Trevin and his team have been great. I have had them out to the house twice. First time was to run a snake for a clog I had in my shower. They fixed that no problem. Then I had them come back for another clog in another bathroom, and I actually ended up replacing all the toilets in my house that same day. Bullet Plumbing is the best! Professional, timely and extremely knowledgeable! Our sewer line was clogged right before the holidays. They made our disaster, their priority. Our job was complicated. Given numerous 90 degree pipe turns, their new, state of the art hydro jet was not able to clear the clog. They came out the very next day,Saturday, and did a complete sewer clean out and installed an access point much closer to the main, which will help should we encounter another clog. I had Bullet Plumbing come out and replaced my water heater and toilet flush valve. It's cheaper overall if you have multiple things you need work for. Pricing was reasonable and Trevin did an amazing job. I called him on a weekend and he suggested I wait until Monday because the plumbing warehouse has better water heaters than the big box stores. He was very honest and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. Didn't try to upsell any additional or unnecessary work. And he's experienced in residential and commercial work. read more

Not sure why this company got 5 stars. To me, 5 stars are reserved for companies that do honest work, provide excellent service, don't take advantage of the situation, or try to gouge their customers. It was definitely not a 5 star experience, and in fact it felt us feeling a bit uneasy about hiring Bullet again. To replace a shower valve, Trevon from Bullet gave me an estimate over the phone between $1,100 and $1,500. I called a different company and got the same price range so decided to go with Bullet since they were available same day. When he got to the house, he looked around and said the price would be $1,300 for the work. Then, when it was time for the final bill, he charged us $1,400. His explanation was that he had to cut the opposite wall open. Also, he gave us the contact information for some handyman for drywall repair, I called the guy and he said he is not available indefinitely. I am now searching for someone who can patch the drywall, which is still open. Also, the house is older and the main valve to shut the water on/off is old. We noticed a small leak after they left and called Trevon. He said to do a few things to turn the leak off and it worked. He said the valve is old and needs to be fixed and that it's a 5 min job. But when my tenant pressed him to come take a look, suddenly the 5 min job turned into 2 hours of work. Why was there a leak in the first place? Now I have to hire a different company (definitely not hiring Bullet again or recommending them to anyone else) to fix this problem. When I called Trevon to explain all this, he defended his work and prices. His one statement that bothered me was, "if you're trying to get me to come back to fix the valve for free, that's not going to happen". He dropped a few F bombs too, had to tell him that there is no need for that language. Fine, it's not your problem, you fixed the shower valve and stormed out of there with your $1,400. Big thanks for the service bro. To me, 5 star is the gold standard so I give Bullet 3 stars for work performed with average service, but definitely not a 5 star experience and also not a company I would call on again. read more

I found Bullet on Nextdoor with over 180 recommended reviews, I reached out to a number of businesses and I liked the fact that Bullet validated my theory. Essentially agreeing that the root cause of my shower woes may be a faulty mixer cartridge. Trevin ordered a new cartridge (it wasn't available at the hardware store as the part of was end of life. He also called out that the pipes connecting my water heater to the water supply were dangerous and should be replaced -which he did. When Trevin returned later that week he replaced the cartridge and still no dice. He then checked the valve screws and it turned out they just needed resetting, the shower is better than it's ever been and we've been here for 7 years! Trevin also stated that the problem may return or may continue to work, I had the option to replace the valve. We agreed for now we'd monitor and if needed he could come back and replace it. I'm a pretty handy person but I draw the line at plumbing so it's great to find a reliable and friendly plumber. I found Bullet Plumbing on NextDoor and called them because the company I have relied on in the past, didn't get back to me. Trevin picked up my call and was able to come out the same day! I had a fairly simple kitchen sink backup and Trevin and his coworker (didn't get his name) snaked it for me. I explained to him my frequent experiences of having kitchen sink backups at this house and was advised to stop putting any food ie even small table scraps down the sink. This worked well for the last 3 years yet somehow it managed to backup once again. After a further inspection under the house (which previous plumbers never did), Trevin explained where the blockage was most likely coming from and suggested a sink line replacement and an addition of a clean out, which we didn't have. Trevin was able to come out again just a few days later to start the work. Trevin and his coworker did a great job! Reliable, quote was fair and overall great customer service. I had someone who had already agreed to come out but I got a reply to my request from this business saying "estimate: $80" and "availability: [today's date 12-2pm]. So I canceled the person I had coming out and booked this one through Yelp, receiving a "confirmed appointment." Then I got this message: "You need to call me for pricing and availability. Yelp makes me put a price down before I can reply. I just put 80 dollars." I called and he said he put down a "random" price and a "random" availability and said he didn't even know where I lived and whether he could help (despite that I'd put down my address on my service request.) I replied that those aren't supposed to be "random" and took them at face value, then gave the phone to my husband so he could explain the plumbing situation. The plumber said "Hey bro, I don't work for $80", at which point my husband said that we'd decline his service. He told my husband "Go fuck yourself, bitch." Lol we couldn't believe it. After we got off the phone we just laughed. Still don't have a plumbing appointment, though. 0/10 would not recommend Edit: The plumber claims I tried to "blackmail" him. This is not the case. I believe my exact words were "I would hope you'd honor the price you quoted me because I already cancelled another appointment based on your estimate." Never mentioned reviews on the phone whatsoever. This is an honest review of what happened with direct quotes where possible. Trying to say you said "Have a good day" when I clearly heard you curse at my husband through the phone is something else. I almost never post reviews but only did so in this case due to the exceptional experience. I'll provide a screenshot of the conversation so you all can see that, yes he says to call him for pricing and availability, but also clearly provides a price estimate and availability which allowed me to book and confirm, so I'm not sure why I wouldn't take that at face value. I had a slow drain issue due to a stuck (I assumed it to be not working and in need of replacement), loose and leaky garbage disposal. I called them on a Sunday afternoon and Trevin was super prompt to respond and setup time for Monday 9am. He and his partner, Matthew, were there at my door precisely at that time Trevin was fairly quick to assess how loose the garbage disposal setup was and how majority of plumbing crews aren't aware of the right way to set it up. Matthew rolled up his sleeves and helped set it up correctly, got the existing garbage disposal working and I got a smooth drain. All done in an hour! Both were also kind enough to setup my hand jet in the washrooms which wasn't part of the job discussed before. Trevin also helped educate me on how to ensure such incidents don't happen again and if they do how I can re-work the garbage disposal. I first saw the excellent reviews for Trevin and Bullet Plumbing on NextDoor and called him for replacement of our pressure regulator valve and some hose bibs that were stuccoed / painted over from the time we bought the house. Trevin was on-time, within or even below his initial estimate and the work was excellent. Even other plumbers who came for stuff like hot water installation commented on how good the work was. Most recently, we needed to cap a gas line and I had a shower where temperature was too cool and flow too weak. He made short work of these. Developed on a Sunday morning a pin-hole water leak in a joint on the copper hot water recirculating line coming from the water heater and feeding the home recirculating pump. Call Trevin at Bullet Plumbing and immediately scheduled an emergency visit. Trevin was able to be out to my house within an hour! He quickly replaced and welded into place a replacement copper pipe and joining elbows and sleeves. He thoroughly explained all aspects of the job and his work, pointing out code requirements and other invaluable information for a homeowner to know about the water heater, recirculating pump, and associated piping. When we had water backing up one night from our home's main drain, I contacted Trevin the next morning. He was very responsive and was able to snake the line that day. He followed up two days later with a camera and we could see where the backup was and that we needed to repair a section of pipe.
