I've started a search for the cheapest cup of tea in Glasgow, and I think we've found a winner.
30p for a small tea - that's right, thirty pence, ladies and gents! It thrilled me to my bones, so it did. Not only that, but Bungalow's do a tasty hot chocolate for 65p - not bad considering you'd pay 3 pounds up the town!
Not only that, but this modest, small cafe does cheap and cheerful morning rolls, some lunchtime snacks and an assortment of old fashioned sweets. It's quite dinky on the inside but ideal if you're taking away or just stopping by for a brew. Which I did, and enjoyed it.
It's not open very late during the week but it's great if you're looking for a spot of simple breakfast before your busy day ahead, or a pit stop for a snack. 30p for a brew - as Mrs Doyle from Father Tea would say, "Go on, go on, go on..." read more
