From the moment we took a tour my daughter loved this place. She was reaching for everything wanting to play and even spoke to a few staff members. This was amazing to me because she was scared of talking to strangers. For her first few months I still lived in another state. Since she lived with dad, the ladies took care of doing her hair every morning for him which was a huge relief for me. Since moving to the sunshine state she even started to wear sunglasses all day long! Her teachers not only embraced her new habit but made sure to send her home with all her belongings everyday. They even helped label some items! I thought my daughter would be a bit behind because she was born almost 4 months premature. But that was not the case. Before I knew it she was eating more talking more and even using sign language as she spoke! My daughter has now been in KWLA for over a year. I have since moved over a half hour away but I gladly make the trip every morning afternoon to bring my daughter here. She speaks more than most kids her age, she is potty trained thanks to them, she has wonderful little habits like singing as she is completing a task, and she begs me to bring her to see her friends and teacher everyday. This is the only place I trust to take care of my daughter and I highly recommend them! Thank you KWLA for helping raise my little girl!

They really do love and care for your child and you notice it right away when you drop off in the morning and throughout the day as they keep you updated with activities through the app. They also have loads of events and activities throughout the school year and have two shows. All other daycares we visited didn't offer anything like this. Truly a great place to enroll your child in!

I went there first thing Monday morning to let the school know regarding both of my kids being sick with bilateral ear infection, RSV pneumonia with superimposed OC43 (COVID) infection, and due to illnesses were admitted to the hospital. Rather then expressing empathy his only concern was not to refund the money for the week, according to him all COVID mandates have been lifted and patient doesn't qualify for refund even if they were sick enough to be admitted to the hospital. Me being a physician I would never want to expose other children to any illness, but it seems like Brian doesn't have any ethical duty towards any of the kids there as long his weekly payments are collected. My first thought was let the kids get better and have them return but after this experience with "Mr. Dooshbag Brian" I've decided to not have kids stay enrolled. Pardon my language but I couldn't come up with better terminology to describe the owner and my experience.

Happy to report this place was a blessing to our family, we experienced nothing but the best service and our son was treated with respect and love. He enjoyed going to school and we saw a beautiful shift in his behavior and development after just one week of going to this school. The staff has been here for many years and that's something I loved as many places I visited before making my decision had new members or people that weren't as qualified. This place ran like a well oiled machine and we never once had a covid scare while attending this school. They run a tight ship and do it well. Only reason we pulled our son out of this school is because we are moving a few hours away otherwise we would have kept him here until he grew out of it. Highly recommend this location now known as DaVinci academy. Thank you for taking such amazing care of my son Sebastian and got making us feel so welcomed from day one.

They claim to be before enrolling but teachers like Ms. Ana say that your child "has something wrong with them" and that they "don't come to work to deal with one child." Some of the staff are nice but they're clearly not equipped to deal with children with disabilities and shouldn't profess to be. Also - very bad experience with "assessments" and eventually leaving the daycare.

Then when our son started, it was just great to see him with a big smile at the end of the day - to the point that he usually wanted to stayed at school past his pick up time. As if that wasn't enough, it was just awesome to see our son singing at home in multiple languages and teaching his little sister different words in the other languages he had learned at BB. There are not enough words to describe how great this school is. We are greatful our son had opportunity to attend Building Brains, the instruction, attention, guidance, and compassion that our son has received at BB has been amazing and undoubtedly effective.

While we had a positive view of the teaching staff, the front office and administration operate with a "profit-over-students" mentality that is deeply unprofessional. Following our withdrawal, the school has intentionally withheld my son's academic progress reports and evaluations to use as collateral for a billing dispute. They are attempting to charge for tuition during a month in which my child did not attend a single day and are using his records to hold his future education hostage. Beyond the billing issues, I find the Parent Handbook rules to be overreaching and abusive. Most alarmingly, the handbook explicitly states that they can change any rule at any time without notice, leaving families with zero stability or protection. This level of obstruction has forced us to involve the Florida Department of Education and Step Up For Students compliance offices. If you want a school that values its families and acts with integrity during difficult transitions, look elsewhere. This is not a supportive or transparent educational environment.
