The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, so this review is not about the service…read more We decided to visit because of the great reviews, and our 3.5-year-old was excited by the entrance. What we didn't realize is that the museum has a lot of very lifelike mannequins and human figures right from the entrance and in the first room. Both my son and I are uncomfortable with realistic mannequins, and we were surprised by how many there were. We ended up leaving after less than a minute. It was disappointing to lose the admission fee, but we were simply too uncomfortable to continue. I'm giving 4 stars because I don't think it's a bad museum--it just wasn't a good fit for us. I mainly wanted to mention the mannequins because I didn't see that in other reviews. If you or your children are sensitive to lifelike human figures, it's something to be aware of before buying tickets.

Pretty sure the spinning thing that make you feel like you're the one spinning, not the walls, was all of our favorite. We used Groupon for the tickets but Groupon kept messing up & wouldn't open the voucher. The guy at the entrance was awesome, he honored our tickets knowing Groupon kept messing up. Thank you!

I enrolled two kids (ages 8 and 11) in the Sk8gym summer camp program the week of July 20th. The…read moreteenage instructors were great with the kids, but the camp leadership and overall management tone made for a negative experience. Throughout the week, both of the kids reported a that instructor/owner was frequently shouting and harshly reprimanding young campers and the teenage instructors. During the final session, when the 11-year-old specifically asked the instructor/owner for guidance on how to ollie, instead of receiving coaching, he was told he could never learn the trick because of how he pushed on the skateboard. This left him in tears. Mind this is a camp to teach kids how to skate - of course they are not experts. When I contacted management directly to raise concerns about how the situation was handled, they refused to offer any accountability and instead placed the blame back on the child. While the staff on the ground are doing their best, I cannot recommend this camp due to management's unsupportive and harsh approach. Learning to skateboard should be a fun and welcoming atmosphere. This was not that.

(Without going into detail, the reason was their fault, not mine.) As other reviews suggested, the owners delayed responding, blamed me, threatened me with a fee for the refund.... By the way, there's no way to contact an actual human being in "real time" -- no phone, no chat, just an email. The instructor who gave the lesson was good, very encouraging and clearly a great instructor. If I could rate the instructor alone, I would give a 5-star review. However, the overall experience really soured me to going back... ever. I'll go to the Church of 8 Wheels from here forward.

In one week, my teen learned how to make a layered buttercream cake, fruit tarts, cinnamon rolls, royal icing cookies, and more--all from scratch! She loved the experience, and it definitely boosted her confidence in baking. It wasn't just simple baking either--Chef Mo used unique ingredients like coconut sugar and fresh cream, achieving a perfect level of sweetness that wasn't overpowering. My husband and I highly recommend this camp to any budding chef or baker, or any child who wants to give it a try. Chef Mo was so friendly and accommodating--a truly great teacher. We don't have any pictures, unfortunately, because the whole family eagerly devoured everything at the end of each day, even my son, who never likes cake. He claimed it was the best cake he's ever tasted and that we should use the recipe for his upcoming birthday.

She was incredibly patient, clear, and accommodating in both the planning of the event, and the event itself. The food was delicious and many of our team members expressed excitement about making the dishes themselves in the future. She offered a playlist of music, ensured the menu met all dietary restrictions, and even included knife safety and technique for those who were beginners. Perhaps most importantly Chef Mo created a fun environment that was accepting in a way that allowed everyone to try new things and even make mistakes without fear of judgement. We can't recommend her enough! --
