My mom loves Lowe's. Everywhere we go, she must stop by a Lowe's and check out their flowers and plants! There's always a rack of discounted flowers and plants at the back of the gardening section at each location. They tend to have some pretty good deals on the rack (per my mom). The store is clean, well lit and well organized. The sales associates were friendly. They have a ton of real Christmas trees--small potted ones and medium/large cut ones. There's also a nice selection of artificial trees and indoor/outdoor holiday decor.

Stopped off at this Lowes since I was in the area and had such a bad experience at the one in Conway (see that updated review). Has a better experience this time here. Had no difficulty finding sales assistance and located all the items I needed. Not sure what has changed over the years, service at Lowes and Home Depot used to be so much better. I recall multiple salespersons offering assistance while shopping in the past. I guess cost cutting measures have cut staff. That seems to be the mantra from the salespersons I spoke to when I asked. But either way, it is still a place to compare multiple items.

Here with my family, buying a lot of stuff for renovation projects. Went off to use the bathroom, and spoke to 4 different white dudes sending me on a damn goose hunt for the restroom. Sounds dumb but like- they all said different directions. And they were grinning each time. This shit is not a game, like I'm not dumb, I'm competent, but this store is huge and I don't appreciate being lead the wrong way to URINATE. FREE THE PEE

People in Florence SUCK at leaving reviews. It's one reason why so many people get garbage work…read moredone and have terrible contractors half the time. I was at Lowe's looking for a to let seat hinge. Unfortunately, Lowes didn't have any but a couple guys at Lowe's said Carolina Supplyhouse might have one. I drove over there not knowing what to expect, but I was greeted when I walked in and the cashier directed me to the back desk. Once I got there, they said they don't have hinges but have the whole seat due to many different kid of seats, same thing Lowes told me. I noticed the exact toilet seat I needed there and also noticed it was $10 cheaper than the toilet seats at Lowe's. I bought it and went home to do the easy install. I asked a couple people if they knew how good Carolina Supplyhouse was and they both said, "Yeah they're great. I go there all the time." I'm like, why don't y'all leave them a review so people that use Yelp will know? Anyways, that's what I'm doing now. They're professional, funny, and will help you best they can.

From the owner: Where hardware and contractor supplies has been a family tradition…read more In the early 1900's Robert P. Schofield Sr. established Schofield Hardware in the 100 Block of West Evans Street in Florence. In 1950 the store moved to a larger facility at 276 W. Evans Street. In 1960 Robert P. Schofield Sr. passed away and left the operation to his two sons Robert and Charles who operated the store at that location until 1963 when it was moved to new facilities on Cashua Drive in Florence. In 1967 Robert and Charles Schofield separated their business relationship. Charles and his two sons, Marshall and James at that time owned and operated the Heritage Inn and Restaurant in Florence along with several shopping center real estate holdings. In the early 1970's, Robert Schofield sold Schofield Hardware to outside investors. In January of 1985 Carolina Hardware & Supply Inc. opened its doors for business. Charles, Marshall and James Schofield along with John Frank established this company in a 24,000 square foot facility on 3 acres of land. In 1996 the name of the company was changed to, Carolina SupplyHouse, Inc. which now occupies 125,000 square feet of warehouse facilities on 12 acres of land. Carolina SupplyHouse, Inc. employees have many years of experience in the construction and contracting industry. This "real world" experience allows our staff to help our customers find solutions to their problems.
