This is the worst "cleaning" company I have ever utilized. Even after two attempts my house was still not cleaned properly.

Before I start--pease note that the other Queen Bee Cleaning listed on Yelp--as "CLOSED" is the same business. Closing your business and starting it anew isn't the way to get a fresh start on reviews! I needed my home revamped post-covid. I hired Queen Bee to do a deep clean of my 1250 sq ft, 3 bed, 1.5 bath home. Our home was clutter free, pre-cleaned (as I've always done with my cleaning people in the past), and there was nothing particularly gross or unsanitary. Within the previous month, I had fully scrubbed my entire kitchen from top to bottom (but not inside appliances). I paid extra for having my fridge and oven cleaned. Their quoted price was over $600. I agreed. They were over 90 minutes late--which is fine, I'm super flexible and didn't get upset when they told me they were detained at another job. I couldn't quite tell, but, there were 4-5 people who came into my home. They stayed for 3.5 hours. This is more than $30 per man hour, so a very fair wage. Promptly at 6 pm, they all left--I watched on my porch cam, so I could return home. When I arrived home, the furniture in my living room was all over the place. A bar stool was under my front window. My pets' food bowls were placed inside of the litter box--and just left there. There was a gross, white residue all over my hardwood floors, in my oven, and on the front of my fridge. Mirrors and windows had drips running down them. Light fixtures were not dusted. My bed, which I explained to them was Scandinavian style--with two folded comforters was randomly thrown together, who messes up FOLDING a blanket? In addition to this, it was clear that they'd placed our comforters on the floor--which had cat fur, glitter, dust, etc--then, just rolled up the dirty bedding for us to sleep on??? I could go on, but it was pretty terrible. Prior to the job, I had asked them to send me quote for weekly or bi-weekly cleaning. Quite frankly, though, the things they did poorly--were the things that would be included in a weekly or bi-weekly clean up. The only things that did a pretty great job of was the things I paid extra for--the fridge and oven, aside from the white residue, were immaculate---once they came back the following day to re-do/complete the job. It's my understanding that they simply ran out of time and left at 6 pm--my house was literally left in disarray. Coming home after a cleaning crew has been there should be relaxing, not annoying. I was quite clear with them that I was unhappy and would not be continuing with their company. I almost didn't leave a review--until, I got a text today, asking if I wanted them to come clean tomorrow. I know finding a cleaning crew is a pain in the butt. Hired Queen Bee for a deep clean for a move out. The three ladies that arrived did a great job. The only thing is that the supervisor didn't understand English well enough when I asked her if they would replace a burnt out light bulb in the front entry way that was reachable only by a ladder. She kept telling me they would clean the light fixtures, not answering my question. When she told me two of them had to leave to clean another house but would be leaving one girl behind, and I asked her a question, she told me she didn't speak English at all. She called her supervisor and handed me her phone. I also had to follow up with the management on some questions in writing when they didn't respond to my voicemails. I cannot recommend this service. The cleaning was mediocre - entire rooms often missed, baseboards not dusted, bed linens changed in some bedrooms and not others, new dents and scratches on the walls after each visit. What's worse was spending time fishing food waste and garbage out of the recycling bin after EVERY SINGLE VISIT. The cleaning team (which never seemed to be the same people) somehow could never figure out where to put the garbage, recycling, or food waste in the city bins. I ended up going with a different company offering the same services for $445. - Before I decided to find an alternative company, I had decided to go ahead with Queen Bee, and they asked for my credit card number over the phone. I could hear they were in a call center so I said "Okay, I will read it to you. Please do not repeat it out loud, if you need confirmation I can read it to you again". QB Team started cleaning my Airbnb apartment at the end of March, and I gave them a STELLAR 5* review in the first few months as you can see below. They did such a great job, but the quality of cleaning has dropped through the floor in JUNE 2017.... Disappointing cleaning quality which began to slip after 2.5 MONTHS! Since June 3, 2017, the QB team messed up cleaning date 3x where I had to follow-up / text/ call the DAY OF cleaning after realizing they haven't picked up the keys at scheduled time! 2x occasions where the bathroom wasn't stocked with Tissue Paper, and 1x occasion with