my machine (older man) comes over to where I am and rolls his eyes and tells me "get over it"!!! I've never been spoken to so poorly by a grown man. Shame on him for speaking to a lady that way. Zero respect, zero common sense, zero gym etiquette or know how. These people are running a joke of an establishment and their employees know nothing about serious training or why people actually go to the gym and yet they work at a gym. Canceled my family's membership and never going back to this dump.

Pretty awesome place…read more Appears super clean. Has a nice indoor water park with a few slides and a basketball hoops area. Also a small outdoor splash pad area. Very inexpensive for residents or even daily entry. It didn't seem overly crowded. Nice indoor play area for kids. Also a very nice turf field outside the area.

The first day we came, the front desk lady was very nice and set us up to come the next day to get a tour of the center and to discuss options. We met with the owner and talked with him for about an hour and a half going through an assessment of what we are looking for and what our fitness goals are. It was nice to have a trainer actually do this as we hadn't experienced that from the past personal training gym we were going to! This was a plus to us. He told us we could text him to set up a time to try out the group workouts for free. We texted him the next day and told him what days we could do, he let us know a lady (I'm assuming a trainer) would be contacting us to set that up. He also asked my husband if he could personally set something up with him one on one to get some training sessions started with him. He asked when would be a good time for him to call my husband, my husband let him know, but he never called nor contacted us to reschedule. Also, the lady that was suppose to call us to set up the group sessions never called either. Obviously they don't need new clients who care to join their gym so we decided we are going to continue searching for a good personal training gym in our area. Very disappointing as it looked like a cool gym, but when the owner/trainer can't even give us a call when they said they would, it tells us something. The largest attend classes at this studio are Isis' cabaret style belly dance classes. They also offer Hula, Doubeck drum classes, children classes, usually one-two different cardio/dance related classes, and they will usually have a tribal belly dance class as well depending on demand for it at the time. As well they have various performance troops from their Wings of Isis, Isis' Professional Performing Company , The Drums of Isis, etc. Isis also has in studio workshops but they also host usually in August every year a huge belly dance weekend of workshop & performances called Yaa Halla, Y'all. This usually has workshops by big name dancers & drummers in the industry, as well as performances by those giving workshops, up and comers, as well as booths to buy costumes, drums, etc. It has been a while from the time that I've taken classes there so I can't really speak to classes currently. Which is why I can't allow myself to do more than 3 stars because I can't speak to current classes being offered. Yet many of my friends that I made when I was taking classes at Isis ... some that started before, at the same time, or after ... are still there and have or working their way in to the professional performance troops. They try to be as family friendly as possible. There are many mother daughter, sisters, husband and wives, that are all involved in the studio in one way shape or fashion. Honestly just money hungry people that lock you in to a membership and would rather you infect their studio with Covid than help you out and let you skip a month. Just find another studio. Edit: I woke up this morning to a $200 fraudulent charge from the hook on my account after leaving this review. I also left this same review on google and they responded with pure lies trying to save their image. They said my membership renewed 3 months ago which is not true. My membership is set to renew this month in a few days and they refuse to cancel without the $200 fee. This company acts like they are women supporting women but all they do is promote body dysmorphia and steal your money.
