I requested a refund for a really expensive service that was no longer needed, and they plain refused to refund anything from the 1000$ I already paid. I just recently found this company. they stayed in touch with me throughout the initial consultation, asking questions and making sure that I understood their process of treating the bugs, and also their pricing. They changed my appointment to a date and time that I agreed with, and the technician was friendly, and very knowledgeable about pest control and problems that can occur especially when the summer season comes in. on this initial visit, after he left, I have not seen any bugs so far and it's only been a few days. the good part is, they cleaned the cobwebs from the eaves, (that's what got my attention) so far, so good. the tech Shane, kept in touch to call and ask if I am having any more problems, which is very thoughtful. read more

I have been using Bug Zapper for almost 5 years and have been extremely pleased . They are courteous and professional. Most notably, they were really helpful during these unprecedented times of quarantine. I saw a few ants in our master bathroom and they sent a tech the next day. Justin was very kind and answered our questions. He treated the room and I never saw another ant. He also assured us that it's company policy to come back at no charge if any pest problem persists. We pay a monthly service but it's not a contract as you can cancel at anytime or lower your payments by having then come less often. Very much worth it- especially in the PNW where the rain can send scary spiders into your house. read more

Bug Zapper is the best. No bugs is worth the cost! We live in a historic house that gets huge spiders and tons of bugs outside. Since they sprayed, we've seen not a single living bug. The Eugene tech, Robin Morrison, arrived yesterday and nobody could have pleased me more (and I'm very picky ). Robin has a university degree in entomology, a huge asset to a pest control tech. As, or even more importantly, he is totally ethical and nice. My worry about maybe having wood-boring pests turned out to be simply a disintegrating BBQ pellet below my siding. What a relief! Robin, nevertheless, crawled through our crawlspace and inspected outside and inside the house to ensure that we were pest free and had a sufficient prevention program in place. There was absolutely no attempt to sell us something that we did not need. Now, what else could you want from anybody you do business with? I never met him before in my life, but I couldn't trust him more. read more

Long-term customer service? Not here! 2016: Moles were overrunning our lawn. They were everywhere. I called Bug Zapper, and they came out immediately. Their tech Robin was friendly, prompt, and he knew his mole traps. We were pleased, and extended our service for the full year. 2017: We let the service go for a few months because the lawn looked so good! I called for our new year of service, and I received a shock. The office manager told me they only serviced local people! Last year we were local, and I was a little confused. "We are so busy, and have so much business, that we are not taking on new jobs," as I paraphrase. We weren't new. We had a contract, but according to the owner, he wasn't interested in renewing. Now, we are back to square one searching for a new company with a yard full of moles. Glad I decided against the bug control package they tried to sell me! read more

I spent several hundred dollars with this company and went with them because of their supposed guaranteed service. All that is guaranteed is that you will keep paying money for unreliable service, when you finally reach the owner to complain all he will do is make excuses as to why your pest problem is more difficult. After over 6 months of constant treatment indoors and out I still had a horrible ant problem and wanted a refund. This company will NOT refund your money if they fail. I lodged complaints with Better Business Bureau and Oregon Attorney Generals office. If this company has treated you poorly I strongly urge you to file complaints so something can be done about their sketchy business practices. read more

A rat got into our house on Monday, April 3, late afternoon and our dog chased it into the laundry room. We trapped it inside and called several pest control companies to come help. Some refused to help with a live rat (isn't that why you call pest companies???). Others were nearly done for the day, or couldn't come out until a day or two or three later. Like I'm going to live with a rat in my house for that long?? I called Bug Zapper and Jacob tried his best to get his tech out here that day, but the job he was on was taking longer than expected. So we scheduled for 7 am the next morning. In the meantime, my husband went to the hardware store and bought two large spring-loaded rat traps. We set them in the laundry room and the rat got the food without being trapped. Robin, from Bug Zapper came the next morning and reset the traps, showing me how to do it properly, and then checked around our house and our grounds to see if this was an infestation or just a random rat. Thank goodness it appears to be just a random rat. But it was a big rat, a Norway alpha male that was pretty aggressive. He got the food out of the trap again, and I once again reset it as Robin had shown me. This time it snapped him, but didn't kill him, so I won't go into details on how his life finally came to an end. What I can detail is that Jacob at Bug Zapper was really intent on helping us, and Robin seemed to know his stuff very well. There was no charge for the visit, but if I do end up having another rat or need some other pest service, I'm calling Bug Zapper because I know they can get the job done and I, for one, do not want to live through this kind of experience again. I would highly recommend any DIYers to use a very large industrial size trap when dealing with a rat that big. read more
