I guess the first sign was that there was no one really dining there, just one person drinking a coffee. But after we sat down, other people started coming in. I ordered a classic omelette, which comes with a side salad. I was expecting a nice, French omelette but was quickly disappointed when what came was just overcooked eggs. If I wanted overcooked eggs, I could have done so myself. The best part of the dish was the side salad. I also ordered a latte which was pricey at €5 (or maybe even 6?). I then overheard the waiter telling other tables about a breakfast prix fixe special, which was not offered to us. My husband had the croque madame, which he said was basic. When it came time to pay the bill, we wanted to pay with credit card but conveniently, their machine was down. He asked if we wanted to wait a few minutes to reset the system but we just decided to pay cash and get out of there. Maybe their lunch/dinner is better? Breakfast wasn't it though.

This is a sandwich on five-grain bread that contained ham, zucchini, eggplant, grilled peppers, mozzarella, Saint-Moret cheese, arugula, basil, and balsamic cream. They gave the option to add a soft-boiled egg to the sandwich, which I took. The sandwich was tasty - it got a little sloppy towards the end due to all the components but overall the flavors worked and it was high-quality sandwich.
