People in Florence SUCK at leaving reviews. It's one reason why so many people get garbage work…read moredone and have terrible contractors half the time. I was at Lowe's looking for a to let seat hinge. Unfortunately, Lowes didn't have any but a couple guys at Lowe's said Carolina Supplyhouse might have one. I drove over there not knowing what to expect, but I was greeted when I walked in and the cashier directed me to the back desk. Once I got there, they said they don't have hinges but have the whole seat due to many different kid of seats, same thing Lowes told me. I noticed the exact toilet seat I needed there and also noticed it was $10 cheaper than the toilet seats at Lowe's. I bought it and went home to do the easy install. I asked a couple people if they knew how good Carolina Supplyhouse was and they both said, "Yeah they're great. I go there all the time." I'm like, why don't y'all leave them a review so people that use Yelp will know? Anyways, that's what I'm doing now. They're professional, funny, and will help you best they can.

From the owner: Where hardware and contractor supplies has been a family tradition…read more In the early 1900's Robert P. Schofield Sr. established Schofield Hardware in the 100 Block of West Evans Street in Florence. In 1950 the store moved to a larger facility at 276 W. Evans Street. In 1960 Robert P. Schofield Sr. passed away and left the operation to his two sons Robert and Charles who operated the store at that location until 1963 when it was moved to new facilities on Cashua Drive in Florence. In 1967 Robert and Charles Schofield separated their business relationship. Charles and his two sons, Marshall and James at that time owned and operated the Heritage Inn and Restaurant in Florence along with several shopping center real estate holdings. In the early 1970's, Robert Schofield sold Schofield Hardware to outside investors. In January of 1985 Carolina Hardware & Supply Inc. opened its doors for business. Charles, Marshall and James Schofield along with John Frank established this company in a 24,000 square foot facility on 3 acres of land. In 1996 the name of the company was changed to, Carolina SupplyHouse, Inc. which now occupies 125,000 square feet of warehouse facilities on 12 acres of land. Carolina SupplyHouse, Inc. employees have many years of experience in the construction and contracting industry. This "real world" experience allows our staff to help our customers find solutions to their problems.
