(I used to live in this area and was surprised to see this new place; a much welcome and needed pastry shop/cafe !) We had the breakfast sandwich, which was so scrumptious and savoury; very unique delicate flavours. We also had cheddar chive biscuit, which was also so subtly delicious - love the infused taste. I got it sliced and immediately had a slice with butter once I got home. So pillowy soft and delicious! I asked if there was any yeast and they said very little but they have their own starter so it's a hybrid rather than authentic, yeast free sourdough bread. I also got a pork empanada and it was good. I got a fresh, classic glazed donut and with one bite and I was in heaven! It reminded me of glazed donuts I had growing up so it was blissfully nostalgic! I haven't tasted the apple cake but it looks so good. Lots more I want to try on my next visit. All the prices were great too. A big shout out and thanks to Cail who was working the counter. It has buns with various fillings. I completely ignored this section when I saw macaron sets in the display case. I wanted to get it for my friend and colleague. I also got six molten cheese tarts. They looked so good. I thought that it would be perfect to share with my small team. The woman behind the counter was so patient and friendly. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. I then carried my goodies to my car. My friend was happy to get the macarons. I haven't asked him how they were. I will when we are both back in the office. I'll need to get a set for me to enjoy. The molten cheese tarts were a hit. My friend and I loved how delicious and smooth the cheese tart filling was. It had a slight saltiness with the buttery crust that worked so well with the filling. My friend had two. I had two. I offered my manager one. He didn't hesitate. He took his first bite and was sucked into the heavenly goodness of this magical tart. I'm not kidding. It's amazing. The most controversial part of the cake is the little black sesame cubes on the top of the cake. These undeniably have more black sesame flavor but lean towards the drier side. I wish they were a bit more moist but still the black sesame flavor is nice. Price: I do find cakes here on the pricier side and while the flavors are unique, there's a lot of competition with other Asian bakeries where you can get a pretty similar flavor profile for cheaper.

It is just really doughy with hardly any Pumpkin filling.. The little pumpkin filling though is quite ok, actually is real pumpkin puree and not too sweet.
