Mobile bumper repair can be risky. I recently got burned by a guy who was local and cheap. When he finished, the surface looked mismatched. He said that was perfectly normal and to "let it cure and then polish it out in the next few days." Of course, that didn't happen. I recently moved to Venice Beach from the Valley. It's been havoc living here in Venice on my pristine 650 I BMW grand coupe sedan. And living on the west side makes it even more challenging because of the narrow alleyways, tight corners, and dirt. So last week I banged into a concrete piling while trying to maneuver in one of the alleys. I crunched my front fender/bumper. Things are busy, and I really don't have the time to lose use of the car for a few days by bringing it into an auto body repair shop. I am so fortunate and lucky that I found Ricky's company on Yelp! He quoted me a price that was extremely competitive in fact it was much lower than some of the other quotes that I received from similar types of company on yelp where I would actually have to take my car into the repair shop and leave it there overnight. Ricky came right to my home, and into ours had the complete job done, perfectly. I can't even tell that there was ever an accident! He made it painless, easy, professional, inexpensive, and seamless. But just because his prices are so reasonable doesn't mean you should expect not to receive superior service! My car looks almost as good as it did the day I took it out of the dealership! How come yelp doesnt have option give more than 5 stars?! Ricky's work was seriously more than a perfection. He helped fixing my range rover that had 8 screw holes from front license plate and made it look like factory I texted Ricky on 7/7 9PM and guess what he agrees and shows up on 7/8 7AM sharp to meet in busy Down Town LA. It was around 80-90s outside but he didnt say single word and repaired the car under estimated time frame he gave Car was Black with high gloss sparkle which he matched the paint literally at the spot. He even went further fixing the other small scratches that i didnt even know about - what a guy. Highly recommend him and he will be repairing my other high end cars (inviting him to San Francisco for repair.... hes THAT GOOD!) I hate to report that after my raving review, I have to update and say that I will not be going back to Rick for any future business. After he fixed my bumper, I had to take my car into the dealer for a headlight replacement so they took off my bumper. In the process, the crack I had and the repair Rick did 3 days prior fell completely apart. When the dealer took the bumper off, I could see that the crack was never completely fixed. It appeared like some bondo was hastily placed over the crack and then painted over. Pretty crappy job for $200 if you ask me. I contacted Rick to have him fix my bumper again and after 5 days of texting, emailing back and forth, and 2 arranged appointments; I never heard from Rick again. All I have to say is S.H.A.D.Y.! Why promise to fix my bumper AND make appointments with me only to disappear and not respond? I would give zero stars if Yelp allowed me to! read more

Words can't express the weight off of my shoulders after Ricky came to save the day. Someone backed into my car in a parking lot and the person offered to have it fixed by Bumper Solutions. After a phone scheduling, he was at my house and put on his tunes and was off to work. For someone to be self sufficient with his own generator, air compressor and portable paint mixing guide, he was ready to do the job right. He quoted me 1 1/2 to finish and even before I had the chance to finish watching my favorite Netflix movie he was done. Owning a small business is difficult, but having great support of referrals makes your job a little easier. Other than the last minute reschedule to 2.5 hrs later, it's completely forgivable because of his quick efficient service ! Ricky owns his own business and does house calls. I really hate to change my rating. After about a week the bumper looked terrible. Color was correct, but the finish looked sticky and rough. I called. and called. Got Ryan on the phone twice, nice enough, but couldn't ever get an appt made. His partner will take your info and never, ever call you. I have been waiting to sell my car-it looks like it was in an accident-it never was! Just some small dents from another driver who not so good at parking. I really need to seel my car. I have communicated all of this. I have asked for months now. My last message was two days ago, letting them know I will go this route but I DON'T WANT TO. PLease just come back, figure out how to get it shiny again. I will wait another month before heading to small claims-but I will go for the amount of the repair plus the decrease in value. My First Negative review! I'm normally very patient but this is a case of follow up being an afterthought. I met Ricky while he was on a job. I didn't realize this service existed. He seems like he knows what he is doing and is