Buildingstars has been extremely difficult to work with, and they were also very difficult to terminate our relationship with. Their cleaning service was sub-par, and when I tried to end our contract, it required multiple notifications via Certified Mail with documentation of dates and photographs. Then after our contract was terminated for Nonperformance, they continued to send our accounting department invoices for several months. I would not recommend using this cleaning service, as they make you sign a contract, and it is very difficult to get out of it if you are unhappy with their poor performance. read more

As the owner of a business, I'm appalled at the way this business is run. The cleaners were scheduled to come at night after closing, but there was no oversight by the company to ensure the work was completed. The cleaning was simply bad. When we complained, the owners came to review the job and agreed with us that the work was done very poorly. But the issues continued for months even after several more complaints directly to the owners. There were several nights when the cleaners failed to show up at all, but claimed they were there for a full night of cleaning. We had video footage of the building proving the cleaners did not come in the building at all. But they just accused us of lying. At that point we tried to cancel our contract, which is allowed according to the contract if the services are not rendered effectively, which they very clearly weren't. The owners refused to allow us to cancel the contract, and continued to bill us for months AFTER they ended the cleaning services! Then they hired an attorney to collect and we ended up settling. We probably paid for an entire year of cleaning without any cleaning being done. It was a terrible experience. Stay away from this company. read more

We hired Building Stars to clean our commercial property a few months ago. We have had problems with them since the beginning, however, every month their progress seemed to regress. It got to the point where we were sent a new cleaning team within the company and it got even worse. We even printed spreadsheets out to help the crew navigate through what needed to be done. Went above and beyond and management was unresponsive and unreliable. Once we put in our notice to move on, the cleaning has practically been non existent. I have attached all the emails between Alex and myself regarding the poor & inconsistent service that was received from Building Stars, we will not be paying the bill as we had never gotten a full service from your company. There is no way that your crew leader Jane with her I don't care attitude is a professional cleaner she did what she wanted and didn't care about anyone else including Alex, my office was appalled with her shrugging her shoulders and throwing her head back when I was talking & showing Alex Things that were missed on the clean that is not how a professional person representing your company should be acting. When your crew set off the alarm we did not send the bill often the crew was out of here in 90 minutes and it showed when we came in on Mon and then they no showed us without even Alex knowing and I never did get an answer as to why. I just recently employed them after hearing about Buildingstars from my friends. So far it's been a great experience. The products and service they provide is great. The best part, it's very easy to get the hold of them if I have any questions or concerns. I liked that when they presented me with an offer, they were not pushy at all. Building Stars is the company I use to clean my small suite of offices. The pricing is very reasonable and the cleaning crew that comes through always does a great job and is very responsive if we do have problems. We had a plumbing issue and had some carpeting that had been stained with water. Building Stars had a carpet cleaner come through and got the carpet cleaned and free of odor.
