My son was on a 4th floor apartment the furthest you could be from any door with a move to another apartment complex. I closed my apple watch steps and workout ring more than TWICE today if that gives you any idea... Jordan, Pierce and Kyle have to be the hardest working AND the darn nicest movers in the entire universe. Not one thing was broken, not one wall or piece of furniture was scratched. And they were so kind and cheerful- like how in the tarnation could anyone be so polite and happy while lifting heavy yhings in sweltering Columbia heat all freaking day?? And yet- they absolutely were. We ended up hiring these guys after our original move in date was botched and it was honestly a blessing in disguise. If you need anything moved- call them. We spent the evening cleaning and unpacking and I wished I could have kept those boys with us. They are THAT good! I owe the friend who recommended them a drink, or maybe a kidney or something if they ever need one because that was hands down the best recommendation I have ever been given! #bestmoversever #gamecockmovers #junioryearloading

They lost all the pieces to my 3 dresser mirrors, they had them mixed up with the wrong dressers and time was ticking. They left some furniture peices at the loading address so they couldn't install 1 set. They were nice young men but they did not have the strength to take some of my furniture upstairs. They really struggled. When reinstalling some of the furniture pieces, they were confused on how to put them back together. I called the manager and told him my concerns that these guys may need one other person. But he said he would have to charge me, instead of just satisfying the customer. It got very frustrating for me as a customer. I will never hire these guys again!

I had my floors refinished and needed furniture brought back in the house from the garage. The movers were careless and unfortunately scratched and gouged up my newly refinished floors in damages worth in the amount of $1,500. Their explanation was because I only purchased the basic insurance they were not responsible and that I would not need reimbursed for the extra cost to repair it. Avoid hiring Two Men and a Truck at all costs. They have proven that they can damage your property and not be held responsible for it.

I was just making a cross town move and had also heard the owner speak to a ciciv group. To my dismay their crew didn't properly wrap and pack items - the excuse..."we ran out of packing paper, tape and boxes" (mind you their hub was no more than 2-3 miles from my house so more supplies could have been delivered.) Additionally, they dumped entire drawers into boxes - think knives loosely dumped into a box with full silverware trays and glasses. Oh, and packing a Fry Daddy full of oil, which splashed around in the box and on other items....not to mention no labeling of boxes. The ultimate disaster was that they left items/furniture at the house. I just happened to go by the house and found 2 full pick up truck loads that 2 Men and a Truck didn't happen to let me know were left. Had I been making a long distance move I might not have known until I was on the other end. I never received a follow up check in call like I have from other moving companies. I felt overwhelmingly disappointed. I would recommend anyone in this area needing a mover to USE ANYONE ELSE. Rather than making my move easier, 2 men & a Truck doubled my work and cost me 2k. Just say no.

*PLEASE READ PRIOR TO SELECTING THIS VENDOR* Great…read moreorganization on the front end, with pricing, coordination, responsiveness and scheduling. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. My family and I move nearly evey two (2) years with my profession so we're no strangers to the process. The movers were on time, and average to good with the pace and care of loading and unloading. We had negotiated the assembly of all furniture as part of the base price, to include; beds, crib, table, living room furniture, etc.). These were not difficult pieces, but I'm not embellishing when I say that I've had to tighten and add missed bolts/screws on every piece of furniture that they reassembled. A leg to our living room Tv stand split because the bolt was inserted but not tightened. There was no consideration taken to the bed slats and they all freaked until spaced correctly. The big one. They had a couch to move into an upstairs living room. Straight shot, wide stairwell until the top where it teed into the hallway. Their four-man crew managed to put a 12"x3" rip/tear/gaping hole into the drywall ceiling of the home that we had just closed on. Furthermore the couch was jambed into the position and they were continuing to force it further and further into the attic! Additional damage was caused to two light fixtures, the adjoining walls, damaged couch and wall corners and the general mess of stomped gypsum board and installation throughout the hallways and stairs. In addition, the entire process took nearly 1.5hrs of paid time while three (3) of the four employees worked through the conundrum. Their Director/Forman and whom appears to be the company lead, 'Jerome Williams' arrived and they had the couch dislodged, and in the room in less than 3 minutes with no further damage. The point of this being, it was a relatively easy configuration and the damage shouldn't have taken place. Helping Hands identified the damage, took ownership and made attempts to honor it with reductions to final bill. Jerome requested that he make the drywall repairs internally to save on the costs. I agreed to that they scheduled a return trip the following day. You guessed it "No Show". I had to reach out to multiple numbers and emails for two weeks to run them down. Finally got Connected and they scheduled another Saturday at 10am. Again, "No Show" at the scheduled time and I (the customer) had to make multiple calls to coordinate. One guy shows up 2.5hrs later, with spackle and a puffy knife. I had to inform him that he would need, a piece of drywall, drywall tape, a drop cloth and matching paint for the walls. We had gone over all of this and they made a list during the move when we initially scheduled the return remediation work. He returned from Lowes two hours later with necessary materials and a helper. They patched the drywall and mudded it. I should note that when I came back in the house from performing yard work, there was a third person in my home. Apparently one of the guys girlfriends needed to see him and was allowed in the home. I certainly didn't mind the added guest, but usually that's discussed with the customer before an outside friend is invited into the homeowners property unannounced. The mud had to dry and they scheduled a return trip to sand and paint. We had family visiting, so we had to reschedule. You guessed it, "No Show" and I've made multiple contact attempts with Jerome and the company to provide additional opportunities to remedy before leaving this review. No response to date, and the damage happened in May. RECOMMENDATION, USE ANOTHER VENDOR.
