I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. The movers seemed to rush when it was time to unload the truck, leading to them breaking things and handling items carelessly. They were an hour and a half late for the move. In addition, they caused considerable damage to the walls of my newly built home. When I brought this up to the owner, he suggested that I use a magic eraser to fix it--unbelievable! They also damaged my glass dresser, which cost $2,700. Although the owner came to fix it, one of the drawers no longer stays closed. They broke my daughter's wooden dollhouse, seemingly out of laziness, and even damaged the screws on my dining room table, claiming it was just too heavy. The more I unpack, the more frustrated I become, especially since the move was quite expensive. In 2023, I paid $1,700, but in 2025, Carl offered me a discount due to the damage they caused and I ended up paying $1,170.
