We'll Floor U was recommended by a local interior designer. Ordering the floors and splitting the…read moreinstallation between two projects was handled well. The second project was in a garage conversion and installed in a timely manner. After the install I realized that the garage floors were about as level as the ocean in 3 foot seas I reached back out to them. Called to ask why the floors were installed and the level wasn't checked before install. LVT is has pretty strict tolerances the manufacture puts out to avoid failures down the line and to adhere to the manufacturers warranty. In prior houses the installers would check the level of the floors and perform the necessary steps to make sure the floors could be installed. Their initial quote included the following as well "Any unforeseen floor prep or labor will be determined upon installation and billed accordingly. " Someone from We'll Floor U came out after a couple calls and insisted the floors were fine and there would be no issues. Even as they watched a marble roll across two rooms at speed. They said they could remove the floor, level them and reinstall the floors. We would only have to pay for the leveling. Cool a couple $30-$50 dollar bags of leveler spread over a 20x40 room, shouldn't be that expensive. Nope, the quoted us a couple thousand dollars to spread the leveler. Clearly they were trying to charge us for their mistake. Needless to say it didn't happen. So here we are, patiently waiting for our LVT floors to separate and fail as we bounce up and down on the soft spots on the unlevel subfloor. Do yourself a favor and skip this place when shopping for new floors.

We went chose a carpet then before we left, we selected something different. Pete came out and measured; the team came out and installed the carpet which we had to prepare for before the installation. When I went to check their work...They installed the wrong carpet. I contacted Pete and shared a picture of the sample he gave me vs what was installed. He called me and told me that the carpet they installed is better than what we chose so he's sure it looks great. I told him it didn't, but it's irrelevant since it's done. Not even an apology. I told him I would like to confirm I paid for the carpet I wanted (which was cheaper) and not the carpet he gave us. He said he'll call me Monday he doesn't have the information. Never got a call Monday. So I followed up and asked for my receipt. Which shows we were charged for the carpet they installed. To which he replied with a whole new story "WE did not have enough of the other carpet. There's only 20 feet on it. I thought we had discussed that because I didn't pick a cookie dough for you". I told him I was highly disappointed with this entire experience. We did not talk about switching the order back, I also requested a call back...which didn't happen. And now there is a fictitious story and all the while not even an apology. I closed with "we will not be using your company for ANYTHING in the future." His response "I'm sorry for the disappointment you were shown some samples sometimes the rolls aren't large enough...I'll make sure when the next experience that I make it up to you...I can't remember the exact line of communication because I deal with a lot of different sales, but I've been doing this for 21 years and usually do the same thing every time if I did and I apologize....That is really nice carpet." Lost a customer Bob, thank Pete. I'll do my best to share this around so others aren't impacted the way we were.

Recently, I noticed a small crack near where the garage door closes. When I called about it, the owner himself called me back personally, which I really appreciated. He sent out an employee, Ray Anderson, who was respectful, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in doing the job right. I wanted to write this review because good follow-through after the sale says a lot about a company. It would have been easy for them to brush off a small issue years after the original job, but instead they treated it seriously and professionally. I'll absolutely no use Garage Tactic again for any future projects, and I hope other customers get the same level of care and attention I did.
