Although I had been working with a trainer for a few years, this was a faster-paced group workout, and I was afraid I might be viewed as too old to join in. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome. The trainers asked my name, explained the setup, and cheered me on through my first workout. I like strength training, so I chose to attend T/Th. The workouts rotate daily. The trainers demonstrate the day's training routine, lead you through a warm-up and assign you a partner and a place to start. You are not competing against your partner. You're challenging yourself during the 45-minute workout. Sometimes I forget that I have a partner; I am so concentrated. According to my Fitbit, I average 36 zone minutes, with 20+ minutes in the Fat Burning zone and +-10 in the Cardio & Peak zone. I have made some workout buddies at F45, and I love that the trainers all know my name and give me a fistbump when we finish.
