He offered the best quote of any other company - almost half of other quotes we got. Our movers were Elijah and Charles. They were super friendly when we met. I had my floors refinished and needed furniture brought back in the house from the garage. The movers were careless and unfortunately scratched and gouged up my newly refinished floors in damages worth in the amount of $1,500. Their explanation was because I only purchased the basic insurance they were not responsible and that I would not need reimbursed for the extra cost to repair it. Avoid hiring Two Men and a Truck at all costs. They have proven that they can damage your property and not be held responsible for it.

However, I was never quoted a price before, partially my fault for not asking. They showed up one hour late. They did contact me at 7:30a for a 9 am move. They sort of stood around about 15 minutes before they even spoke to me. Just be aware that they charge you for a full hour even if they have gone over just 15 minutes (my case). There were so many smoke breaks...of various kinds, if ya know what I mean. One of them took a #2 in my bathroom, which dirtied the clean toilet and when I went in, the towel rack was on the floor??? So I had to repair that. Also they forgot the receipt that I was supposed to sign, so there was some extra effort on my part during a very stressful move. I was so hoping it would be like the other reviews.

The best suggestion I can give is but one size boxes do you can stack well. We put our boxes on first up front and bought a couple sheets of OSB Plywood to strap them in. Then we loaded all the other stuff that was harder to stack, strapping where I could and nailed short 2x4 pieces to the floor to minimize sliding. Our 23 foot load arrived 550 miles later in excellent condition. Bought our straps at harbor freight along with moving blankets. Can be tricky to attack straps to side walls but possibly.