HAIR AND STAINS ON BEDSHEETS (see photos! My guest sent me an angry message where they were "DISGUSTED' by the quality of my apartment, and I had to refund them for their booking! So disappointed in QB service! Every time we had a problem, I will follow up with QB via email and text messages. At this last instance, I've finally had enough and sent them an email listing ALL issues. The owner Sandra responded with a message and terminated their cleaning service immediately -- despite a 30day written termination clause in the contract -- and I have guests arriving / departing tomorrow! To be fair, it was for a "deep cleaning" instead of a regular cleaning--no problem, that made sense; however, when I asked for the "standard cleaning" price (expecting it to be $189 per the table provided), I was quoted a figure 32% higher than what was advertised on Craigslist. I have been using Queen Bee for a year. I will admit that they have a few little quirks, but they're easily navigated. For example: if I have anything specific that I want to communicate, I do it through Sandra. She communicates to the team and it is taken care of. Also, I don't count on them coming right at the scheduled time. Time is tough to pinpoint with traffic, illness, and unknown of other jobs timing and so I schedule a day and time I can give them flexibility. With these two things in mind we have enjoyed Queen Bee cleaning our home monthly (a little more often when needed) for over a year. If there is ever anything missed (very rare) I would simply reach out to the office and they would take care of it. Communication is key! read more

For how much they charge the cleaning isn't sufficient. I only had them come twice to decide I no longer wanted to pay $135 for 550 square foot apartment. I paid (twice) for pet hair removal ($16) and both times it wasn't removed. When I called to ask if vacuuming the furniture was apart of pet hair removal the customer service guy (who was really nice) said they should have done that and I wouldn't be changed the next time for it...but I was. It's not worth calling to get a refund for $16. I just paid it but no longer will move forward. Additionally, they don't pick things off the floor to clean, dusting wasn't the best. Just the whole job was sloppy. I do have to say the bathroom looked really nice. But not for $135. I have my bosses cleaning lady come to my house now. She does a great job for $80!!! read more

It just keeps getting worse... I booked Queen Bee Cleaning Service through a third party booking site. We don't have regular housecleaners because it's expensive and I generally do it myself, with some help from the kids. But, we all know that kids aren't that awesome at cleaning. So, this was a treat to me, from me, I have been saving money for a few months to afford this cleaning. We paid extra for a deep clean and baseboards and got a free oven cleaning included in our scheduling. We were told if we pay cash, we got a 10% discount, so we made sure to have cash ready. Great, so the whole family spent time the day before, picking up and making sure the cleaners had good access to all the spaces that needed to be cleaned, so they wouldn't have to spend time making our home tidy before cleaning. The team arrived, and it was two women - great! They started to clean, and it started off fine. Actually, it looked like it was going to be great because they were dusting the blinds - AWESOME! But then it went a bit downhill; that was the only deep cleaning part of the day. The bathrooms, kitchen floor, living room rug, under the couches, the couches themselves, etc. were NOT cleaned even to a general cleaning standard. In fact, so many things were missed that I emailed Queen Bee that evening to let them know that the service was poor, and provided serval pictures. I got a response right away and the person I spoke with was very kind and responsive - great! I was under the impression they were sending a different cleaning team, and would address the obvious misses (kitchen floors with food and spots on it, master bathroom sink with grim still around the rim, shower head and handle not cleaned, hair on the bathroom floor, and kids snacks under the coffee table to name a few). The next day, I got a call saying that the same team was in the area and if they could please come by. I said yes, but I should have said no. The main gal was obviously displeased, though she was trying to be kind - which I understand and appreciate. However, when I showed her the kitchen floor, she said, "Well, I guess we could just pour more water on it (the floor) and wipe it up" I was like, "Wait, what? Water? How will that help?" she said, "Oh, well, I mean, did you want us to scrub the floor?". Um, Yes, that is what I want. That is what I paid nearly $400 for. I want someone else to scrub my kitchen floors since I work all day, have four kids, a disabled husband and a birthing experience just 5 months ago that almost killed me. So yes, please SOMEONE scrub