The inspector failed to mention that the hvac was only connected to half of the house we purchased, also that there was a dryer exhaust & a gas line running through the hvac system.... Those are very dangerous things to have in the same combined space! They bipassed so many other things but these are major money issues! Overall 0/10 recommend, look elsewhere!!!! read more

Disappointing!!!! I used Bullseye at the suggestion from my realtor and I REGRET it. During the home inspection, I expressed some concerns I had with the flooring, roof, and bathroom but Sergio dismissed my concerns despite my repeated explanations for the concerns. He stated everything looked fine and I should worry. I have owned a home before and I am familiar with repairs and work that just doesn't look right. But despite my concerns I trusted that he was the profesional. I am now in my newly purchased home with flooring that is cracking and shingles that have fallen off the roof. Review comes a year after moving into our house. Buying my first home and went through our realtor to get a home inspector and she recommended Sergio from Bullseye Home Inspection. Paid $500 and the whole inspection lasted about 1.5 hours. So come to us moving in, and within the first week of moving in, we find out that the water pipe leading to the backyard hoses was deteriorated right below the ground off the main line to the house and not functioning. Tried to call their warranty, Residential Warranty Service Inc, multiple times but no answer. So take the hit and replace all the piping because it's galvanized steel and nobody works with that material anymore. Over the past year, little thing here and there that should of been caught like all garage door hinges needing replaced because they were all cracked or the above the stove microwave only function for a minute before tripping the breaker. Now come a few weeks ago when a crazy storm came through and now I have multiple leaks through out the house. So called a couple roofers to come inspect and they all told me this roof is shot. They could do some patch work but in the end I would be wasting money patching since the roof needs to be replaced within the year. Elected to get a new roof, something the inspector told me that I wouldn't have to worry about for at least 6 to 7 years. When they took off all the shingles, there were multiple beams needing replaced and all the edging due to age and termites. Something that should of been caught when he was crawling in the attic or doing the walk around. So in the end, I have sank a good $20k into our house on things that should of been caught from the inspection and possibly been put in to lower the price of the house. Don't know if it was just a bad day or if this is business as usual but one thing is for I wouldn't recommend them. read more

First time home buyer. This inspector came with the approval of our realtor. Husband and I were in the process of contacting our own home inspector when our realtor urged us to use this company and gave glowing compliments. It's now obvious to me they were in cahoots to quick sell this home, over looking and never mentioning important issues. I'm giving this company one star for the following reasons. 1- first week of moving in we find that the back yard pipes don't work, water doesn't even reach the back yard 2- after one month we find that the front yard pipes are completely severed and useless so we had to repipe the entire front and back yard which cost thousands! 3- after one month central air doesn't work, find out the system is installed wrong (again something that the home inspector should have pointed out) that also needed to be replaced 4- no mention of smoke detectors in kitchen (kinda important) our roofer pointed this out our roofer! 5- before our first year anniversary we had to replace the roof (it was completely shot) inspector said roof was good for 6+ years turns out the shingles weren't even put on the roof correctly (something the inspector should have caught and mentioned) 6- there is a worrying amount of termite damage and wood rot in important structural parts of the home. Damage so bad structural beams needed to be replaced (again no mention of this in his assessment especially since these beams could be seen from the attic) The home inspector was at the home for only 1 1/2 hrs. No wonder he missed these important areas of the home. Most home inspections last 4+ hrs on the average. The square footage of our home is estimated at 1550 sqft and our lot is 8500 sqft. So the amount of time he was present compared to the size of our lot doesn't add up. It's been a worrying year and financially stressful having to invest over 25k on areas of the home that are just upkeep not remodeling. I have since reached out to my realtor regarding these events. Her response. It's a good company and we use them very often for our home inspections. So watch out folks. You might get screwed by overzealous realtors hoping to make a quick sell and the home inspectors that work with the realtors. read more

3.5 stars actually... I've gone through about 40 inspections and these guys are "too fast". 50 mins for a 2200 sq ft house. The report had a similar amount of pages as the other reports I've seen, but they were not detailed. The age or most appliances were not available, especially the AC and water heater. He "talked" about a few issues, but did not put it in the report, even though he said he'd put it in the report. Most inspectors I know do 1-2 a day. Here, they are proud of doing up to 3-4 a day. If you just need a very quick, "on the surface" home inspection, I think they're fine. If you want to know more about the home, maybe try someone else. Sure, most clients who get a list of 28 items tend to take care of 3-4 after they move in, but it depends on the client. Do your homework. A lot of people talk about Sergio but it's not always him, even if you scheduled it with him. Twice, Sergio sent out some other guy without telling us. Definitely not bad, but not what I expected. Price is good, but it reflects. For those in the RE field: def not a "deal killer", if you know what I mean. Takes cash or checks. read more

Home inspection was okay. I asked him for a referral to a plumbing inspector to inspect the sewer drain per his recommended. Interestingly, he referred me to another worker in his own company that inspects sewer drains. That's fine, but the guy that came had an incorrect diagnosis of the sewer drain. He couldn't get his camera through the cleanout pipes because of some blockage. That's not his fault by the way. He went to the roof to access the sewer drain from there, and his camera was able to get about 30 feet deep. Then he tells me that there's a bunch of roots and couldn't get through. That didn't seem right so I called another plumbing company, and they were able to go all the way through the sewer drain from the crawlspace... inspected the sewer drain 100ft deep and gave me a real diagnosis. The plumbing company also found a bunch of issues with the main plumbing below the house which the original home inspection from Bullseye missed. Bottomline: home inspection is good enough. However, get a real plumbing company for a proper inspection for the plumbing pipes. read more
