I think I love you. You have always hooked us up when we are in Paris and we just need some Korean soft drinks, snacks, soju, and spicy cup ramen. Love ramen when it is cold out. Especially when it is 5 degrees... So cold, butter starts to solidify shortly after hopping out of the pan. Gawd I love butter... Anyhow the hubs is lactose intolerant so the kimbab (Korean rolls) were a blessing. Decent kimbab even with vegetable substitutions. Assorted sushi and banchans (Korean side dishes). Vegan and vegetarian friendly! Ask for chopsticks if you need them. read more

This place is NO secret. It seems to be packed all day every day! I think all the Asians shop here when they have their Asiatic cravings! It's small compared to my LA standards but they will have almost everything you need. After a month in France, I generously helped myself to several packs of instant ramen, kimchi, and some banchan =) The instant ramen aisle is stocked with so many different flavors and brands to choose from. Prices are really affordable. Produce is not so great - but they do have all the hard stuff to get like daikon, shiso leaf, persian cucumbers, etc.. It's in the opera section close to plenty of Japanese ramen, izakaya, and korean restaurants. Come here for your kimchi craving! read more

As a Korean in Paris, this place is a must. I come here weekly to get my Korean food fix. They have everything I would find back home at Kmart stores in the states and then some! The store is well stocked and have everything from your Korean meats to sauces to instant food (that instant rice and ramen!!) to snacks to prepared foods (like banchan and dinner kits that you can just whip up at home) to fresh veggies to Korean drinks to homeware to frozen foods. They have it all. I shop for two people and my weekly groceries come out to about 70€/week but we buy a lot, and I mean a lot, of meat. Most of th employees are Korean but they speak English and French too. They accept bills 200€ and less. On Saturdays they get rice cakes which is such a gift here in Paris. The lines here get annoyingly long but keep in mind that they always have two lines so if one is too long, jump in the other. They don't consider it cutting. They have plastic and paper bags but it's best to bring your monoprix bag. A few steps away from the Pyramides metro, this place is a life saver for Koreans and Korean enthusiasts in Paris! **the only down side is that Ace has a membership where you can get a discount on weekends but unlike Ace, they are much bigger and have a meat section!! read more

For those of you who have a weak spot for Asian cuisine and love to cook at home - this little supermarket is a wonderful resource. I go here at least once a month to restock. K-Mart (unlike the large hypermarket bearing the same name in the US) is a quaint like shop with products from Japan and Korea. If you want to make dumplings or sushi from scratch , or just feel like eating a tasty bowl of ramen and frying up some frozen gyoza after a big night out, K-Mart has everything you need. There is a fresh fish counter - with the pieces cut perfectly for sushi preparation - and they have some nice choices too. They also have a wide selection of herbs and vegetables (avocado, cucumbers, cilantro/coriander, scallions, and even mango) to make your sushi come to life. And of course there is plenty of rice, seaweed, and vinegar to choose from and the appropriate Japanese beers (oh yes, even some craft beers) to go with your creation. If you want something more land-based - like dumplings - they have various meets all ground up and ready to make your filling (pork, chicken, beef). Then there are tons of prepared/frozen foods - lots of ramen packs of various sizes and qualities - as well as a freezer full of dumplings, gyoza, shumai, etc. There is kimchi, wasabi peas, seaweed salad, and dried seaweed snacks baked to crispy deliciousness with olive oil. If you go to town with some crazy ideas about how you want to transform your home into a sushi palace or a dumpling parlor, you probably won't leave for less than 80 euros. But if you don't have time to run all over town for ingredients - this is the spot for you. read more

Excellent spot!! They had all of my favorite stuff from Korea like almond Pepero, Chilsung Cider, Aloe juice, and more. There was a huge selection of ramens, sauces, fresh fish, tofu, noodles, and lots of other stuff. They also had an interesting assortment of French and American products... we thought this was probably so that people could make it a one-stop shop and get all their groceries at once. The prices for some things were outrageously expensive and the prices for other things were almost exactly what you'd pay in Korea. Be careful or you could spend way too much! We got out of there for just over 15 Euros, which I consider lucky considering I got a whole bag full of stuff. Pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon/evening. You can tell the place gets good business. Probably because they know what people like and they stock up well! Oh, and raspberry wine! read more

