We had such a wonderful experience at Lowe's thanks to an employee named Timothy. His kindness and customer service stood out so much that we felt he deserved to be recognized. We had gone down several aisles looking for something and were obviously having trouble finding what we needed. Timothy noticed us and, without us even having to track someone down, came over and asked if he could help. After we explained what we were looking for, he immediately knew what might work for us. What impressed us even more was that Timothy didn't simply tell us which aisle to go to and send us on our way. He personally walked us to the aisle, showed us exactly what he thought we needed, and he was spot on! Timothy was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely available to help. Even as we were leaving, he asked if there was anything else he could help us with. That small gesture said so much about the kind of person he is. Great customer service can make such a difference, and Timothy is a perfect example of that. Lowe's has gotten weird over the past few years with Covid and thefts and all the rest. The service is self-service unless you need help with a register and paying them. Everything is locked up. It's like going to an online store in person. It's pretty clean which makes a big difference to me. No one likes filthy stores. read more

Asked lumber dept employee for help putting plywood on cart and was told no as he walked by with his cellphone in hand.. Went to cashier and asked for manager - She asked why so explained what happens - she went to other employee and he said we didn't ask for help. She offered to help but that wasn't the point - she said we didn't need a manager bc she would help . I was just here with my parents who have a 3 year warranty on an item that broke. The cashier did not know how to help us and requested management several times and I also asked another employee to contact a manager because we were waiting so long. Nobody ever came but I did request the managers name which I believe is John Hugh. The management here is atrocious and honestly just do better. Your employees are literally walking out on the spot and you are losing your customers with the lack of customer care offered. Do not shop here if you can help it. read more

I went to Lowe's Pamplico today for screws. I ended up in the clearance section. There were ceramic pots on sale for $16 with an s sign that said "take an ADDITIONAL 75% off clearance items. I brought the pot to the cashier who said it wasn't ringing up with the additional %off. She told me I needed to go to customer service. I told cs what the problem was and was told I had to talk to the manager of cs. Fine. She (cs mgr) rang the pot up and it rang to the original price. Not even to the sale price without the additional discount. When I told her about the signs she argued with me about the signs advertising the prices. I didn't have my phone with me to go to the section and take a picture of it. This is the 3rd time in 3 weeks this has happened. I had to prove to Lowe's personal the computer prices and their markdown prices were incorrect. DO BETTER LOWES. GET PERSONAL THAT WONT ARGUE WITH YOU ABOUT THE PRICE BUT WILL GO CHECK. read more

Who said poor customer service is bad? I was pressure washing my driveway when I noticed the water pressure was very poor. I decided I needed a more powerful pressure washer and went to lowes on freedom blvd. I spent some time looking at a green works and a craftsman and made the choice to buy the craftsman at $349.00. I asked the employee if they had it in a box, he said yep, aisle 28 and then walked away. I went to the aisle and looked and waited for help, none came. It was then I saw a nozzle attachment that said it increased the pressure and I bought it for $64.00. On my way down the aisle I saw the employee and two others, no help offered. Took the nozzle home and it worked. So I want say thanks to the poor customer service that saved me $300.00! read more

We've shopped at this location about a dozen times now, and if we could go somewhere close by that offered the items this store has, we would. If you asked me what store offers some of the most cringe-worthy customer service, I would tell you it is at this Lowes location. If I could, based on the epic failures in basic, decent customer service and treatment of paying patrons, I would give this store a -5. Terrible experiences. When we've shopped at this location, and asked for assistance to locate simple items in-store, those associates we spoke with gave short answers, and the "point-and-good luck" verbiage and body language (they walk away from us). They must have something better to do than provide customers any useful assistance, to be acting this way. This has happened on all except one occasion when we've shopped there. It leaves you feeling like you're totally bothering them. Recently, we went in-store and need to ask about an item that their website listed as being in stock, but we could not find on the shelves. It happens a lot in large stores like this, that the inventory and website listings don't jive, therefore it's best to check with real-live store employees. We spotted a team member whom we clearly watched/heard chit-chatting with another customer for a solid 10 mins. We believed it was acceptable to ask this associate for help since they were talking about personal things. I politely approached and asked the associate for his help. This man gave us several reasons why he could not help: "was about to help this other guy with a BIG order and would be tied up", didn't want to "waste our time and tell us the item was in stock when it wasn't, so best y'all go check in with customer service and just order it ", then he went as far as telling us this was just his "Harley money job", so he wasn't really knowledgeable. WHUUUT?!?! Needless to say, we thanked him, walked away with our jaws dragging on the ground behind us to fend for ourselves. We made our way to the customer service counter. CSR Trista treated us like second class 7 year olds, and could not have been more abrasive or concescending. There was a gross lack of basic manners (no please, thank you, nothing) from her, and talking under her breath, then to her team members without acknowledging what we were asking... even when I politely asked for her to repeat since I didn't hear what she'd said. It is truly sad when a young person such as her, offers ZERO acknowledgement that a Veteran (my husband) was politely and very patiently asking for her help. Shame on her behaviour. Finally, I highly discourage any customer from calling into customer service for this location. The three times I tried (diff days of the week, and various times of day/evening), you will end up having to struggle with the voice recognition systems, then if you opt for customer service, it will ring into oblivion, often between the 5 to 8 minute mark, only to end up having someone disconnect you. My last experience with this, I called, did the voice recognition saga, then finally spoke with a lady named Jasmine. Once again, I was treated like sub-human chewed gum. There is absolutely no reason for a CUSTOMER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE to speak to customers the way these ladies spoke to us. I called in to cancel an order and was barked at, cut off and given short/rude answers combined with the absolute sound of boredom when I asked for a confirmation of the payment being returned to our credit card. I was told "nope". When I asked for a confirmation number, an email, could I speak with a supervisor/manager, she rudely placed me on hold while I was still asking my question, on hold for nearly 10 minutes, then she disconnected the call. I rarely write this kind of review and always try to find the good in all experiences. We found out there is another Lowes store and a Home Depot in the area. We are done with this Lowes location. Not worth the horrible treatment. Not spending our money there again. Ever. read more