my floors. I didn't want to rock the boat, so I said, "Ya, I guess that's what I'm thinking. I mean if you don't "do" that..." "Ya, I don't do that" "Oh, you don't?" "Ya, no one does" "Really? Cleaning service employees don't scrub kitchen floors?" "like on my hands and knees? No." "Oh, ok, well, should I have scheduled that in advance and paid extra for that?" "That's not something that's even offered" "Oh, ok... well, the kitchen floor is still dirty and it needs to be cleaning... so I will let you decided on how best to do that." "Ok, so what else needs to be done" "Well, I paid for a "deep cleaning", what does that include?" "I guess it's cleaning the blinds and stuff" "Great, that was done! Anything else" "Just other things" "Super, like what" "Well, what do you want done?" Seriously, this how the conversation went. I am not kidding. For real. Granted this gal is like 20-something years old and has probably not been doing this a long time... plus sometimes you gotta be a mom to see all the moms-eyes-only dirt that is EVERYWHERE, I suppose. So, I walked through what needed to be done, they did it and left. AND THEN.... The next day, we were charged, on my credit card, the full price after we already paid in cash (I had to put a card on file to book). I had to call them to have the charge reversed. They did it quickly and were very nice about it. Great, game over. done. Husband I decided to NOT have them back since I had to re-vacuum after they left because their vacuum was not good and didn't pick up hardly a thing. Seriously, it was a joke. THEN TODAY... I get an email saying that our auto-scheduled appointment is coming up in two days. There is a link that says, "Click here to cancel or confirm", so I clicked it to cancel. The next page it took me to, said: "Your cleaning is confirmed!" There was no way to cancel this cleaning from their website. None at all. So I sent an email to cancel. They got back to me in like 3 minutes and canceled. Great, done. So, here's the deal. The front office is wonderful. The cleaning team(s) they sent out were terrible. On August 8th I used Queen Bee's online booking system, it was straightforward and pleasant to request a deep clean for August 18th. Unfortunately, it took their reservation system till August 11th to send me this generic message (Thank you for choosing Queen Bee Cleaning Service for your home cleaning needs. Your request for service has been sent to the Queen Bee Cleaning Service Customer Happiness Team. After checking availability, we'll be in touch with you shortly to finalize your booking. Please note: This is NOT a confirmation email.) I then I let two days go by and heard nothing. I started to call their offices at different times during their business hours. I left several voicemails which never got returned. At 8:00 pm on August 17th (the evening before my cleaning) I received an email about my cleaning. The email gave me 9:30 am, which was not the time I requested and it was now past business hours to try and adjust the schedule. The next day came around, and I shifted things in my schedule to wait for the cleaning team. They never came, and I got a BS email from the owner, which I'll paste here (Sorry about the late response, I am currently on vacation. The only opening I had today was at 9:30 am, our other secretary had forgotten to send you a confirmation email. I'm really sorry about all the inconvenience, please let me know when you would like to reschedule). I declined their services after having to hunt them down to schedule a service worth more than $200s. Then rearranging my schedule for them only to wait around for nothing. I want nothing from them if the owner reads this. Just for other customers to know that the owner's process is flawed. The secretary he mentioned apparently never answers the phone and the owner sends emails at 8:00 pm the night before when it's too late to do anything. I found this service via Craigslist. The company was running a Craigslist discount of 20% off the normal rate of $35 an hour. Our total cost to thoroughly clean large kitchen, family room, living room, 3 bathrooms, master bedroom and spare bedroom came to $220. We paid by check. I scheduled cleaning for 9am yesterday. Positives: Scheduling is very easy. The manager, Eric, sends a cleaning contract via email so you know what to expect. Three very nice, hard working women arrived right on time. I gave them a quick tour of the areas I wanted clean and they went right to work. They worked non stop from 9am to 12:30pm. I'm very impressed with the results. They deep cleaned everything, doing a better job than I do and I'm a bit of a clean freak. They even wiped clean the dish my Venus Fly trap plant rests in. The service brings all their own cleaning supplies and accessories, including mops, buckets, vacuum cleaner. They do not use any products containing bleach, yet all white porcelain surfaces sparkle and shine as if they did. Negatives: Even with the discount, the rate is pricy compared to other cleaning ads I've seen. Most are in the $15 to $20 an hour range. They do not offer carpet cleaning service at this time, though Eric told me he's working on offering it in the future. One of the ladies cellphone rang many times while they were here. It's courteous to keep cellphones on vibrate when on the clock. Overall, I'm satisfied with this company. I couldn't afford to have them cleaning on a regular basis, but I'd hire them again to do a deep spring cleaning. read more