Wide range of choices for Korean and Japanese food. The price is rather high for what we buy but compared to other Asian stores in the area, it is acceptable. Plus, they have a catering section where they serve affordable and delicious take-out plates and a butcher section where you can get meat and fish perfect for preparing Asian plates at home. I believe that they even deliver for free but I have yet to use that service. read more

Quite pricey, but that's to be expected with specially imported items, so I happily paid. The only thing I couldn't bear to buy was the kimchi: 4 to 6 euros for the small packets barely a kilo, or 15 euros for a small plastic tub of it. I stumbled upon this gem when we were looking for restaurants in the area and I was absolutely astonished by a supermarket that sells all kinda of korean and japanese groceries, as well as freshly made korean food ready to be taken home (including all sorts of banchan and even onigiri). First time I was here i got some onigiri to chow on, and then i went and bought a ton of instant noodles. It's a tad on the expensive side, but being able to have access to all these things in Paris makes me quite happy. Will only take carte bleu (or bank cards) if you purchase over 15 euros. read more

Crowded, somewhat expensive, and a selection that's liable to vary wildly from trip to trip due to certain staples selling out... But it's not like there is a world of options for Korean grocery stores in Paris. The large majority of items available are Korean, along with a good selection of Japanese fare, and a few random Chinese things here and there. Aside from the obvious, one thing you can get here which is difficult to find elsewhere is good meat for bossam or ssamgyupsal. I haven't tried any of the pre-made items, but they look fresh enough. Finally, unless there's something specific you need, like daikon or perilla leaves, then give the veggies a miss. They're mostly old and overpriced. read more

This place is really tiny and looks a little worn down & thats why I'm giving it only three stars. I really want to give it more because I'm so happy to have found Korean/Japanese products... Its just that I really wanted kimchi but they only had large jars and they were pretty expensive. on the plus side: I did love that they have onigiri (japanese rice balls), so just that makes me want to give it an extra star! Hallelujah! There is a legit Korean market in Paris! Coming from Los Angeles, I wasn't expecting much in terms of a decent asian market, but was surprised and happy to find this place. It has everything you need to cook Korean dishes -- gochujang, red pepper flakes, soy sauce, packaged garlic, KIMCHI, odeng, packaged ramen, dduk, rice, and the list goes on! More importantly, they sell portable stoves, butane bottles, and round grills to cook gogi (meat)! They sell chadol (brisket) and samgyupsal (pork belly), which are all I need. They also sell Hite and Soju to complete the meal! read more

Lots of Korean food can be found here including frozen dumplings, Mochi desserts and bread as well as a fresh meat counter to get beef and chicken. Also a deli counter for take out food like pickled vegetable and onigiri and kimbap. Spices and sauces and rice can be found. Small but has everything you need that's KOREAN. I was so surprised by the collection of food they carried. Seemed like they ship a lot of it straight from Korea because I saw things I wasn't familiar with back in Los Angeles. They have little fried kimchi packets too if you crave some. I came here couple times during my 2 week stay and bought some good ingredients to cook with in my studio. This is how Korean survive in France hahah. read more

I miss when they had kimbap!! This is by far the best Korean/Japanese grocery I have been in Paris. They even have fresh ddeok delivery on Saturday (always disappears super fast). Great service, good prices. Sometimes more expensive than Ace Mart I noticed, but usually they are similar prices. Of course some things are really overpriced, but overall reasonable! I tried a lot of their banchan before which is normally quite good. The place is super clean with loads of variety, and fresh meat prepared for Asian dishes (thin cut meets and ground chicken). read more

I picked up a couple take away rice bowls of unagi and bim bap. they were pretty good. I was a little surprised they charge 0.50€ for a little soy sauce so I passed on that. they have a wide selection of chilled beverages. always looking for a new taste I tried something unique - a cinnamon punch. read more
