European grocery stores are about $4 per 50g for the same herb, although less selection. Since that Walmart US, Walgreens and GNC US scandal I've been cautious of where and what I buy. I'd rather pay more for the real stuff than pay less for a ripoff, mixed diluted unknown possibly dangerous crap. This makes the whole supplement market look bad and just adds fuel to government regulations. By the way the government wants to put a special tax on Chinese Herbal medicine, only Chinese medicine. She kept asking us in this accusing tone. My mum was saying "I don't know how it happened but we had nothing to do with it." She just kept asking. I pointed out that a sign behind the nail polish had fallen over and knocked it off the shelf. She looked at the sign and said with massive attitude and a dirty look "Oh, that fell when you slammed the door." No comment on how we may possible have hot pink nail polish all over our clothes/shoes because this bottle literally burst a few feet in front of us (luckily we didn't), no kindness or benefit of the doubt in her voice at all. Just blaming attitude. Seriously poor customer service. Rude, arrogant and just plain stupid. A woman came out from behind the counter right away, I believe she was the owner. She watched the whole thing happen. All she did was ask if she could help us. No apology or comment on the situation. They must be hiring friends and family because this woman was a total bitch who has no customer service skills what so ever. Wont be shopping there again.

I reciprocated, intrigued by the fair-trade bananas from Ecuador and more. This store has a lot of vegan options. It also has gluten-free and keto items, but the vegan specialty items were prevalent. I loved seeing vegan meals in clear containers. I saw vegan marshmallows that aren't all that common. I was intrigued by the mushroom teas. I got one of the elixirs to try out. This place had coconut nog at a reduced price. I love the nog, except that it is super sweet. The price was right, though. You can get baking items and toothpaste here. I liked that the oral hygiene section was near the chocolate bars. Coincidence? I think not. I ended up getting a dark chocolate bar with coconut and skipped getting toothpaste. There was a bottle of The Good juice. It had celery, cucumber, and spinach in it. I liked the sound of that mix and got a bottle. I loved this store so much. I told the woman on staff that I loved shopping here. She was genuinely happy that I did. I paid with a debit card. All went well. I actually had my Yelp canvas bag with me that I got from Descendant. I used it to place all my goodies in it. Perfect! This market was a great find. Kombucha and almond milk are offered at fair prices. When I was picking up the tofu, I noticed most of them were expired. I managed to find one package that was not expired/close to expiring, however they should take their food safety a little more seriously. They also offer herbals meds, cosmetics, protein powders and more at this location. Service was a bit slow but usual for my experience at healthy planet.
