I usually don't leave bad reviews, but I feel a responsibility to warn other parents in the St. Cloud area about this school's administrative and business practices. While we had a positive view of the teaching staff, the front office and administration operate with a "profit-over-students" mentality that is deeply unprofessional. Following our withdrawal, the school has intentionally withheld my son's academic progress reports and evaluations to use as collateral for a billing dispute. They are attempting to charge for tuition during a month in which my child did not attend a single day and are using his records to hold his future education hostage. Beyond the billing issues, I find the Parent Handbook rules to be overreaching and abusive. Most alarmingly, the handbook explicitly states that they can change any rule at any time without notice, leaving families with zero stability or protection. This level of obstruction has forced us to involve the Florida Department of Education and Step Up For Students compliance offices. If you want a school that values its families and acts with integrity during difficult transitions, look elsewhere. This is not a supportive or transparent educational environment. read more

A truly excellent school with an incredible group of kind, caring, sincere, and skilled group of educators. Since the first time we visited this place, we noticed how happy kids there were. Then when our son started, it was just great to see him with a big smile at the end of the day - to the point that he usually wanted to stayed at school past his pick up time. As if that wasn't enough, it was just awesome to see our son singing at home in multiple languages and teaching his little sister different words in the other languages he had learned at BB. There are not enough words to describe how great this school is. We are greatful our son had opportunity to attend Building Brains, the instruction, attention, guidance, and compassion that our son has received at BB has been amazing and undoubtedly effective. read more

As new parents, it was scary to think someone else would be taking care of our baby girl once we went back to work. That being said, I am SO THANKFUL for the women at Building Brains! In the infant class, Ms Jenny, Ms, Maritza, and Ms Lynette treat our daughter as if she is one of their own! In terms of cleanliness, I couldn't ask for more. The infant class has an 8 child capacity and is SPOTLESS. All babies are temperature checked when they arrive, and teachers are washing their hands constantly throughout the day. The toys all look brand new and everything is fully sterilized each night. My proof? Our daughter has yet to come home with any sort of sniffles or bug. In terms of learning- it's a full language immersion experience. This was key for us as we are monolingual and understand the significant advantage multilingualism can have for children and adults. More so, I am constantly receiving photos of her participating in physical, social, and cognitive developmental activities from tummy time to exercising, to fine-tune motor skills. The HiMama app has been a godsend! It's hard being away from your baby all day, especially as new parents. We receive notifications for eating, sleeping, and diaper changes- along with photos and videos of play time throughout the day! We can also communicate with the teachers throughout the day if needed all in the same app. Her smiles and giggles say it all- I can tell she is comfortable and WELL taken care of, and that is priceless for a mama!! I would recommend, and have recommended, Building Brains to all parents! read more

Friendly, kind and patient teachers! A comprehensive curriculum and healthy foods for the kids. These things make Building Brains Academy an amazing place for kids! After doing multiple school tours, I realized the Building Brains was the best choice for my children. I love the language immersion, the healthy menu that they provide, the curriculum and all of the extra activities offered (gardening, soccer). They have excellent security for the kids and use the Brightwheel app to keep you informed of your child's day. I felt at ease here and the love and care that the teachers have for the kids is obvious. My son loved his teacher immediately, my daughter has gotten really attached to one of her teachers. We have had such a great experience with BBA. After one bad experience at a nearby school, my husband and I have been overjoyed since switching to BBA. The teachers and the curriculum have helped my youngest daughter grow her verbal skills immensely. I'm fairly sure Ms Mariela and Ms Nayvi know magic in order to get a room full of 18 month olds to sit down to eat at a table without having chaos at the end of the meal. My oldest daughter came home the first day with nothing but positive comments. Knowing my shy, yet picky daughter, that is success by itself! Her drawing skills continue to improve, each day getting better. The administration is always ready to help and are flexible when situations change last minute. My daughter attended here. At the class #1 teachers were great and my baby girl loved it but at class #2 it was chaos, my daughter did not want to attend she cried a lot, there was a kid punching and hurting everyone.. it was horrible, I took her out after 2 weeks being there, the director wanted to keep charging my card omg! Her husband even sent an email and he does not even work there. It was scary! Thank God I pulled my girl out of there. read more

It is a wonderful daycare, the teachers, the administration and the menu is amazing. My son is in Mrs. Linda's class and he has a wonderful experience, she is very proactive, helpful and creative. I have been looking for this type of program since my daughter was born 8 years ago. Luckily my second child is still young enough to go to this school, just barely. If you have been searching for a preschool that offers love, caring attention, a family style run business, healthy food, clean environment, very secure and safe AND one that offers another language, this is it! Seems to good to be true, but after being here for just two short months, I'm so very happy! Next year is VPK for us and I will be sad to leave the school, we should all push for them to open a kindergarten program!!! read more