knowledgable. My issue is that his follow up was very bad. He promised he would get back to me. We had texted back and forth. I had called him and spoke with him. He just didn't seem interested in my business. Then he stopped texting back and he never returned my phone calls. All I needed was my bumper repaired. Maybe he has too much business or doesn't like to come to West LA?? His website says he covers this area. I searched through Yelp and found, ATS Mobile Bumper Repair. Trevor was very professional. Was prompt. Kept me informed of the situation like when he purchased the replacement bumper. When he painted it and when he was ready to deliver it. And his price was very good. Like I said earlier, Ricky from Bumper Solutions simply was very bad a following up with me. He engaged me early on and I was kept waiting to hear back and he never followed through. I was pretty happy to make it two years in LA without any car accidents (especially since I commute to work and am constantly witnessing just how horrifying LA drivers can be). But, of course, just a few weeks after my two year LA anniversary, there I was, stopped behind a couple cars waiting for a turn. Just a simple glance at my rearview mirror, the thought, 'Huh. That person is approaching awfully quickly,' crossing my mind, and, BAM, my first experience being rear-ended. Thank you, LA. Luckily, the only harm seemed to be done on my bumper. Unluckily, I was getting quoted some high prices to "fix" or "replace" my bumper. Now, granted, the other driver was the one footing the bill, but the idea that I'd have to drop $500+ to repair some dings to my bumper was ridiculous. I just needed it fixed up to look nice again, and, c'mon, I'm sure my bumper will be a victim again. Thankfully, yelp lead me to Bumper Solutions. I left a message, and Ricky quickly texted me back. After texting him a picture of my car, he quoted me a much more reasonable price (again, not that I'd have to pay), and was even willing to deal with the other driver and assured me of when the payment authorization went through. I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews, but Ricky arrived right on time as we had scheduled, and went straight to work. He did a beautiful job making my silver 2010 Honda Civic look good as new! He even fixed up a couple other small spots for me. I didn't want to write this review until some time had passed and my car had been washed properly. Thankfully, it still looks amazing, and I'm really pumped to have found Ricky's service. I was getting this job done for my mom, who had just recently bought a brand new Lexus ES350. I rarely give out reviews but this case is special. I found Bumper Solutions while searching Yelp. I do not know what to expect but after contacting Ricky, I thought I would give him a try. The quote to fix my car would cost a lot more if I go to a collision repair shop. The quote Ricky gave me is truly amazing considering the distance he have to travel and time I am available. On the day he arrived, he worked right away and finished the job as he said he would on schedule. He left as soon as he was done and told me to protect the newly painted areas at least for a day. Days passed by and I decided to have the car washed as it was parked out by the street. After being washed, I got a big surprise to find that about 1/8 part of the car have overspray paint. I called Ricky right away and told him what I discovered. He immediately put me on a schedule where I am comfortable. On meeting Ricky the second time, he came very apologetic and promptly started working on fixing the oversprayed areas. He did not leave my car until both of us were completely satisfied. Steer clear of Ricky and Bumper Solutions! I used him recently to fix a dent in my front fender. I sent him photos of the damage and he gave me a quote of $450 to $500. I assumed that would be the price. He came to my house, did the work and then, only upon completion of the work, did he mention he was going to charge me $650 instead! If the price was different from what he quoted me, than he should have mentioned that before beginning the work. Upon completion of the work, he also said he would return the following week to buff out the area he had painted. When I texted him to let him know that I felt he had been deceptive in raising his price without letting me know prior to beginning work, he offered to refund me $200 (to bring the price back down to what he had originally quoted me). I said that I would like the refund because I felt that was the right thing to do and that I would also like him to come and complete the job as he had said he would. After multiple texts to him, without any response, I gave up and decided to write this review instead (which I informed him I was going to do if he did not refund the money nor come to finish the work). There are so many other competent people out there doing this type of work, that one does not need to deal with people like this that are deceptive and dishonest.
