I have stayed at many RV resorts in Florida and this one is by far the most beautiful I have been too. The facilities are nice and the staff was on point. April in the office is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and hard working. She went out of her way to help me and has in-depth knowledge of all reservations and the system they use. If there was ever someone to help you find a spot, she would be that person. All of the people I met at this park were very kind and friendly. The resort is beautiful and set around unspoiled nature. Next door is the historic Bulow sugar mill plantation and just south is the scenic drive to Ormond Beach. So peaceful and stunning.

If I could give them no stars I would place is a dump charge u so much and the pool heater doesn't work water ice cold u would think they would give a discount nope bathrooms are filthy wooded bridges falling apart pool chairs are old and breaking management sucks they don't answer phone calls and when u go in to try to talk in person your told there busy laundry room dirty wouldn't recommend this place to anyone maintance r lazy if something breaks caution tape or out of order signs go up they are dumb as a bag of rocks

Good times. Cabin life living. This RV camp is a CO ed residency and campers Park. Community showers pool and laundry were pretty clean. However there are a lot of mosquitoes because of the stagnant water you are able to see some baby gators, lots of cranes blue cranes, white cranes. It was a great place to stay beaches around the corner, Stores. Did some bike riding. Overall it was a pretty good stay

The park is actually split in two - divided by picturesque Florida Highway A1A (a gem in itself). The ocean side has a honor system pay box where you deposit $5 for the day, and place a numbered stub on your dashboard. The Intracoastal side has a ranger station, staffed by very friendly and informative park rangers. We ended up picking up a yearly family pass for $120. This allows up to eight people to access any of Florida's 175 State Parks. Gamble Rogers is immaculately clean and well-maintained. The picnic areas on the Intracoastal side are particularly nice! The boat ramp and kayak launching areas are very nice as well. Bathrooms were impeccably tidy - something that's always appreciated! We spent some time walking on the Joe Kenner Nature trail, and saw lots of wildlife. There are many campsites here (on both sides). We did not check out these areas because the roads were marked "for registered campers only." My only disappointment was that the beachside public walkover to the beach itself was closed - presumably due to storm damage. Hopefully this gets opened soon, as the only was to access the Gamble Rogers SP Beach would be to utilize one of the several walkovers in the beachside campground (not sure if this is allowed - will ask next time I'm there). Can't wait to go back - a super-nice State Park that is only a few minutes from my home.

Just our opinion; all the parks in the system aren't " destination parks" but are parks that are a way to setup for a few days and venture out to see the city or surrounding area. Some do have great pools or amenities and some don't. This park does have a great pool and a great Putt Putt Golf area. It does have a nice walking area but we've noticed not too many are friendly. Only had maybe two people say hello. I really don't like all the VERY old mobile homes that look like they are getting ready to fall apart. They are scattered throughout the park. The only concern we had during our stay was the water pressure! Our site was H1 by the new renovated clubhouse. At night (thank goodness) around 8pm the water pressure was fine and around 40psi. From 8am to around 8pm while people are washing closets and taking showers in the clubhouse area our water pressure stayed at 20psi all day..... I even talked with our neighbors that were next to us along the clubhouse sites and they said they had the same issue and couldn't figure it out. Oh added note; on one of the nights for one hour the water psi jumped to 80psi and glad I caught it in time. I just happened to walk out to look at the pressure regulator and noticed it was showing 80psi. I had been messing with the settings all day trying to figure out why only 20psi. I guess I had it set wrong and when pressure jumped up the regulator didn't fix it properly... My fault! Honestly; that really needs looked into regarding the water pressure along those sites around the clubhouse at site H1 through H10....

We were a little skeptical on getting our camper in the spot it worked out. The bathrooms were clean, the ladies at the front office were nice.