I have visited this Lowes on several occasions while working on a construction project in Florence. Larry that works in the lumber area is phenomenal. He has stopped on more than one occasion to assist in loading lumber without even asking for help. His attention to customer service is exemplary. Absolutely atrocious customer service. I don't live in Florence, but was desperately looking for particular vanity lights and this location had 3 left. I placed my online order and waited and waited for a confirmation email. 7 hours later I decided to call and check on the status...no one had ever even looked at my order! In 7 hours! Finally they called back to let me know that they only had 2 available, not 3. I asked why no one had processed my order until I called and if it was possible that the third light had been sold in between that time, the sales rep began to ramble about how it's hard she's the only one there and I could speak to a manager if I wanted, so I said ok. While waiting to speak with the manager I was hung up on so I called back and said, "Hi, yes, I was holding to speak to the manager." And received a, "uhhhrm okaayyy". Well after about 4 transfers I finally got to speak with Rick who said he'd look into it and couldn't give a good explanation as to why it would take them so long to look at the online order. I got a call back from the same employee who let me know they only had 2, that the third light was on display. I asked if I could have the display and she literally said, "it's hooked up." ....so drive an hour and a half to get the 2 lights and not even exaggerating, wait 70 minutes to pick up an online order that's already been paid!!! In this time we asked again about the display light, and they say they'll ask electrical, but then reply, "oh we can't give you the display because it turns out we are getting more of these lights. Lights that are on clearance...can't even be ordered online...and they are supposedly receiving more. Sounds more like lazy employees. To add to it, I searched another Lowe's location for the light, and this Lowe's employee let me know right away they didn't have the 1 light I needed, but he added that they could take the display down and even discount it...I didn't even have to ask! The employee just thought of it on his own! Long story short, this location needs to hire quality employees. As a customer I shouldn't have to inconvenience you to do your job. Ordered insulation and given date and time of delivery window as Saturday 8 am to 8 pm. (Is this a window or an entire day?) After waiting at home I called Lowes at 15:30 to ask about delivery and was told order had been canceled the previous Thursday by Lowes employee! Lowes neither called nor emailed that information. I love this Lowe's ! I have not had any bad experiences ever. I have had an on going MIS-communication with every Lowe's location regarding my veteran status but thanks to Alanda she was able to fix it once and for all. I hope. The issue has always been that each different Lowe's use a different address for me. Primarily because I have several rental properties and like to track the purchase separately, even though MYLowes ignores it. This the most unfriendly group of employees I've ever seen. Rude, and unhelpful. Especially the girl in contract sales checkout. (3/31/19 @ 10am) my husband asked for assistance in power tools, he got an eye roll and a "well, someone is supposed to be there) then she went back to laying over the register. I had a large cart on the lumber aisle loading 8 foot boards. Already upsetting because I was having to crawl in between the shelves to select the boards and they were high off the ground,,when 2 employees with some type of large machine came down the aisle in my direction, one was walking in front of the machine. The other driving. The one in front shouted at me "Coming through maam,, coming through " , expecting me to move the heavy cart with lumber out of their way. Which would have required moving it all the way to the end of the aisle and coming back because there were large carts lined up all the way down the center of the aisle. They didn't offer to help move the cart. Just stood there and looked at me like I was supposed to stop what I was doing and just get out of their way. I told them they would have to wait until I finished. I only needed one more board which was at the very back. So they stood and watched me try to dig out the board from the back, never offered to assist. Very, very rude. I didn't get the last board, I was so upset by then I just left it and went to check out. I told the cashier what happened and she just smiled. Didn't say a thing. I paid for the boards and left. I had a lot more items I needed to purchase but did not get them and they will not be purchased from this store! read more

Lazy employees and sorry customer service. Friday December 4th between 6pm and 7pm. No carts anywhere to be found in the lumber area. We and other customers had to go to the parking lot for carts while employees stood around talking. One lone guy was pulling lumber to the front of the bins even he ignored us but atleast he was working.No one asked if we needed help. Granted we bought over $400.00 in lumber and materials. Loaded and unloaded them ourselves. It's a shame when two old folks out work today's generation. Next time Home Depot gets my money! read more

Beware to buyers with pickups. I had to go into the Florence Lowes at approximately 5pm 2/07/2019 to get lumber and supplies for a job. After my purchase I loaded my material in my truck and proceeded home for the evening. Today 2/08/2019 I found that a plastic container with approximately $600 in tools was missing. The container was there before I went into Lowes and my vehicle was parked in secure parking when I arrived home. Theft is very irritating but as my license plate clearly states it take a low person to steal from a disabled veteran. read more

Service at this store after 5 pm is terrible. Waited over 45 minutes for someone to assist us and even after asking two wandering associates for help none ever came. We finally left.
