I contacted this company to have two screens on my lanai replaced. I explained what I wanted and gave them the address. A person from that company went there, and wanted to replace the screens in four areas and I was quoted a price in excess of $400.
I called one of their competitors and was given a price less than half of that. Needless to say they will be doing the work when I have the screens replaced.
I did tell the company that I wanted only 2 of the screens replaced, and I was met with a response that it would be a different color and the HOA I have the property at might not approve as a result.
By this time I was extremely frustrated with the company and in order to end a phone call and move on, I told them I would contact the HOA myself for an answer. I had no intention of calling them, I just wanted to end the call and talk to a company that would appreciate my business and make me feel good as one of their customers.
The person from bug out did not know how to take no for an answer. He tried texting me later that night. I did not respond and thought that would be the end of the matter. The man from bug out, did not think so. For the next 4 or 5 days he kept calling me and I did not answer the phone, I thought he would take a hint and simply leave me alone. After all, common sense tells most people that someone is not interested in what they have to offer if they are not responding to their communications, but that was not the case with this individual. When I finally had enough of the pestering phone calls, I picked up the phone and asked this person NOT to call back. He didn't call back, but he did text me and harassed me further. I texted him back and asked him what part of the word NO was it that he did not understand.
Its too bad he could not take a hint. This obviously is a company that could not respect my wishes as a prospective customer. They are either money hungry or very desparate for business.
My mother told me once that if I could not say anything nice about someone or something, don't say anything at all. I made an exception in this case because the contact with bug out was unprofessional and rude to me. I encourage people who don't want to have their time wasted or feel like someone has their fingerprints all over their back NOT to call or do business with this company. They will definitely waste your time and/or money. It's just too bad I could not give them a zero rating. read more
