Something happened on the shelf and a nail polish bottle flew off the shelf and broke on the floor. The woman looked at my mum and I( who were still far away from the shelf, not touching it at all) and said "How did that happen?" with this dirty look on her face. She kept asking us in this accusing tone. My mum was saying "I don't know how it happened but we had nothing to do with it." She just kept asking. I pointed out that a sign behind the nail polish had fallen over and knocked it off the shelf. She looked at the sign and said with massive attitude and a dirty look "Oh, that fell when you slammed the door." No comment on how we may possible have hot pink nail polish all over our clothes/shoes because this bottle literally burst a few feet in front of us (luckily we didn't), no kindness or benefit of the doubt in her voice at all. Just blaming attitude. Seriously poor customer service. Rude, arrogant and just plain stupid. A woman came out from behind the counter right away, I believe she was the owner. She watched the whole thing happen. All she did was ask if she could help us. No apology or comment on the situation. They must be hiring friends and family because this woman was a total bitch who has no customer service skills what so ever. Wont be shopping there again.

Now this may not be Bulk Barns fault, it could be their supplier or others. But I gave them about a month and a half and I gave up. Some of the Chinese supermarkets puts them on sale and Costco is cheaper. That's my second beef: I thought buying in bulk with no name packaging was suppose to be cheaper than brand name and a box. Apparently not. They only really good thing is if you only need small quantities then pay a bit more, rather than buy a big box of something. There is no huge advantage to buying in bulk, it's too expensive.
