There was a birthday party going on in the party room, and almost every table in the main section was taken. There's a set fee of $9 per painter for the studio fee, and then you pay for the price of whichever piece you select. Then you get to pick five colors to put on your palette. My daughters had fun painting. They are probably little for this activity, but it's been so cold out that we just wanted something new to do. If you have littles I'd just encourage you to pick an easy piece. We actually missed an entire wall of kid friendly pieces, so I wish we knew about that. They have a good selection of pieces to paint, and I can definitely see us coming back here again in the future, and also might even consider it for my daughter's fifth birthday party!

Other than that, it's a nice spot to hand and check out the pond. Besides the fact that it gets mobbed and parking is hard to find, I would come for a hike.

A Place for Baseball Games Off West Main…read more Stumbled onto this place after dropping of some donations at Goodwill in Rockaway. My son wanted to try to get in some playground time before the rain started so I headed towards some green spaces just up the road that might have had something to offer. We lucked out when we found Donatoni Community Park. This park is tucked away off of the street and you would only notice it by the single road sign or the play structure next to the parking lot. The parking lot is flanked by 2 baseball fields and a playground. The playground is small but pretty awesome. It is designed for 5-12 year olds and offers slides, climbing structures, and crawling structures. All the "active" spaces at this park are in full sun. There is a concession stand area with a covered picnic table area next to the playground. I assume the stand is only open during large gaming events. I wasn't able to find any bathrooms during our short stay as the rain came shortly after we arrived. This must be a quite place when there aren't any baseball games going on as kids were biking in the parking lot while their parents hung out. I definitely would come back to this place especially after hitting up some awesome Thai food at Thai Nam Phet just down the road.

I just had water and like to take it everywhere I go. I understood but by the same token think it's very silly. I understand no outside food, but was just an annoyance. There is a cafe, a small "arcade" which was really about 3-4 arcade machines, a motorcycle racing game and some claw machines, and a bar. There's were about 30 lanes and when we arrived on a Saturday around 3, there was a 45 min wait. The wait went by quickly as we first got a bite at the cafe, then our name was called as we ate. The kids had a blast. We played 5 games across 2 lanes and paid around $150. Seemed kind of steep to me, but some bowler alleys so by game, some by hour. Overall a great experience.