Good cleaning service is hard to come by, and I will probably have to keep looking. Two ladies came out, not too late beyond the appointment time. The cleaning quality was well below average. They don't appear to be cautious, detailed, nor hard working. They dislodged my closet door and did not say anything instead left it leaning against the wall. They don't pick up, move, or organize as they clean - don't hire maids who don't like to bend down. They missed a lot of areas as a result and I had to mop/vacuum again after they left. That poor quality alone would get two stars but paired with the high price it definitely deserves a one-star review. Watch out for added fees for bathrooms. *Update - I was contacted right away about the bad review, told that management also expects premium quality from their crews, and offered a discount towards a future cleaning service. Eric was very quick to reply to emails, and the contract was well put together. Payment was through PayPal at the end of the cleaning. Many cleaning places have 100% reply ratings for estimate/quotes, but some only say "give us a call" for a quote (e.g. Molly Maid). Queen Bee was quick with an ACTUAL quote. Their website is broken I think, but they replied quick and with details on Yelp, and their online ordering/scheduling service worked great. They showed up on time, did a great job cleaning. My kitchen never has looked this good! The only complaint I found was they didn't really get my area rugs vacuumed/cleaned. Next time I call, I'll have them focus on that specifically. The girls were very detailed and friendly. My bathroom was sparkly clean after they were gone. They even offered and cleaned one other bathroom as well. We've been working with Sandra, owner of Queen Bee, since Fall 2013 and have been very pleased with her team's service. She's very flexible with her schedule and pricing - and we have a big house. She did a deep cleaning for us when we first moved into our house. We were so impressed with the results. She even cleaned the inside of the window runners and changes our kitties litter boxes when we were pregnant. If ever we have an issue or need to be addressed, Sandra is AMAZING and always does her best to help. She is also very quick to respond to any questions, concerns regarding her cleaning service. I got off to a rocky start with Queen Bee Cleaning Service and should have heeded the signs. They were four hours late for their first appointment and didn't show up for their second appointment. When I called they said they would send a team out the next day, I had houseguests coming so I went forward. On those initial cleanings, Queen Bee did a great job. Once I booked the bi-weekly service the quality of the work rapidly got worse. Here are some specific problems. QULITY OF WORK - If Queen Bee's cleaning was good, I could get past the other annoyances. The cleanings are sloppy and incomplete. For example, each week when they clean the bathrooms, they don't wipe down the liquid soap dispenser, clean the mirrors all the way to the edges, or clean the corners of the floor. I often find dust and cat hair that was missed under the cabinets and bed. In the kitchen, they have scratched my sink and broke my faucet, left the cooking range streaked, and left drip marks on the stainless steel. The lamps are not fully dusted, but somehow the lamp shades are always left askew. Generally, they do not seem to move things to dust. For instance, when I picked up a decorative pot and a lamp in my living room, there was a ring of dust on the table. I shouldn't have to re-clean a house I just spent nearly $200 to have cleaned. COST - I'm happy to pay a little more for an excellent cleaning service, but Queen Bee isn't it. They charge high rates, similar to some of the most expense cleaning services in the area and their substandard work does not justify the price. ONLINE BOOKING SERVICE - I booked a bi-weekly cleaning and received a notification that the service would take place. They never showed. When I called the manager said the online booking service wasn't synching with the schedule so I didn't have an appointment. He offered me a 15% discount for the next cleaning, which was nice. One flag if timing is an issue for you: The text notices generated by the online booking service and the email notices that notify of the time of our your cleaning always include two different times for the same cleaning. DON'T RETURN PHONE CALLS - I have twice called Queen Bee on issues ranging from they charged me the wrong amount to calling to provide feedback about the cleaning and ask for specific improvements. Each time the woman who answers the phone says I need to speak to the manager, who is not currently available and will call me back. I have never received a call back. Based on their poor quality of work, bad customer service, and problematic tools, I recommend that you do not use Queen Bee Cleaning Service. read more

He also offered to come out himself next time to make sure they clean the house right. I declined that offer to have them clean again. I appreciate the call to make it right, he was very nice. We are looking for a biweekly cleaning company and where hoping Queen Bee would be the one. The 2 people that came where nice enough, but only stayed for 2 hours. This would have been fine if they had actually done a deep clean like we paid for. Our house is 950 sq ft and not all is required to be cleaned. They missed the baseboards, the laundry room floor, the bathroom mirror, the kitchen island, the back of the kitchen sick, and only dusted one small area. If we are paying for a service I should not have to redo any part of it when it is done. I called to let them know we would not be continuing with them and the lady on the phone said was less then helpful. All she said was that someone may call you to get more information. 6/15/16 - Dropping from two stars to one. After a couple months of cleaning, I'm not satisfied. The blinds are left dusty, and somehow they always screw up the drain stopper in my bathroom sink and the bathtub. Aside from that, the cleaners said they couldn't get into my house--leading to a 40% fee--even though they had a key. The owner or manager didn't believe me, and didn't get back to me for rescheduling. I would not recommend them. Original review - The cleaning itself was great, the ladies were efficient and friendly. I was excited to use what looked like an easy online booking, but the customer service is terrible and the cost is way overpriced. I had a $75 off gift card that was not applied to my bill, the bill was significantly more than I was quoted on the phone because they didn't take off either the first-time booking discount or the recurring booking discount. I called to ask about the price and the discounts and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. Won't use them again. I was just contacted by the Better Business Bureau and was informed that Shortly after I left this Yelp Review that was extremely critical of Queen Bee, Someone other than myself mused my real name and my real contact information to falsify a better business Bureau review claiming to give Queen bee 5 stars and an exceptional review which was then copied identically as well to Google under the same username. Knowing that an actual corporation, Or Someone working on their behalf would go to such lengths to trick future customers into using their terrible services, That they would fradulently (And actually Illegally) Pretend to be one Of their own customers, To give false positive reviews of themselves online in an attempt to counter act the very negative reviews given by those very same customers after very real, very terrible experiences at the hands of these so called cleaners, Is very disturbing and in fact somewhat terrifying. It is illegal to impersonate a real person online With the intent to defraud another. See RCW 9A.60.040 QUEEN BEE you're being investigated by the BBB for what you've done. Bad customer service.. cleaners broke closet door, paint and caused damage to floor..

The cleaners did a great job cleaning my very messy kitchen. They arrived on time and worked steadily throughout their service. My one critique is that they spent quite a bit of time "organizing" rather than "cleaning" and I wished they would have focused on the cleaning so that they would have had time to move onto other rooms. read more

So I thought I would try their service out again after some mediocre services in the past. Unfortunately it was not a good experience. My mother has been a housekeeper for over 40 years and she watched the girls cleaning. They never picked anything up when dusting, did not move chairs from the dining room when vacuuming and mopping, didn't move small items under tables, etc etc. Since I had not had a professional clean in a while I paid for the "deep clean". They got here at 4pm and left at 5:30. So essentially I paid $80 an hour for a "deep clean". And that was a discounted price. They mentioned they had to get through 11 houses a day. WOW! read more

We had Queen Bee clean our house in preparation for having family in town. I was able to schedule on a Wednesday and have them come out on the following Saturday at 8am. Chris coordinated the cleaning and was very responsive via email. The two women who cleaned the house arrived, asked for a tour and our priorities. They were able to accomplish everything we wanted in 1 hour and were great! read more
